    I called and told me to come take Covid test the front desk told me they are booked. Unprofessional, very lazy system and customer service.

Before even getting the…read morechance to be seen by a provider, the front desk staff seemed more focused on figuring out reasons to turn patients away instead of helping them get care. The front desk ladies were asking questions and making it feel like they were trying to diagnose the issue themselves, only to suggest going somewhere else or provide excuses as to why you shouldn't be seen there. Medical concerns should be handled by the actual medical staff, not decided before you even make it past check-in. On top of that, I was told there was apparently a "4 hour wait," which felt more like a way to discourage people from staying rather than trying to assist patients. I understand urgent cares get busy, but communication, professionalism, and showing concern for patients goes a long way. People come to urgent care because they need help, not to feel like an inconvenience the second they walk through the door. Very disappointing experience and I hope management addresses how patients are treated at the front desk.

I absolutely love love love the doctor. Dr. Horton rocks and makes you feel at ease. There is also another person that works there, (I believe she is a Medical Assistant) and she is the bomb! Very personable. Very friendly. However, the front office staff and whomever answers the phone are the worst and I mean the worst. Not once have I called there and someone has answered the phone sounding upbeat or happy. They need more sensitivity training and just basic good customer service. It would be nice to see a smile when you walk through the door. It would be nice when speaking with them on the phone that they let you know that they are transferring you to a voicemail prior to doing so. It would be nice for them to say "you are welcome" when someone says thank you to them. It would be nice for them to not cut you off in mid sentence. They are not very prompt with returning calls, however, you will get loads of text messages and phone messages when you have an upcoming appointment. It would be nice for them to act like they actual give a damn about you as a patient. I have worked in the medical field and we were trained to treat the patients well. When people are sick, they are stressed out, not feeling well and may be in bad spirits because of what is going on with them medically. Therefore, you need to have someone working there that is empathetic and at least ACTS like they care. I am giving this place two stars on the strength of the doctor alone. Otherwise, I would give NO stars. The front office staff must do better.

    This company is unprofessional and very dangerous. I have had this agency for eight months. Their…read moreCNAs are unprofessional, untrained, uneducated and looking only for a paycheck for free. I have CNAs come to my home that occupy my couch and spend their time on facebook, snapchat and talking to family and freinds. they can not cook, clean, or do vitals. their CNAs have had no care or concern for their clients. I have had one CNA arrested with me in the car for gand theft auto. there was a bench warrent out for her arrest. I have had one CNA take a toilet brush, clean my toilet with water then take that same brush, rub my body soap on it and clean my bath tub with it. I have had a CNA take dirty dishes out of my dish washer and put them back in the drawer. I got Mono as a result. I have had another CNA steal over 700.00 in food stamp money off my card before we caught up with her. I had another CNA duplicate my house key and come to my house off hours when she thought we were not home. I had a CNA come to my home sick with the flu and promptly throw up three times within the first ten minutes of coming then get offended when I asked her to please leave because I just got over the flu myself the day before. I had a CNA abandon me while I was in the middle of a TIA. My child had the where with all to call 911. I had another CNA stand over me, boss me around and tellme what to do then boss my young children around and force them to eat my dinner since I was too sick to eat. She fed them uncooked raw ground meat still forzen and soaked in spagetti sauce over half cooked spagetti noodles. Then she proceeded to mop the floor while they were in the kitchen and told them to stay put. They ate her food out of fear and shortly after became very sick from eating raw meat. We asked her to leave and she said no. Once we got her out of the house, four hours later we found she had left the bath water running flooding the bathroom and the sink water was left also running. we told Mrs. Queenit and Mrs. Happiness of all these abuses and nothing was ever done. sometimes they sent the same abusive people back to my house. Other times I would go weeks with no coverage or services, yet the company was still paid by Medicaid as if i had my service at the time. they even have CNAs that come to my house and bully me to sign time sheets for service never given. they would call and text me guilting me to sign. I thought I had no power to do anything about their abuses and neglect. This page gives me the power to do something and protect others from the harm this agency has caused me. None of this is an exaggeration. The incompetance of this company is over the top. If you value your life and the life of your loved one, do not use this company. Run to a professional to care for your loved one. This company will kill you while they rob Medicaid of our hard earned tax money.

The new lady that maps the veins and does the ultrasound was starting before the woman from the front area told her to stop due to the insurance issue. Prior to her stopping she was not friendly, didnt explain what she was doing & was rather rough with pulling up the shorts to move it out of the way. Second time was today. I rescheduled my 8:15am appt for 12:45pm same day. I showed up exactly at 12:45 and stood in the waiting area at the check-in window for ten minutes without seeing a single person. There's a chime that goes off when someone enters so you'd think someone would've heard it. What a waste of my time. Service has declined over the last year and Im considering changing locations.

Two weeks ago I met with the tech of the clinic, and he was nice, and the doctor, who wasn't so nice. Some changes were being made in the clinic, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I was supposed to have an appointment last week, but do to the changes I referred to earlier, the appointment was changed to this week. The girl that called me to change the appointment was extremely rude and unprofessional!! I went yesterday expecting to see the doctor and the nurse. Two problems with that!! One, it was NEVER told to me that I couldn't have two procedures done on the same day AND the doctor was on vacation!! I would like to make it very clear though, the new Office Manager, the Nurse, and the tech have always been nice and very professional with me. My issue is not with them. It's the company as a whole. I have made the decision to find another clinic (and company) to finish my treatment. I will not be going back to Vein Clinics of America and I would also recommend anyone who chooses to use them, be careful and stay on top of things. So here I am like in my first post, treatment not complete and a lot of discomfort. Unfortunately, I have reached THAT point. It truly does only take one or two bad apples to spoil the entire bunch. Too bad I have to give them one star to post. Not worth the one!!
