Raul and Joe spent one day cleaning our interior and exterior upholstery. It was all very dirty and hadn't been cleaned for 5 years. Despite the almost white color of the fabric they were able to bring it back to new color condition! They protected all surfaces adjacent to the cleaning work completely. 2nd day they cleaned all tile floors in the house. 5 years of grime and dark dirty grout has been restored to new original condition. These guys came highly recommended, but I was more than disappointed. I asked for a specific time frame as the place of businesses that needed carpet cleaning has distinct hours that are always the same. They showed up hours early, called me a liar when explaining that I would not have set the time frame up otherwise, negated their original time confirmation, and then proceeded to hang up on me after being rude, disrespectful, and telling me "too bad". I've used Niagara twice over the past few years, and have been pleased both times. We live in a 3 level townhome with carpet on both sets of stairs and our top level. The stairs get filthy; particularly those leading from the ground level entry door up. Niagara was easy to schedule, arrived on time and were in and out very quickly. I am a fan. They do excellent, professional work. We have dogs that sometimes urinate on the carpets. Niagara has been extremely helpful with getting the odor out of the carpet. The workers come on time, and even call when close by to make sure we are home. They either do the carpets in place or take them for treatment at the plant. Niagara also did a great job cleaning our upholstered dining room chairs and our cushions on our outdoor furniture. The only reason I give a 4 star is because they seem a bit pricey. Had Niagra come to my home in Newport to spray all my new carpets with protective spray immediately after installation. As far as I knew, everything would be protected - until I had some water get on the carpets and the beige, very expensive carpets, yellowed in the spots where the water had dried. This happened twice. One after rain got in under a door and one when a pipe had a pin hole leak. This is a vacation home so we are not always there to inspect for water getting on the carpets. I called as soon as I was aware of the problem (had only been one week between house cleanings. Niagra came out the very next day, but as soon as the two carpet cleaners saw the stain, they immediately said they couldn't get it out and hardly even tried to help. They were in and out in 10 minutes. Very disappointed since I had paid alot for the carpet protections. So they sell you the protection but there is no protection for the stain when you get one. read more

We were hosting a very important Anniversary dinner party at our house for 30 guests and had a crisis. Our dog was very ill and had accidents on both the dining room carpet and our persian area rug in the living room. I called Niagara Carpet and explained that I was hosting an event in 4 days and needed to have the stains cleaned but that I really did not have time to wait. He picked up our rug THAT day and sent a couple of guys back the next morning to clean the dining room carpet while my rug was being cleaned at their shop. We have used Niagara Carpet service twice over the past few years and are VERY happy with their service. We have VERY specific needs and are really picky whom we allow into our home. They have come to clean an cream colored silk rug and a light colored modern (expensive) sofa/sleeper. Both items need special treatment and we would NEVER allow a budget company that is unqualified to clean these type of pieces. From the first call we were assured that they are qualified and experienced in high end carpets and furniture. When the guys (2) arrived they were VERY professional and again assured us we would be very pleased with the outcome. That was an understatement for sure !!! We were thrilled with their professionalism and the care taken with our pieces. They were a pleasure to work with and we were thrilled with the overall experience and outcome. When it came time to have these cleaned again a few years later it was a no brainer that we only called Niagara as we knew we would be another wonderful experience and it was. They even followed up to make sure we were happy with how everything turned out and that were were satisfied with the service. You don't get that from a "Groupon" deal provider. They may be a little more that those types but if you have nice furniture and carpets that are an investment why risk ruining them with a cheap service that you would regret later.
