Wanted to support this all vegan restaurant while passing through Syracuse. Easily placed an order online through their Square site. They were out of a couple items which were clearly marked. I got the Chicky Baby and Buck sandwiches. Both delicious. Huge fluffy biscuits. House made sausage and chick'n. Local cheese. Just egg. Creatives sauces that hit the spot. The Buck was most unique with jalapeno sausage, egg, cheese, and spicy strawberry jam. Yum! They had some creative coffee drinks too. Everything is 100% vegan! I'll be back on my next trip.

Wow! What an awesome place! I've been wanting to try this for breakfast for a while now after hearing such great things and I'm so glad I did! I really like that everything is vegan as someone who used to be vegan I think it's great to have some options around Syracuse. My coffee was AMAZING! Some of the best coffee i've had in a long time and I can't wait to try some other coffees on their menu. I really want to try their strawberry milk cold brew but they were out today. I tried the rambler and it is huge, filling, smells so good, and tastes even better! I'm not a huge fan of the fake bacon but again, it's great to have a spot with vegan options. Everyone who works here is amazing as well! You order at the window and they come out and deliver it to your car. Today was a cold snowy day, with snow banks taking over the sidewalks and they are all still out here delivering down the street right up until close. I told the man who brought the food to my car how amazing he is and he said I was amazing for coming out - such a great attitude as well! I will definitely be coming back!

Sometimes when you have an amazing meal, the memory makes any time after lackluster. Nice Biscuit is the exception to the rule: she gets better every time! Visiting from Rochester and Nice Biscuit is THE reason we make an actual day trip out of Syracuse. We ordered ahead to ensure we would have exactly what we wanted and nothing would be out of stock. We were greeted at the window with a smile and an "enjoy the great food!" We got to our car and dove in. The Chicky Baby is out of this world (shout out for including wet naps!). The tofu is crunchy but doesn't taste like fry oil, I have NO idea how a vegan biscuit can be so flaky, and adding the cowboy candy really set it over the top. Pistachio cold brew is not too sweet and just the right balance of chocolate and pistachio. The sweetie bun was a spur of the moment addition and it did NOT disappoint. The lemon is zingy, the pistachio is divine, and the sweet dough melted in your mouth. Already dreaming/drooling about my next visit!!!

Finally made it to Nice Biscuit! It's an adorable little storefront where they take your order at the window. I got there 15 to close and it was BUSY, and understandably so after trying their biscuit sandwich and latte. First, let me say I am NOT vegan or even vegetarian for that matter. With that said, you'd never know their menu items are if you were blind taste testing. I got one of their special item biscuits that had egg, Cajun sauce, and sweet jalapenos along with their molasses latte. Together I paid just under $20. The latte was such a treat, delightful from start to finish and the biscuit was tasty and filling! If you're ever in the area, this is definitely worth the stop, vegan or not!

Walk up window only! Though, the staff was very kind when I accidentally walked in! If you are biscuit obsessed, like myself, you've got to try Nice Biscuit. The quality and care is evident. The sandwiches are fantastic, no matter your eating preferences. P.S. get a donut du jour with your order, you won't regret it!!

The yummies breakfast sandwich around! Sweet, buttery, flaky, salty, crunchy. Must try. Go. Now.

A friend of mine who eats meat recommended this place. I only eat biscuits like once a year because I try to eat healthy but I thought we are going to Green Lake State Park. I thought let's stop by. Most vegetarian and vegan stuff is just two healthy tasting for the average person so I knew this would probably be a nice rich treat. It was delicious. I got the chicken sandwich and it was really good. The only thing is it was a little too sweet for me so next time I would just have them skip the sauce. That's a matter of preference. My daughter got an egg and bacon sandwich on a biscuit and she also felt it was a little bit too sweet. She could do the same thing, cut the sauce down. My husband got a chorizo and egg and loved it. Okay. We also got oat milk molasses lattes and they were delicious. They were really friendly and they were very busy. I will be back!

Truly a hidden gem. This is a great little spot where you walk up to the order window, place your order, and wait in your car (at least in the winter)! The person who took our order graciously brought our items to the car. We each got a sandwich. Mine was The Buck - so cutely wrapped and each sandwich has its own little sticker to go with it. The biscuits were fantastic, not too dry, there was a nice amount of spice and I really wouldn't have known that the egg and cheese parts are vegan! We also had a cookie butter donut which was incredible. Will absolutely be back and I'm excited to show this spot to my out-of-town friends.

Wish I could have finished it.

Boy do I miss being down south. I was thinking these biscuits were going to be all that. Nope, the biscuits were very very salty .They had no grape jam or jelly. At least the wait wasn't long. This was my second time going hoping it would be better. I don't recommend for my family.

Nice biscuit looked gold on Yelp and it didn't disappoint on a Sat am. You pull up (street parking, there was plenty) go to a window and place your order for a yum vegan breakfast sandwich. You get a choice of cheese and sauce. My husband and I both choose the sandwich with a maple "sausage" and "egg" can't remember the name but I had "cheddar" and strawberry jam and he got "pepper jack" no sauce then we shared the potatoes (homemade thick fries) we drove over to a ShopRite that had a Starby and got iced teas and settled in to our car to enjoy the yum. The sandwich is a thick boi and I couldn't finish mine he devoured his and the "sausage" had a great fennel flavor while the "eggs" to me tasted a bit mustardy. We would hit it up again for sure on a return trip to Syracuse. The biscuits are stellar!

A morning breakfast in May inspired Evan Furey to create and become co-owner of NICE Biscuit. Waking up earlier than usual one day, he created a vegan sausage and biscuit meal for him and his girlfriend, Cristen Crew. As they ate, they started to dream about giving Syracuse a biscuit-based business with a Southern influence. By dinnertime the idea turned into a full fledged plan with business name and the beginnings of a logo. Furey said the goal of NICE Biscuit was to deliver hot breakfast, smiles, and comfort to people working hard from home during unprecedented and uncertain times. Furey is no stranger to the food business after working in restaurants for over 16 years and being a co-owner of a food truck in Austin, Texas. Two weeks after that fateful plate of biscuits and gravy, the couple launched their online presence on Instagram @nicebiscuitsyr and teased their upcoming business to gain followers and opened the following June. Now I'll admit...I didn't realize this was a vegan place when I went. Had I, being a meat eater, I may not have gone. I was looking for a new place to grab some breakfast on a rare weekday off between appointments and their menu looked amazing, so I went. I also didn't realize it was walk up only. Clearly, I did not do my homework on this one. But, the person who took my order was very friendly and told me she'd bring my order to my car when it was ready. It did take a bit, 15-20 minutes before I got my order, but a wait is never a problem for me when it comes to fresh food being made. I ordered The Wrangler, a vegan chorizo patty with American cheese, vegan egg, and spicy chipotle sauce on a biscuit along with a side of their potato wedges that come with their homemade DANG sauce. It came to about $17 for the order. I enjoyed the sandwich. The vegan chorizo had good flavor, but I didn't love the texture, but that's simply the nature of most vegan meat replacements. The fresh made biscuit was delicious, soft and fluffy but also substantial enough to keep the sandwich together. The sauce was alright but I definitely could've used more of it on the sandwich. The star for me though was the potato wedges. Holy frick, the wedges. They have to be the best potato wedges I've ever tasted in my life. They were PERFECTLY cooked, had amazing flavor, and I dunno what's in the DANG sauce, but I could drink it. It was delicious and I'd honestly go back just for the wedges. Overall, I enjoyed the meal even though a vegan meal was something different for me and I'd recommend everyone give it a try.

Food is actually AMAZING so filling and comforting. The sandwiches are huge i had to unlock my jaw to bite into it in the best way? Had the chicky baby with honey butter, fried jalapeños and bacon add on and the apple latte! Usually skeptical going to new vegan places but they impressed for sure. Such nice staff too would definitely make the trip again

Firstly, the space is amazing! It's bright, open, and inviting with plenty of seating. Secondly, staff are very friendly and helpful! And thirdly, their food is amazing! I'm not vegan but their food is genuinely delicious. We ordered the loaded nachos, chicken parm sandwich, and the sweet sassy molassey sandwich, chocolate mint milkshake and a green tea. The half order of loaded nachos was generous in size and toppings! It was filling without being heavy. All of the ingredients were fresh. Probably one of my top loaded nachos ever. The chicken parm sandwich was also amazing! If I didn't know this was a vegan restaurant, I would not have known that the chicken was not meat. It had the texture of perfectly cooked chicken. The stretch bread was soft, the marinara was warm and perfectly seasoned. 10/10 sandwich. The sweet sassy molassey was also quite good! Very bright, filled with vegetables and deliciously seasoned tofu. Finally, the milkshake! I would have never guessed it was vegan. It was creamy, minty, and chocolatey - like drinking thin mints! The Evergreen's menu itself is accessed through a QR code where their full list of options and specials are listed. My group opted to share the beer fries and they were taaaasty, pillowy soft, crunchy, and amazingly well seasoned. The vegetarian options are a regular part of the restaurant and the fried tofu I had was genuinely satisfying and well done. My cajun pasta was maybe a touch over but I was okay with it since it had my condiment obsession of chili crisp in it. The menu is well marked for dietary needs. A great thing of note is that they have women's, men's, AND an all-gender bathroom. I appreciate the inclusion in the food and restaurant itself. The sweet & spicy smokey sauce that was provided with it was a bit tangy. I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me! You'll definitely have to taste it for yourself. The burnt end chicharrones left more to be desired. Both my partner and I thought they were dry and not tender. Also, there was something about the flavor that we did not care for. I absolutely love burnt ends from BBQ joints, and this was the first time we've ordered chicharrones so I don't have something to compare them to, but I'd suggest trying them elsewhere. As for the brussels, when we first got to the restaurant our friends were sharing them. We tried one bite and knew we had order a whole plate for ourselves! They were literally the best brussel sprouts we've ever had. The roasted garlic aioli and grana cheese were topped on perfectly cooked brussels which I would go back for. I highly suggest checking out The Evergreen, go through their beer menu, and find a new favorite plate.

Walking through the restaurant was nice as the space was very large and the decor indoor was cozy and whimsical. Our server was nice throughout the meal. I asked them if they could get me a clean cup and they ended up bringing the same one as the same mark and crumb were still there. For food, our table ordered a few items to share. We got: -CAULIFLOWER WINGS: The chutney/salsa on top of the fried cauliflower was nice and gave the item a little sour kick. However, the cauliflower itself was not cooked fully so not as soft as I wanted it to be. -SYRACUSE POUTINE: The appearance of the poutine was not the best. However, the gravy it came with was very flavorful and tasty. The potatoes themselves were not fried and were in wedge form but went well with the gravy. The small globs of melted cheese on top were a nice complement. -CAJUN SLIDERS: The slider compliments/sauce went well together but the sliders themselves had grill marks on it which gave a bitter bite to those parts of the slider. Additionally, the fried shrimp inside of the slider still had the tail on and so it was a bit of a surprise to bite into a full tail while eating a slider. All in all, a cute spot to see people but food had some hit or miss components.
