First time here and last. Lady in the front (wearing a tank top with blondish medium hair) was not friendly at all, RBF. After ordering, didn't wash hands or wear gloves. When pouring the drinks into the cups, she drops one and the floor and was going to continue to use it and I had to tell her I didn't want a dropped cup to be used. She angrily grabs a new one and puts the dropped cup back with the new ones. Like WTF. Yea over priced and not trying to catch a stomach bug. Also noticed a cleaning product was left outside next to open tubs of Nutella. Like an inch away. Really disappointed. Wasted 35 dollars. read more

I probably eat acai bowl more than average as this is my absolutely favorite thing to eat. I usually make it at home because there is no place close to my house that makes it. Since I was in the area and craving one, I decided to give this place a try. Their acai bowl was delicious. The one I ordered was very simple with just some berries and bananas (exactly how I make at home) and lots of granolas! It is on the sweeter side. I have passed by this place dozens of times and never knew it existed. The only reason I ending up finding it was because I had a craving for a green smoothie and wanted to try a new place. I found an article online that listed Tucson's top smoothie places and this place came up. It's in a strip mall which is why I never noticed it before. I couldn't have been more surprised at what a fantastic experience this was given the hidden nature of this gem. First of all, I was super high-maintenance and wanted something that wasn't on the menu. They had a juice that I wanted to model it after, and then I also wanted to add all kinds of things. I was especially excited to see that some of their additional ingredients were organic, which is rare to find here in Tucson. I got the Green Goddess ingredients and added almond butter, almond milk, banana, flax seed, chia seed, and avocado. Not only was the person at the counter willing to entertain this mess of a creation, she pointed out that without the almond milk (which I had neglected to include originally), it would be too think. So she gave me the chance to add a liquid. In addition, she was concerned that it wasn't going to be sweet enough (I had originally not asked for banana), so she offered honey and when I mentioned that I wasn't really into added sugars in my smoothie, she suggested a fruit. Lastly, it turns out that they have an option for either plain chia seed or chia seed soaked in coconut water. Be still my heart!! I chose the latter since she gave me the choice. The place is very cute, they were playing good music, and even though most people were taking theirs to-go while I was there, I enjoyed sitting to sip my smoothie and relax for a while. The only thing I would possibly suggest for an improvement is to ditch the foam glasses for something that's recyclable. I didn't take any stars away because that's just me being a modern hippie about stuff and is a personal preference for the environment. If you can't tell, I LOVED this place and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a smoothie or juice! Haven't been so lucky to find any as good in Tucson, until now ! Great portion size and wonderful flavor. It can be difficult to find a smoothie place that doesn't put a bunch of sugary juices/ice cream in their drinks (they also have these options on their menu but offer a variety of nutritious options as well). My girlfriend and I were really excited to try this smoothie shack right next to our house since it just opened. I walked in and regardless of being on the phone with my dad I still greeted the worker and got no response. I told my dad to give me a second while I placed the order and while I was asking her questions on the menu, she gave off the impression that she didn't want to answer my questions and was very short with me not really explaining anything. She was the only one working there when I went in at 11. I ended up ordering 2 smoothies and they were pretty awesome combinations, but as for the customer service I was highly disappointed. The only complaint I had was that there was only one employee working during the lunch rush.
