They had to deal with a bunch of stairs at my apartment but did a great job. The pricing was clear and not overly expensive. BEWARE!!!!! We hired Hulk for an Interstate move in Jan. 2026 and we have had nothing but problems with this company. Sanjar the owner came to our house and gave us an assessment of what size truck we would need. Since he was the professional, we deferred to him to give us the recommendation of the truck size. On the day of the move, we saw the truck and immediately knew it was too small. We brought this to his attention and to his staff's attention. But they didn't seem to be too concerned about it and again - we deferred to them since they were the so called "professionals". Well we were right in that our stuff did NOT fit and so they had to leave some of our belongings at home. Its a long story but to summarize: some of our items were lost, damaged and undelivered. Some of our items in the kitchen cabinets were not packed as they did not do their due diligence and check all the cabinets. We had to pay for some of those items to be shipped to us as Sanjar refused to pay for the shipping since we excedded the 26,000 weight limit. Again, he should gotten a bigger truck or reevaluated his quote since we told him that the truck he provided was too small. It was obvious that our stuff wasnt going to fir as soon as ww saw it. We would have happily paid for a bigger truck. Instead of taking responsibility, Sanjar the owner, blamed us for the issues and refused to pay us compensation, per the Contract. Our friends had to pick up the remainder of our belongings because they refused to ship it to us unless we paid for the cost. Hulk also initially refused to give us our deposit back unless we signed the closing document that states there were no items lost or damaged. We of course refused to sign the closing contract as it was materially untrue. We eventually got our deposit and the claim form after much effort on our part, and only after we threatened legal action. Fast forward to August 2026, we took him to small claims court and the judge ruled in our favor and ordered him to pay us $564.50 buy 8/20/26. Hulk has not paid us as of current date. Sanjar also texted us stating that if we took down or Google Review that we would send us a check. Unbelievable that he would try to manipulate us, instead of following the court order. Feel free to look it up on Casenet.com - case #26JO-SC00004 https://www.courts.mo.gov/fv/c/JUDGMENT.PDF?courtCode=17&di=4859985 Also, the address they have on their website is a false and fraudulent address. We tried serving him there and the professional server found that it was an empty lot!!!! The court also tried serving him at this same address and the mail was returned to the court. This guy was difficult to serve and knows how to evade service - which is why we had to hire a professional server. The fraudulent address is: 9225 Dowdy Dr #105, San Diego, CA 92126 This is a major violation and we have notified the proper authorities. Additionally, they are now in contempt of court by not paying us per the small claims court order. BEWARE. We would definitely recommend you look elsewhere. Their contract only covers damages of .60 per pound. It conveniently does not state anything about coverage for damages, lost and undelivered items. This was my first experience using a moving service. Overall the coordination of the move was smooth. I submitted an inquiry and was responded back with a quote very quickly. The date I needed to move was about a week and a half out and they were able to accommodate. There is a 3-hour minimum you have to pay. I had a 1 bedroom apartment's worth of furniture/items. The movers were very efficient and got everything done within 2.5 hours (note: it also helped that where I was moving was only a few minutes away from where I lived). The movers were respectful. For the most part, my items were handled with care. I was a little nervous about how some boxes were handled that had more delicate things but nothing was damaged. When the movers arrived I was still packing a few things. I was under the impression that the service included packing but I did not specifically request it. It wasn't a lot of items left to pack, but I was just thrown off when I was packing boxes while the movers just waited until I was done. Just sharing this in the event you need assistance packing, to make that clear from the beginning. I still had a positive experience with Hulk Movers and appreciate the helping hands which made moving a lot less stressful. read more

We had a very disappointing and stressful experience with Hulk Movers and would not recommend them. Our move was from Fallbrook to Menifee, and despite discussing our move in advance, the crew arrived without a truck large enough to fit our belongings. Several hours into the move on a Saturday, we were informed that everything would not fit, leaving us scrambling to find and rent an additional truck at the last minute. This resulted in hundreds of dollars in unexpected expenses on top of what we had already paid for the move. To make matters worse, my husband and I had to leave the movers and rush to secure another truck ourselves while managing our children during the move. We were left with very few options and a tremendous amount of unnecessary stress. After renting the additional truck, my husband and I ended up moving and unloading many of our own belongings ourselves. I have back problems and a heart condition, which is one of the main reasons we hired professional movers in the first place. Instead of reducing our physical strain and stress, the situation created even more of both. When I contacted management to express my concerns, I felt completely dismissed. Rather than acknowledging the impact of their mistake, the manager told me I was being "too emotional" for raising legitimate concerns about the situation and the significant additional expense. He also denied ever discussing our inventory with me, despite previous conversations. I was told the owner would contact me to discuss the matter, but weeks later, I have still received no response. As a military family, we have moved many times over the years and understand that unexpected issues can happen. What matters is how a company responds when problems arise. Unfortunately, Hulk Movers showed little concern for the consequences of their errors, the additional costs we incurred, or the stress placed on our family. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and choose a different moving company. Based on our experience, customer concerns are not taken seriously, and accountability is lacking. Slowest movers I experienced in my lifetime. I have hired over a dozen moving companies and this is by far the slowest. What should've been a 3 hour job took them 6 hours. They charge by the hour and I understand the need to make money. But it was so obvious they are intentionally milking those hours. They also broke a few things which valued around $600+ dollars. I first reached out to another mover on Yelp for a quote, but after comparing several companies, I liked that Hulk Movers had great reviews, fair rates, and no hidden fees (just like they advertise). The movers--William, Sergei, Abdulla, and Eduardo--showed up right on time. Since I was moving from one apartment to another in the same building (just on opposite ends), they quickly came up with a game plan and got to work. They wrapped and protected all my furniture with blankets and wrap, and handled everything with care. They worked quickly without cutting corners, made sure not to bump into walls, and placed everything exactly where I wanted it. Nothing was damaged, and the whole process felt smooth and stress-free. Had an amazing experience with my Hulk movers Ram and Gael. Before arriving they communicated their eta giving me plenty of time to be prepared. When they arrived my building had unfortunately shut down the first floor elevator unexpectedly and the team had to go up some stairs to the next elevator. I had the BEST experience with Hulk Movers on my recent cross-country move. Sanjar was responsive, friendly, and confident from our first interaction. He was available throughout the moving process, and made a stressful move actually quite easy. As a single woman who couldn't be present on moving day, I was worried I'd be taken advantage of or something big would go wrong. Not the case at all! I felt completely taken care of and was reassured things would go smoothly... and they absolutely did! Sanjar went above and beyond to ease my nerves, and more importantly, he delivered. Moving was quick and I had my stuff unloaded and put back together within days of packing up. There are no zeros. You probably won't see this review because the owner will take it down. These movers damaged and broke so much of our furniture. One piece being an irreplaceable antique dresser. They broke my husband's desk & bookshelf that were part of a three piece office set. I contacted the company and they blamed us. We drove wrong. They blamed the movers that unloaded us, they weren't careful. That is unacceptable! Funny, the items that we loaded in a trailer that we also drove up ourselves...not a thing broken or damaged...hmmm, how does that work. Crappy work, that's how it happens!
