I have ordered thousands of business cards, brochures and postcards from Next Day Flyers. I am always thrilled with their quality and service. If they ever detect a low quality image that I have used, they will contact me and allow me to send a revised proof. The color and gloss is great, brochures are folded perfectly and packed well for shipping so that they don't get tangled. The only reason I would ever go with another company is if I need fewer than 100 products. I am thrilled that they have a facility in NJ now - I ordered business cards Monday afternoon and got them Wednesday with ground shipping! Their prices really are unbeatable. A review I just read mirrored my thoughts exactly and I wish I would have read it beforehand: "This place deserves no stars at all". Very sad and disappointed today. I was very excited to find nextdayflyers as we needed some postcard invitations completed fairly quickly for a company event. The website is professional and easy to use and the prices were great!! Seeing as how my order was a bit tricky (I needed some items direct mailed and others shipped to me) , I called them and the specialist that answered was very helpful and walked me through everything! He also assured me our products would be mailed the following Monday if my order was placed by that day (Friday) at 4pm. I also made sure to verify that I could still have the guaranteed shipping by that Wednesday for the shipped items - which he confirmed. Wow! Very exciting! I hurriedly sent my addresses to them as instructed and waited for their reply then ok'd their proof. The quote was high because of my mixed order so I called and a friendly specialist recommended that I go through the order and they would refund the remaining - the reasoning was so they could get started right away and then worry about the exacts later. It wasn't a huge difference and this was very time sensitive so I paid and accepted the order. Monday I checked my order and nothing had happened. I am on EST and they are on PST so I wasn't too worried until Tuesday when I had still heard nothing. I used their online chat tool (which is actually nice because specialists attend right away). Another nice specialist looked into my order and told me a direct mail specialist would be in contact with me when she came in to work at 10 am PST. No problem. Received an email at 11:38am saying the order would be shipped that day. Upsetting that they didn't make it out Monday but it is what it is. Wednesday night 10:58 pm receive an email saying my order had been shipped... That's when I really became concerned. I called them Thursday morning and the specialist I spoke with said he would have the direct mail specialist call me when she got in. No call no call no call. I finally called that afternoon and asked to speak to her. I confirmed that all of my postcards had been mailed to which she confirmed but said 3 addresses could not be verified. I became frustrated because I realized I would have never known which 3 customers did not receive invites had I not just called! I asked her to send me those three addresses and told her this was unacceptable for a company to continually make and not keep promises. She asked who had told me they would be shipped on Tuesday and I had to take a deep breath before telling her that I had her email from Tuesday! I am so glad that I have every conversation documented. I then asked to speak to her manager and told her that I was extremely frustrated with the lack of communication. The least they could do was refund my order especially since they never adjusted the price in the first place like they stated. She became silent. No manager, but said she would refund my order. I received her email with the addresses immediately... but they weren't even my addresses!!!! I emailed her back asking for mine and luckily they were the correct ones, but that didn't ease my fears! A week later the postcards started showing up at our customers... thankfully! But, no shipment to my address. Called them 9 days after they had supposedly been shipped and was told that they would check into it and get back to me. Again, nothing all day. So I brought up their chat. And this time demanded an answer. After quite a wait I was told that there had been an error and the postcards had not been shipped!!!!! They would overnight them. By this time it was too late. The employees are afraid to solve problems (shown by never responding when I asked tough questions) and say anything to make the customer happy. Their lack of communication as a whole is unsettling and makes me wonder how much longer this company can survive. If I was an employee I would be looking for a new job RIGHT AWAY. Very sad situation and very upsetting. If they had just told me up front that they could not complete the job, that would have been fine. Instead, they drug me along on a ride I will never again take. read more

Take your money elsewhere! No quality control! Local promoter suggested I use them for business cards and promotional post cards. Tried them out first on business cards. When I received them in the mail, one entire line is completely illegible so I called them up. Was pretty much told too bad so sad, because their graphics personnel don't check spelling or anything else and since I had approved the art work there was nothing they could do about it. I mean, REALLY, it's not like the colors were a little off from how I thought they'd appear or something was misspelled that maybe they wouldn't have any clue was in error, but to be in the business of business promotional materials and media and allowing product out the door with a line of text completely illegible, is inexcusable! read more

I'm surprised to read such different reviews. NDA was recommended to me by someone and I have happily referred others to this company and have not used another printer since. I feel they have a great product and their pricing is unbelievable. Their turn around time is great as well. I'm glad to see they are continually introducing new products, like the stickers and folders, so I can use them more for my business. My only comment is they need to either let you see a proof once your images are uploaded so you can verify your order online before clicking on your order to be finalized. And if not an instant proof then something that can be sent to you via email for you to approve before printing commences. I'm uncomfortable with printing an order that I can't see. I have felt customer service was helpful with my printing unseen but I'd still prefer to not have to call and verify that all is well. Looking forward to having NDA print my next order! read more

I too wish that I could put a 0.... I've used them in the past and spent thousands of dollars printing with them without incident until last year. I ran into a problem and didn't "approve" something on time. It was a very critical piece and I had never had to approve my artwork before so I wasn't even looking at emails for a request for approval. Needless to say that I did not get my brochures on time. After that incident, I had actually switched to Printing Place. They got out orders on time and even split my shipments but they were not as cost effective for the "immediate" run. Unfortunately I made the mistake of using Next Day Flyers again last week. I was in a time crunch so I went back to Next Day Flyers for the better rate. What a mistake! I was worried about a repeat from the last order so I was very vigilant and checked my email up until 8pm EST on a Friday night. There was no email with the "approval" request in my inbox so I thought I was all set. Not the case at all. I got into work on Monday morning and there it was - request for approval. I naturally approved it immediately and was notified via email that it was scheduled for the next press. Online status update indicated all was on schedule for shipment that day with estimated delivery for the next morning. Day of estimated arrival - NOTHING! The online status update said it was still scheduled for pickup the day before and when I called to find out what happened, they told me I hadn't approved it until the day before so it hadn't even left their building as of yet. My advice: DO NOT USE THEM ON ANYTHING TIME CRITICAL. It is worth it to spend a little more on other printing places (such as The Print Place) to get your brochures/product on time. If I had known the day before that the brochures and business cards were not going to go out on time, I would have spent the extra money to do the same day printing at another place (or even with them) to make sure that my sales people had their brochures and business cards at the trade show. What a nightmare! To add insult to injury, I was told that someone would call me back within the hour to discuss my issues and concerns. I had to call them back hours later when I did not receive the call. read more

I placed my order at 1am Thursday morning, they emailed me Thursday around 10am ish saying that they had to alter some things and needed my approval. I fixed one or two things, and there was a little trouble with the file they needed to have approved. I called customer service and they were awesome and fixed it within a few minutes. I picked up my business cards (including a detailed pic) on Friday afternoon and they were perfect! Whoop whoop!!! :D I will be using them again in the future :) read more

I wish I could give them a negative star. This company is the worst. I payed an additional 25% of my order to get cards on December 24th. They called from Manilla on the 23rd to tell me they could not meet "my deadline". I informed them that it was their deadline and that I paid to get the cards the next day. They told me they could print them on the 31st. They should change their name to Two Week Flyers, Maybe. They called repeatedly throughout the day including at 9:30 at night. During that call Hazel told me that she would refund the charge. That still hasn't happened so I called my credit card company to dispute the charge. They are a complete ripoff and a fraud. The site states "Back to back printing, sequential numbering and padding are optional. Print as low as 250 or as much as 10,000 forms, and will be ready to ship in 3 business days." It is misleading and dishonest. My order is taking 15 days! I still have not received it. The customer service is insincere and not helpful. I used them because I needed it quickly. I ordered on the 9th and needed my order by the 18th. I didn't get it and I am told that it will arrive by 2/24!! The shipping is high especially for a 2 week turnaround! I have used Next Day Flyers several times and USED to regularly refer them to others however I will no longer do so after experiencing how unwilling their customer service is to remedy a problem and work with their customers. My experience with them has been hit or miss but I am finally done with giving them chances as this last chance cost me a client. The last straw? I submitted a file that was properly prepared and press ready when I sent it, however their pre-press dept. decided that because the two sides of my job were too similar for their tastes they decided to hold my job (have you people never heard of double sided product?!). When I realized what had happened the next day I wanted to have my file moved to same day printing but I was informed because it was on the "next day" plate already they could not (read would not) do this, even if I agreed to pay the extra fee (which I was willing to pay because I was desperate but felt I shouldn't have had to because I did make the cutoff and as per their own CSR they normally just send the files to print as long as they were prepared properly as mine were). They said the soonest I could have it was the next day but (after an hour of being told there was nothing they could do) they promised to print overnight so at the least I would have it done early so I could ship it out. However apparently my job was somehow moved from the "next day" plate to the "2-4 day plate" at some point during the night so now it was still not ready even the next day ... (so I guess the "we can't change plates thing" was a lie...) I lost a client over the delay and ended up finally with a job that was virtually worthless because it was late. I use other printers in L.A. that are cheaper and offer a larger variety of paper stock, ink and finishing options. The ONLY reason I use Next Day is when I need something "the next day" apparently they have trouble delivering on that promise and have a nonchalant attitude about things when they go wrong. The remedy free - just suck it up and deal with it attitude i encountered made me feel extremely unvalued as a customer and frequent referrer. I am done using them and referring anyone to them. read more

This place is hit or miss. Eiether things work out well, or they work out terribly. A few hours after submitting my graphics I was notified that it was not aligned properly. No problem, I fixed the issue and uploaded the new files. The next morning at 6am I get another email saying it was still off- despite fixing it according to their template. I was told to hit "approve" to use the card anyway, which I did. Here's the kicker. The delivery date on the "Approve" page indicated it would be ready the same day. "Wonderful", I thought. So I called in just to verify and they said there's nothing that could be done, it wouldn't be ready until the next day. I told them about the delay in communication, and how I was told to "just move this graphic up and this letter to the left and you'll be fine", I made the corrections and did everything I was supposed to do and I still can't get what I paid for in time. Of course, lacking customer service skills, all they could say was "sorry". I'll find a local printer with better prices. read more

these guys are horrible, i would take a picture of how bad the printing is but surprisingly they look better on camera. i dont like to leave bad reviews but these guys are the worst. they didnt even try to help, although it was their mistake they wanted to charge me to get a new order. also, i dont know why they are called "next day flyers" since it took me over a week to get my order. the reps are so rude its unbelievable. i would order through vistaprint even though they are a little more expensive it is so worth it. and the quality is so much better!! read more

I have placed MANY orders with NDF for various needs. Stickers, packaging with unique scoring/perforation, business cards, etc. I am a desinger, and I choose to use their templates because they have strict bleed and safety guidelines. A LOT OF PEOPLE DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY GET BORDERS ON THEIR ARTWORK. Please do yourself a favor "desingers" and look up safety, trim & bleed. And know that they only add borders if they can't fix your files any other way. They do indeed communicate with people via email which I think is great. If I stop to take a phone call and I am out and about, do I really want to stop what I am doing to take notes about what needs to change with my files. If people can't attend to their emails in 2013 perhaps they should buy their own at-home printer kits and print their own cards. I highly recommend NDF. Just use their templates and be sure you know what you are ordering and when you need it by. read more

I have used this company for years. They do a great job if you have a very basic project like a traditional business card or post card and can make a straight order through their Internet site. They are the cheapest I can find for the quality - and the quality is indeed great. But if your project requires special services like various versions, mail fulfillment or freight shipping and if you have a very tight deadline with no wiggle room - forget it. You'll be babysitting the project the whole way through. And don't count on them delivering on time. If your deadline is crucial, pay a little more and go to a traditional press that offers the full service customer care, so you can rest easy that you won't fail your client due to NDF's failures. I have yet to have a 'special' project go through this press without problems. P.S. Also, If you're an agency & don't want your 3rd party vendors like NDFs calling your clients directly, then definitely don't use this press...highly unorganized project management on their end. read more
