I had a very disappointing experience with this company. I've used movers many times over the years and have generally had great experiences, but this was different. The owner was injured at the time, and one of the movers working the job appeared inexperienced, repeatedly needed direction, handled and threw my belongings carelessly, and struggled to wrap items properly. I later discovered that multiple items were damaged and that my storage unit had been packed poorly with significant wasted space. What concerned me further was how the owner responded when I later shared my experience publicly. Rather than keeping the disagreement professional, he called me a "scammer" and "not a good person" and made several false and inflammatory accusations about me. I understand that businesses may disagree with negative reviews, but I believe the way a company handles customer complaints says a lot about the business. Based on both the move and the response afterward, I would not use this company again. read more

PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS when using these people. They were covered in dirt and grime and got our $3,500 couch so gross. REALLY disappointed. The only reason it didn't get worse is we asked for him to wash his arms and hands. No attention to detail unfortunately. read more

I needed a last minute move and NextStop Movers really came in clutch. They provided a fair estimate and stuck to it. They showed up on time and were well prepared. I think this is the first negative review I've ever made in my life, in all my years, I have never dealt with service like this. Im sure most of the positive reviews are fake bots. 2 hours late, with no communication about it, did not even address it until I brought it up. His response "Oh, traffic". Even if it's not a lie, that "You were stuck in traffic for 2 hours", you are supposed to leave early enough. Him and his employee packed so slowly, and took way too long. 13 hours and they still weren't done. The next movers I hired, did more than twice as much in 4 hours. DJ labeled several boxes incorrectly. He put boxes full of pots and blenders in my new bedroom. He didn't wrap any mattresses or furniture before moving them. I noticed when I saw him loading up the mattress and then at the new place, one of the mattresses, he left unwrapped on the floor in the garage. There's scratches all over my furniture. I went back to my old place today and saw that he left so much stuff. I had to make multiple trips to my car to take everything he left. Ridiculous. The worst part about this, they put my bathroom floor mats on my computer chair, and put my water bottles and juice underneath the bathroom mats! Then when I brought it up, DJ said it was his employee. I asked DJ's employee what was up with that? His employee shrugged and walked away. He tells lies for zero reason at all. I had to meet him at my new place, so I called to ask if he had left yet. He says yes. I was surprised because he didn't tell me he left until I asked him. So I quickly grabbed my things and started heading out (took me 15 minutes) and on my way out, I see him still loading up his truck! He had at least another 30 minutes. He tried to hide behind the truck when he saw me come out. You have a big white pick up truck and a trailer, of course I'll see you. He lies for reasons he doesn't even need to. So so so so many lies, this isn't even half. I had to fire him. It was causing me too much stress. I could no longer trust him. I see on another post he responded to someone that he "never did any business with her". It could be true, but I'm sure he's lying. What professional moving company does written agreements through text? The company I replaced him with was very professional and said they (Next stop movers) are unprofessional ametures. would give zero stars if I could. They were the worst movers I experienced in my 10 various moves. 1. They gave me an estimate of 4-5 hours for entire home. I packed most of it and left only furniture for them to pack. They took total of 9.5 hrs to pack the remaining furniture. This is when I helped them with lot of lifting and packing, 2. They told me that have experience packing the furniture for container/international move doing inventory and all. They didn't do jack s**t and I have to do it. 3. Most of the packing they did, had issues. Either the wrap was not done properly or the denture was not completely packed in blankets. 4. They had no clue to load and arrange the container. Me and my sister helped them a lot to pack the container still they took 3 hrs to load containers which is easily done under two hrs to load a 20 ft container when all the items are already packed, in garage and container is right infront of the garage. 5. To get business they say YES to everything but they know nothing. 6. One of their third guy dropped a box which has clearly written Fragile on it with red sticker. 7. Infact the whole crew didn't bother about any box that had Fragile sticker on it. They kept putting other heavy items including mattress on it. 8. They wrapped my mattress with tape which has to be stretched wrap again the next day as it was done so poorly that it opened and while moving they ripped the mattress cover. If you want to just move item sheet and there locally they might be ok but for any big job, I would never hire them again. read more

I want to state that at first when we came with this company everything seemed fine my house was packed things were left behind that was not supposed to they even left all the boats to my beds and I had to ship it from San Diego all the way to Denver and now I'm having an issue with receiving my belongings because they messed up my stuff should have been here yesterday on Sunday the 24th instead they called me a few days later saying that they were going to deliver it on a Thursday last week on a 17th and then change their minds and still have not bring my things and now it's past the due date they were supposed to have my things at my house no answers they got their money and now my stuff is just God forbid I don't know where my kids are going to have to sleep on the floor due to this company being very unorganized and not having their things together as they claim I will never in my life use this company again never anybody that is using them they need to really be careful even though we have the contract it's like to them it's irrelevant and they don't know when they're going to deliver my stuff this is u******** believable I wanted to share this for any future customers before you give these people your money you need to really consider if you really want your stuff on time or even get it at all I don't know where my stuff is they're not giving me answers they're just holding my belongings and my family's belongings and not giving a date of delivery after we already had one in place on the contract what is the point of a contract if you're breaking it after you get your money and you have my belongings this is crazy never have I dealt with something like this in my life until this moment with them very very shameful I'll disgust it by this company and they want to sit here and charge so much money I don't give a damn if it was $10 you charge you get your job done right this is not the way profession happens excuse my language here but I am very unhappy stressed out they say stress-free there's nothing stress free about this at all.......... read more
