Boba tea here apparently made it on top 10 for best boba when I searched in google. Seeing this shop made me try this place out and it didn't disappoint. Boba here is chewy and cooked properly and drinks here while it leans on sweeter side it's still good. I personally recommend ordering your drinks 50% sweet and it'll still taste just as good. They got both honey boba and a brown sugar boba. Both will taste just as good!! Rose milk tea with honey boba was what I liked a lot and ordered. First off, the employees here are so awesome! I've spoken to Michelle and Mari who originally spent a long time on the phone with me discussing my options ever so graciously with patience. She is just as sweet in person. Just got the awesome customer service alone I would come back every time because it's hard to enjoy anything from someone who has no people skills. So 5 stars on that one! So I ordered the brown sugar milk tea with brown sugar boba! Soooo good! I ordered it at 75% and so glad I did..it wasn't overly sweet as some had mentioned and I don't drink my drinks very sweet in general..I don't know maybe it was because I asked for like 4 ice cubes..lol. We also ordered the ni hao milk tea at 75% with the cream cheese fluff..soooo good and the sweetness was perfect. As good as the cream cheese fluff was..I would order it without next time because I really enjoyed their delicious tea and wanted that flavor in my mouth the whole time..lol Now, I came back on day 3 and ordered the Thai tea with 75% sweetness..delicious!! With 4 ice cubes again so maybe it was watered down but it wasn't that sweet..I wish I had gotten 100%. But it was delicious! We also ordered the mango passion fruit with mango jelly at 100% again with 4 cubes..we just hate our drinks watered down.. it was just ok to me..why? Because it was bitter... not sure why..I kept drinking it and trying to figure out was it my mouth or the drink..we both agreed..it was the drink. So for this reason they get 4 1/2 stars so I gave them an overall 5! My only suggestion is... no blending the Thai tea. Love this place! Saw when they opened and never went in until recently. So pretty inside, clean, and great customer service! I got thai milk teas for my kiddos with different bobas for each and I got the mango cheesecake frozen concoction with mango boba. That mango cheesecake frozen drink was super delicious. Ni Hao gives Bing's boba a run for their money! I love boba. I would drink it everyday if I could. The owner gifted Tucson with high quality beverages. My all time favorites include winter melon, house, and brown sugar boba. I switch off between honey boba and brown sugar boba. Drinks are sweet here, so I cut the sweetness to 50-75% and always ask for light ice. The staff are very considerate. I was a regular here early in the pandemic and they safely brought your order to your car. I love that I didn't even have to get out. The online ordering system is very user friendly. My coworker introduced me to this place and now I'm addicted! I love boba and they made me love it even more. Ni Hao Tea makes theirs fresh so they are still warm in your drink. They have a variety of flavors that I haven't seen at other places. The coconut milk with brown sugar boba is so good. I recently tried the rose milk and I was pleasantly surprised. I would like to recognize the kindness that I witnessed at this place. First of the Thai tea was amazing but what I observed truly gave some hope for humanity . Two homeless women ( they were evicted from their apartments) ended up leaving their carts and dogs outside and coming in to cool off. I saw the employee proceed to go to them thinking she was going to ask them to leave. However, she just asked a little bit of what was going on, shared some resources to help them to get support for housing and other services , and gave them two free drinks. Even when the homeless women accidentally dropped water all over the table, she came graciously and cleaned it up. These women weren't looked as less than but as individuals who needed some help and a place to be safe. The boba is amazing here but I had to leave a review of a very unexpected, kind and not so typical interaction that involved one of your employees. Always choose kindness ! read more

So happy they recently reopened amid coronavirus! This is hands down the best boba in Tucson. They offer a solid variety of drinks and toppings, so you can be as adventurous or classic as you want! What I really like about ni hao is that they offer lactose free milk. This truly changes the tea game because I was never really a fan of the powdered dairy creamer (it always made my stomach a little wonky after drinking any sort of boba). But with the lactose free milk, you get the same creamy milk tea without the unwanted stomach upset! They also have /amazing/ matcha. It's ceremonial grade, and even though I can make my own matcha lattes at home, I would gladly spend the money on ni hao matcha! Do yourself a favor and drink some ni hao boba. read more

Which... may not be saying much, given our limited choices of Bing's (...) vs Cha Time (...better...), but it's still something to celebrate. Wonderful atmosphere (shoutout to the front lounge area with a Switch !!) with their own personalized neon sign that spells out their namesake in Mandarin Chinese, cute light fixtures, wooden tables, and everything is clean clean clean! I tried the fresh taro milk tea with boba, which they advertise uses actual taro root blended to add to the milk tea. Very tasty, but I would recommend opting for half or maybe even quarter sugar, as this was quite sweet and difficult to finish in one sitting (as much as I wanted to just devour it all at once!). What a treat! Today, I ventured out of my house to grab my first drink since quarantine. Ni Hao Tea's website makes it so easy to customize your drink and swing by for curbside pickup. When I was driving up, they texted me letting me know my drink was ready. I had to call their phone number when I parked and describe my vehicle so they could bring my drink out to me. I ordered the Hokkaido Milk Tea with honey boba and my favorite: grass jelly. Each topping was $.50, but they offer half order toppings for $.25 each. A nice option is that you can select your desired sugar/sweetness and ice level. I chose 50% sweetness and my drink was still too sweet for my taste. I generally don't add sugar in my tea or coffee. Next time, I will ask for a lower sweetness level. The Hokkaido milk tea was silky and creamy. I also enjoyed the toppings. But yelp and friends have helped me get the confidence to try things outside my comfort zone, let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. My friend recommended this place for a soft opening they were having, apparently I had just missed the rush so they were out if the tapioca balls (bummer) so I got the jellies instead. I wasn't to sure what to get so my friend recommend the traditional Boba which is black tea, milk and brown sugar. Would I get it again. . . Yes, but I would like to try the flavored boba, like the Matcha and Taro. It's really cute inside with plenty of indoor seating.
