Price wise is pretty much the same as any other Boba drinks in Bridgeport. Taste - Honestly we like this place more than other places in Bridgeport. Stopped by just curious to see what new dessert shop opened in the neighborhood. We got a peach milk tea with 70% sugar/light ice and the taro lava cake. The milk tea was much better than either my husband or I were expecting as it had a beautifully, brewed pungent tea that was kissed with a peach! For the cake, we both thought it was the perfect amount of sweetness (we both like light cakes). The cake was light and airy while the filling had real taro inside. I would say the only negative side is that it wasn't exactly a lava cake (the filling didn't ooze out), but the inside was still very delicious. We will definitely be back to support this local business! FYI for those used to "American cakes", these desserts are not sickeningly sweet as a lot of American grocery store cakes are. I got their Jasmine Milk Tea along with the vanilla basque cheesecake and let me tell yall. They were so freaking good. If you like the artificially sweetened syrup most boba tea shops use, you can stop reading right now bc this place ain't about that. They use some real ass tea along with really fresh and quality milk and sweetners. I forgot to tell them how sweet I wanted my tea, only to be pleasantly surprised that they don't play the "Ima dowse this ish with so much syrup you're insulin gets excited" but instead opt for the "here's a dash of honey to elevate the essence of the tea." I've eaten Jasmine rice all my life and didn't know Jasmine could taste that good lmao. And then that cheesecake. Omg. The whipped cream on top melts in your mouth as the cheesecake crumbles with that refreshing pop of the fruit. Washed it down with that Jasmine milk tea and before I knew it, my dessert sesh was gone. This is definitely more of a take out place, but there's a small table and a chair or two if you want to grab a quick bite/drink. I imagine it's probably for the people ordering and waiting so worst case scenario, enjoy your goods over at the neighborhood park, just a block over. If you want some bomb desserts and boba without the guilt of all the extra sweetners, this is the place for you. We had the Four Seasons green milk tea with boba and a slice of black sesame caramel crepe cake. Both were delicious. They didn't fill the milk tea with ice (one of my boba tea pet peeves), the temperature and sweetness levels were perfect without me having to ask for less sugar, and the boba were cooked perfectly. The crepe cake was incredible - the texture is similar to Lady M's but the flavor was so unique, I've never had anything like it. Sometimes I think black sesame can be a bit overpowering, but it was used just right in this cake. The owner was lovely, he was very warm and encouraging with my husband (who speaks Chinese with an American accent) which we both really appreciated. I would describe prices as on par for market. I went there and they are overpriced. 9.95 for a cake it barely has flavor!! Their drinks are not sweet and they ask for your desired amount of ice yet their regular ice is 2 ice cubes. Even with short notice they were able to create an amazing strawberry crepe cake (26 layers!) and were additionally kind enough to individually package each slice so that I could bring it to work and be COVID compliant with sharing food.
