First of all we have no MAJOR losses within the past five years. A new agent that joined this firm earlier in 2024 around the same time our prior policy got mysteriously non-renewed. This new agent at Labarre told us that they have so many options, we will likely get several competitive quotes, even though the current climate is not that great. He started working on it about 100 days prior to our renewal. Somehow, within those 100 days he suddenly couldn't get a quote and then got us a quote more than double our already high premium AFTER our insurance lapsed. This left us in a lurch. I would have been more than happy to seek out other agencies; however, he misled us by stating that we will receive many competitive quotes. Shame on me for trusting this person and trusting this firm.
