The three employees who were present were professional and highly competent. I brought my own polish for my toes. I wanted a complementary shade for my fingers. In spite of the hundreds of shades, they have on hand, they didn't have a great match to the toenail polish I brought in. Mia who did my nails, found something close but after a few layers she wasn't completely happy with it (I was actually OK with it.) She found another sheer shade to layer on top to get the perfect shade. I'm very pleased with my custom color! Overall, a fantastic experience. I normally am not one to write a more constructive review to a small business but I personally didn't enjoy my experience here. I don't get my nails done often anymore but when I do, I typically expect the person doing my nails to do a decent job. The owner and most of the workers were nice and they have a lot of chairs as well as colors to choose them. The person who did my feet was fine but the older lady with glasses who did my hands probably needs some practice on using the tools (which is why I at least gave 2 stars). I've had people use the electric nail filing/drill before and accidentally hit my skin and not do it again. Instead, this lady kept the file/drill on my skin for a while until I couldn't bear it anymore and had to yank my hands away. This happened multiple times, maybe a total of 7 times and almost on every single nail. I would pull away, she'd look at me upset, and keep going. When I went to go and wash my hands, the area she kept hitting with the file/drill would sting because she ripped off the skin and caused mini cuts. I was bleeding a little in two spots. I should have told her not to do that but at the time I was just more shocked and thought she'd get the hint after I pulled away the first 3 times. I felt anxious the rest of the time she used the file/drill. Also this was the first time I got dip nails. Maybe idk what they should look like but it looks dry and like there's air pockets on the side. Once she finished with my nails she was watching the other girls so maybe she was in training? But still, I think having my skin ripped and given cuts that many times repeatedly without taking a hint is not the most fun. For almost $100, I personally don't think it's worth it. My friend came with me and hers turned out great though and she didn't get the file/drill on her skin. So maybe it was just that one lady. Maybe if you go, just ask for the younger girl she had, she was great. read more

Severely unimpressed with this salon. They charged me $80 for a manicure without touching my cuticles and a couple very poorly drawn hearts on four of my nails. She didn't even apply lotion afterward. Seemed to be rushing the entire time even though the salon was empty. They looked so bad I had to go to another salon immediately afterwards to get them fixed. They took me in last minute and I was impressed with the detail and how quick the techs were with the entire process. I just love this nail bar! It's located on Aurora in a plaza with plenty of parking. I was greeted and taken care of by the owner I believe. She has a great demeanor and was very attentive. I came in for an acrylic removal and shellac toe polish removal. Now I usually get a lot of push back from other nail salons because I think they just rather spend their time doing something other than removing. I know it's not a fun job. But my acrylics (from a diff salon) were really bothering me and I really appreciate that my nail tech understood that. She removed the old acrylic and shellac in a safe manner (without damaging my nail beds). She cut my cuticles cleanly, was super detailed, and she gave wonderful leg and arm massages. Her paint job was superb- I just love a classic clean mani & pedi. The ambiance of the nail bar is peaceful. It's exceptionally clean, well-stocked, with tons of nail colors. I've been here a bunch of times before the pandemic and always had a great experience, this is my first time in a nail salon in 2 years so it is really worth a review. Appointments are easily made in the Yelp messaging system, they responded very quickly with availability. The inside has changed, instead of the original static chairs and sinks, they now have massage chairs with the circulating foot baths. Everything seemed really clean and neat. My pedicure was pretty thorough, could've used a little bit more nail shaping but the cuticle cleaning was great and massage was also good. Polish application was really well done and I also got nail art. Prices are still very competitive. This is my favorite nail salon in Shoreline by far. I love this place! The workers are all really sweet and they pay attention to small details. I have even come in last minute and they find time to squeeze me in and still do a great job. I've been disappointed the last two visits to this salon. I came to get my dip nails removed and they didn't fully remove everything and the process still damaged my nails. :( Also, I came to get my nails done yesterday and while the lady was very sweet and nice, she cut my nails really short around the ends and they're hurting me now. Also she made my big toe bleed also during my pedicure. She also filed my nails over my pants... so that didn't feel very clean. They're trying to ensure safe practices during covid which is good but it feels random. They make everyone sign a form upon entry and they even have the transparent walls but they don't use it for everyone. Unfortunately I'll have to find a new nail spot now. read more

I used to get regular manicures a few times a year. Last year, I decided to start getting gel manicures because my hands are always in food pictures and videos on Instagram. I had a short list of places I wanted to try out and Polish'd was one of them. When I started coming, there was a change in ownership but it was so close to my house, I decided to give it a try. I've been coming here ever since! Parking is a breeze with plenty of spots in the lot. I've had more success dropping in here than other places during off peak times. You can schedule an appointment on Yelp and Nancy is very responsive. Nancy does an impeccable job on my nails. She is very detail oriented with cuticles, which is one of my problem areas. She's very nice and happy to talk or be quiet. Sometimes I'm chatty and other times I just want to stare at the TV. I'm a grown woman and I'll be honest and say that I can't stay in the lines and paint my own nails. Nancy does them perfectly! On my last trip, she asked me if I wanted to try a different polish. I usually get a regular color but have been making my way through the rainbow. This one was DND Cat Eyes Collection and I'm in love! It starts with black base coats, then a metallic color (whichever you choose), then she takes a magnet to make a pattern. Wanna know the best part? The regular price for a gel manicure is $30! If I pick a polish that is going to cost more, Nancy always lets me know ahead of time. I'm a sucker for chrome and anything a little sparkly, but not too sparkly. Made an appointment on yelp and the owner responded to me no longer than 1 hour after I asked for an availability. Absolutely love the ambiance when I arrived; the owner greeted me along with a area already set up for my appointment. My appointment took approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The owner was fast and precise with her work and made sure I liked the way she shaped my nails throughout the whole filing of the nails process. There were no problems during the appointment other than me tensing up however, every time I tensed up she politely asked me to relax.
