I'm sure his award plaques and wall decor is 30 plus of recommendation and recognitions. I stopped counting,and was focused on his knowledge. He was friendly and offered a treatment plan for which I am thankful for. I haven't moved forward with any procedure because of the cost. I did leave a $1k deposit,as I would like to have him complete my intensive oral surgery. Again,so far great service and understood my pain in my mouth and my wallet. For now, I can only share this much,as I have not had any physical procedure scheduled. No sales calls or pressure from office which I like. Once I am ready,I will update. Waited 25 minutes with no acknowledgment from the receptionist or doctor. 2. I then asked the receptionist how much longer and she said maybe 5-10 minutes, umm...we do not have an open room. She did not sound truthful. 3. Her rationale was because I was early and that they don't normally have patient coming in early. Prior to my appointment, I received several text reminders which I confirmed via the link in the text. They should send appointment reminders to themselves! Dr. Kim was a referral from my dentist and it was a disappointment before it even started.

Dr. Braga's skills and expertise are top-notch. His ethical standards of care are impeccable. Over my three years of seeing him, I experienced two big gum graft surgeries with him. The surgeries were successful and with minimal pain. He called me afterwards each time to make sure recovery was okay. In the lead up to the surgeries, he explained all the pros and cons of various options to me. He happily answered questions and went above and beyond to educate me, the patient. For example, when explaining the choice between using cadaver tissue vs. my own, he brought out slides to show me the difference. He told me not just "do this" but gave probabilities and statistics. His style is 'show vs tell' and I appreciate that as a patient. It comes down to the fact that he loves his field, and he is a good person. You get the sense that he really loves his profession and solving problems for patients. Finally and just as important, the office's hygienist Carmela is outstanding. This experience has been painful, expensive and a bit traumatic. The "expensive" part could've been so much worse but Dr. Yen did everything he could to help ease the blow and it was so very much appreciated. The one saving grace in all of this is the way that Dr. Yen has taken care of, not only me, but also the situation. He has been so attentive and empathetic. We're also surprised and grateful that Dr. Yen, treated us like family, constantly trying to save us money, he tirelessly and patiently explaining to my husband, twice I think, how and why treating three different areas in one visit, saving at least $2,300 than what my husband's brother suggested better to split into three or more different visits. Dr. Yen called and checked on me @ 7:00 pm tonight, after he saw more patients after he extracted, cleaned, and bone grafted my #30 tooth, and cleaned #31 all done by 4:00 PM (in less than an hour), I am so impressed, he kept me informed of the different types of surgery procedures all throughout the surgery, I only felt very minimal pain from the local anesthesia needle, no pain, no swelling, no bleeding as far as I could tell, how's it possible? The lengthy instructions clearly stated to use ice packs, 10 mins on 10 mins off for first 24 hrs (3 packs were provided), then warm heat packs for next 24 hrs to break up swelling and minimize bruising, I tried for less than 30 mins while driving home post surgery, then stopped, since there's no need, no swelling, no bleeding, and no bruising at all. I am so thankful for Dr. Yen's incredible expertise, and Dr. Yen is so humble, he asked me how do I know he's done such an amazing job? I think it's quite self explanatory, when those possible bad/worse/worst scenarios are not happening to me, Dr. Yen has done a fantastic job! Right?
