A great time. The zipline was fun and exciting. Do the early bird special if you can. I did it and did the zipline and took the shuttle back up in the span of 10 minutes and beat the crowds. I sprung for the video/photo package, but it seemed like a waste. They take 3 photos at the end, and you can only pick 1, and the video is really just you starting and ending. I expected more. Like multiple photos and more video, but the experience itself was fun. Nonetheless it still was fun and I'd probably do it again if when I come back to Niagara Falls but without the video/phone package. read more

Everything was very easy from purchase to the ride back Only reason for 1 less star is because the worker at the top seemed kind of miserable. Granted it was FREEZING up top. So it's slightly understandable. But the guys at the bottom that help you get unhooked, and the driver were SO nice. We regretted not having cash to tip them. That's how nice they were. OMG. So worth the trip over the bridge. Zip lining The Falls is really just plain fun. It's something for all ages (at least over 7), and will bring out the kid in you. You should make reservations online and fill out their waiver online. It'll save you time when you get there. Don't be late, it's all timed. Wear sneakers or other outside shoes. Don't carry too much, you don't want to have things in your pocket that can fall. Right now this is what you can do, but the park has other attractions coming too. Soon it'll have more options for all to explore, so even if you don't want to zipline there will be something else that interests you. I would to start off with the disclaimer that you don't really zip-line "Over the Falls," you actually zip-line along it. Also, this attraction just started up, so there will be some growing pains and a much longer than expected wait due to the nature of so many people wanting the experience the "cool, new thing." It was VERY busy there, and despite having a reservation at 11:30am I was not harnessed up until well after 1:00pm. Because I was alone, I was expedited up the line to join an odd numbered group. I'm happy they accommodated me, but I really wonder how long my wait truly would have been if I stayed in line! :O From the base of the building up the the top where you get harnessed, there is always a nice view to take photos. The zip-line mechanism itself is a seated one, so there's no need to pull your weigh up or swing your legs: You just sit down and enjoy the ride. Your harness also has a zipped pouch to put all your belongings in, so use it and don't risk having anything fall out of your pocket! I want to assume the ride was about 30-40 seconds long depending on how you position yourself (Check my tip). From what I saw, selfie sticks and GoPros were allowed, but you can't use your cellphone on the ride. Throw it in your pouch. I was informed by the staff that eventually they will offer photo/video services in the near future. If there are any improvements that I could recommend, it's to label the line entrance or the check-in building to segregate those that made reservations from those just walking in. All day the staff had to ask people one-by-one if they made a reservation, and relocate them if they didn't. It was very disorganized and a simple sign would save the staff a lot of time and grief. Overall, for $50, this wasn't a bad ride and view. It's a cool attraction! I'm kind of desensitized to this from the other things I've done, so I didn't find it very "thrilling." I enjoyed the experience, but many of the intricacies made it less special. We thought that making reservations and filling out the waiver online would save time. Boy were we wrong. When we arrived, we had to wait in the same general wait line as everyone else who had not paid or signed a waiver yet. We waited in line for at least 15 minutes, which caused us to be late for our appointed time. Not that that made a difference, it was still first come, first served. When we finally arrived at the window, we were weighed and given a wristband and never asked for our IDs to verify it was our reservation. Then after walking up to the platform we were weighed again and informed that the photographer was not here today. What!? How do you not have a photographer at a tourist attraction?! And we were not allowed to have anything in our hands during the zip line so we couldn't take pics of ourselves while flying. This was infuriating. One the the positive things is that the harness has a backpack that you can put all your belongings in. During the ride, I initially thought that it was slow, but then realized that I wouldn't have wanted to whizz past and not soak in the beauty of Niagara Falls. Again, the experience was outstanding, but the details were faulty. When we finished the ride, we were directed to a shuttle bus that drove us back to the beginning. During the ride, the driver gave us some local site information, I liked learning those facts. I had an amazing time when I went Zip lining across the beautiful falls. I am terrified of heights but found the courage to give this a try. The scariest part was having to put my arms out during the zip line. It does go very fast and it jerked pretty hard at the end. A van took me back to the Canada side after I was done with the zip line. It was an amazing once in a lifetime experience. Would I do it again? Possibly. A 6 pm "reservation" meant get in line at 6pm (not before or you were told to get out) and a 2 hour wait in this line in the hot 95 degree sun - where you'll eventually get a 35 second ride down on the zipline. They get points for a helpful staff and easy online booking. Before my visit I had helpful, courteous and quick communication with various guest experience staff members. I appreciated that. The harnessing staff was good and friendly. However, once on site the lack of attention to guest comfort in the 2 hour line was a deal breaker for me being able to recommend this attraction. Their website states that reserving a time slot, and signing the waiver online will reduce wait time in line. Not true. You are in the same line with people who walked in off the street, as well as those who reserved but didn't sign online waiver. False advertising. Very low bang for your buck. Other than those good bunch of people, I still dont think the rides are worth the money and time. I came here on a long weekend with my family to zipline, we even bought the tickets ahead of time and signed the waivers online to avoid a huge lineup but even with all that being done, we had to wait in line for over 2 hours for a 44 second ride. I mean the view was nice but the price is $50 + more than 2 hours wait in line = not worth it.. at all. You can go up a few set of stairs and pretty much get the same view. We made reservations for the following day - 10am time slot (there was a kiosk at the Visitor Center) for 6 people. (Discounts available between 8-9am and if you have a party of 4). We arrived around 9:30am at the check-in and were told to go sign release forms. They originally said we'd need to wait until our 10am reservation, but the manager said since there was no one in line, we could go a few minutes early. This was very nice, as at 10am there was a line of about 15-20 people behind us and we were only behind 6 people. By 10:10am we were getting ready for our zipline. They have a backpack attached to the harness, so you can put your purse/items in it while zip lining. (The harness smells - FYI) The zip line itself is short and not super fast - but was definitely a great way to see the falls. Great for kids (maybe starting around 7/8), teenagers and adults. When you finish you will get in a van and are taken to your starting point. read more

I was very annoyed by the fact their GoPro was messed up and I couldn't buy the video and photos of my friend and I zip lining but everyone else video worked. I would've bought the video and pictures because I was very excited about coming here. However, I do wish they were a lot more clear on things (suggestion: maybe have a FAQ page on their website) such as what type of camera mounts, straps, etc. are allowed. Zipline - Sit back and enjoy the ride. From the time you arrive at your scheduled reservation time, to the time to actually Zip, is about an hour. I noted the safety for each guest was consistent. This is an enjoyable safe, exhilarating adventure. It's about a minute long and goes by too fast so sit back and enjoy the view. If you plan on video taping, use a GoPro and securely strap it onto your body. You have the option to purchase their video but the quality is not up to my standards. Nobody tells you that you will be stuck down in a filthy trailer for hours before shadow can pick you up. You are not allowed to walk up! No toilet, filth, and the vending machine was off. I was really looking forward to this, but it was not to be. Their website states that the weight limit is 275 pounds. Not a problem, so we purchased tickets ahead of time and made sure our trip itinerary allotted time for it. We arrived, presented our tickets, and they weighed us. No issues. We then traveled up to the top to wait. They weighed us again up there. Again, no issues. After waiting in line for two hours (there were multiple wind delays - not their fault) we were finally brought to the final waiting area and suited up. And we waited some more. THEN we were told that because we were slightly over 225 pounds they could not let us ride because there were slight winds. Wait. What?! "We're nearly 50 pounds UNDER your limit and we cannot ride?!" - "Sorry, but those are the rules", we were told. They should have mentioned these "rules" when they weighed us the FIRST time, before we waited around for over two hours. They did refund our money and apologized, but too little too late. They *knew*, based on their own rules, that we wouldn't be able to ride, and neglected to inform us of this, either on their website, or *before* we waited for so long. No excuse. Had we known ahead of time we would have selected something else to do instead. There's nothing worse than having valuable vacation time wasted! read more

The line was too long of a wait to make this worthwhile. This is not an expensive activity and when we arrived we were told the line was 45 minutes from start to including the end of the ride. This actually became one hour and 40 minutes of waiting. I did this Zipline with my friend and my fiancé a few days ago. The ride down is about 45 seconds long. It's a short ride that rides parallel to the American falls. At no point is a rider over the river, but I was perfectly ok with that. If you are a thrill seeker, this may not be worth your money. I believe it's around $52.00 American dollars with tax if you go after 10AM, but if you buy your ticket before 10AM it's $10.00 off the ticket price. I went before 10Am so I paid $42.00. I have never zip-lined before so I was very nervous to do this. However, I felt very safe/secure in the equipment they provided us. Sadly, there are no GoPros attached to your helmet, but they are working on setting up cameras to capture video/pictures of your ride. However, they are in the process of this and sometimes the cameras fail and you get nothing. Only one camera worked so we got our picture "package" (mostly of my fiancé) for $8.00 (American). This included 1 short video, 1 group shot and take off/landing pictures of my fiancé, because only his camera was working. read more

This is purely for the view, not for adrenaline junkies. And it goes by fast! It is a very cool experience, once you're actually zipping. A few tips that I couldn't find online: you don't have to have closed toed shoes or worry about purses and whatnot. The harness you zip in has a backpack, you just toss your stuff in. You can wear your sunglasses. Our first trip didn't happen due to "high winds"; let's be clear, their version of high winds is a tailwind over 10 kilometers (easy to achieve in the gorge). After any spike over that, they wait 5 minutes to resume. We were literally hanging there waiting to go and cried uncle after a couple of hours. Our return trip was at 8am 2 days later. They ask you to arrive 15 minutes early, which we did but they weren't ready to open. Then we waited while they hauled gear up and whatnot. They were not in a hurry. The New Yorker in me was twitching as they slowly got ready for us (it was at least 8:15 by now), I would have had it all ready to go ahead of time to keep things running smoothly on this big holiday weekend. The staff is friendly and it's a cool experience. I think they could be slightly less conservative with wind speed (or at least the full 5 minute wait afterward) and a little more punctual. It goes by so fast, it would be cool if they offered a second zip at a discount. Also, I would have bought a picture of the four of us zipping had it been offered (sometimes they have a photographer) or rented a GoPro if they had it. read more

There was little guidance on where to buy the tickets. You have to walk nearly a block away to get the tickets. You sign the waiver, and wait for another line to buy the tickets. It looks like ages 7+ were allowed to do this activity. Little guidance and very little help on a Sunday morning to do this. After buying the tickets I stood outside for nearly 10 minutes to wait for someone to guide me up to the zipline area. The whole process of getting to the zip-line took over one hour! When you finally go down the zip-line it lasted less than a minute. Totally unacceptable for the price we paid ($60 per person)!!!! You get a view of the falls to your left, but you actually go down the wooded area along the rocks. You don't really go THROUGH the falls. For the price, they should really make the process easier and faster. It was a beautiful view going down though. read more

First you either reserve the tickets online or go to the booth, which is a mistake because you then have to go back online and fill out a form for everyone in your group. You then have to go to their other booth early in the morning and get a wrist band for a specific time of the day you can ride the zip line. If you don't come early, you might not even get your tickets until the next day, even though you already paid your money. Went ziplining with my 12 year old cousin, and we had a blast! The rides have attached backpacks where you can store any belongings. They provide shuttle service from the landing spot to the main entrance. it cost $50 per person but you get an awesome view of the falls, and of course the thrill of ziplining at up to 45mph! read more

The ziplining portion is shorter than the amount of time you spend waiting in line and waiting for the shuttle at the bottom to bring you back up. It takes almost 30 minutes for the shuttle to come back down. They should really consider running multiple shuttles. Don't think it's reasonable to pay this amount of money to be kept waiting for MORE THAN 30 minutes at the bottom AFTER the actual ziplining portion. Also the 9pm slot may make you miss the fireworks show due to waiting for the shuttle. read more

Instead what they should do is talk about the history of the falls if or when we are waiting to go. Zip lining the falls was such an incredible experience I just wished it had lasted longer. It really is a shame that you pay all this money for an experience that is 20 seconds long. We decided to go to the pre grand opening and everyone seemed completely disorganized. We scheduled a reservation for 9:30am we arrived there early and waited in line till about 10am. While waiting in line we noticed that people who arrived after us were moving ahead well come to find out the employees were telling people in the back that if they had a reservation they can move to the front well they failed to make this aware to anyone in the front of the line so we had to wait longer. When we finally made it through the employees were standing around while telling the guest to pass out the helmets to the other guests. Last time I checked I paid to be there not the other way around the people standing around doing nothing should have been proactive and walked around to give guests their helmets. This place lacked communication between employees and lack of drive to do their job. read more

Not happy with this outfit. My wife and I went there this past Tuesday after so many people told us how cool the zip line was, for us it was a once in a lifetime experience. All of their advertisements said "Make sure you check out our zip-line photo system and purchase your photos at the landing". They took our money but failed to mention that the photographer was off sick that day, no photos available. We wouldn't have done the zip line if we knew that, maybe that's why they didn't advise customers before they signed up for the ride. Wildplay was overall an experience that was good just because of the 30 second ride of fun. The staff were all pretty lackluster. There was a really rude French lady that instructed the helmets. It was over priced in my opinion. However, you pay and deal with all of it because of the ride. You then have to wait for a shuttle to take you up the ramp. We waited 10 minutes in the rain.
