I have never ever liked a nail tech so much to the point that I write a review. my Nail Tech name was Jennifer. she was so friendly to me from the time that I arrived and was great to make small talk with. My retention is so clean. The way she filed my nails, I didn't get a single scar near my cuticle either. There was barely any need for cleaning up and filing in the end either. Usually, when somebody does your nails and applies extensions, most Nail Tech that I've gone to, will get their nail extensions stuck onto my own skin. This time with Jennifer, she cut my nail down as short as possible, which I was so scared would make the extensions gel go and stick onto my skin, but even though it was cut so short, she didn't even have to separate my skin from sticking to the extension. Although this was a simple set, I was in and out in 40 minutes. I am so happy with my results that I will be coming back again. Her application method for the gel polish was also very fast and clean. there wasn't even a little bit of polish stuck on my cuticle in the end that required cleaning either. read more

I had a good experience at Nice Nails but the overall nail work was just ok. They took a same day appointment for 2 mani pedis. Comfortable experience and quick service, staff is really nice. My sister in laws tech did a phenomenal job on her gel mani. Like Russian manicure quality clean lines and excellent cuticle work. My nail tech was more casual and not as detailed so my nails started lifting after only a week and a half (I knew they would, I could tell from right after they were done they wouldn't last long). I went with my friend for a relaxing day, and it was anything BUT relaxing. The lady at the front desk was rude the entire time, screaming at everyone. Then the woman who did my nails got SO upset when I asked her to fix a nail that came out crooked. She told me it was the shape of my nail, even though I've never had this problem before. My poor friend had to wait almost 2 hours because the manager was working with three different people at the same time. Honestly, a shame. DO NOT GO to this place. Save your time, your money, and your energy. TERRIBLE. read more

I came across this place before the holidays but a lady who's table is the first chair to the left she has white clear glasses, and the side trims are blue. She is so rude and has a nasty attitude. I personally request May to do my nails because she cleans my cuticles which are not easy to do. Today she did a gel X and I was really impressed and I wanted share with everyone. I'm giving three stars because my first couple of times coming here, I got beautiful nails. However, I was making appointments using their website, but two separate times, I got a call or text the day of asking if I could move my appointment to hours later. The last time I went there, my gel X extension fill was bumpy, uneven, and didn't go all the way to the sides of my nails. Will not be going back. read more

Then on top of that challenging a coupon that emailed to me that was to expire in 7 days . Then accused my daughter of not being under 12. This place is outrageously overpriced. I was charged $100 for a French acrylic set with flowers and $90 for a Gel-X manicure with French tips and a colored line--not including tip. The technician added multiple unexpected charges at the end, none of which were disclosed when I inquired about pricing beforehand. Considering the final result, the quality was mediocre at best. You can absolutely find better service elsewhere for a much more reasonable price. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed and won't be returning. read more

But the pain is tolerable and worth the final result! 2) How long did it take? I let my brows grow out for nearly 6 weeks before I came to my threading appointment. The appointment took MAYBE 15 minutes... and my brows came out in the best shape they've ever been. 3) Cost? On this visit, I paid $20 for the brow threading and and extra $10 for a roller tube of castor oil to promote healthy hair growth plus a 20% tip because she deserved it--my brows truly still look amazing and I'm already almost 3 weeks out from my appointment. Then my boyfriend moved to San Carlos, very close to the little shopping center where this place is. So I decided to check it out. I walked in the door and everyone greeted me with a smile. They offered me water or tea. I told them what I wanted and the woman got right to business. She took her time to make sure they were what I wanted. While the nails were drying, she gave me a massage, which felt GREAT. In the end I was very happy. It is a nice price too. $35 for acrilic french tips. After that I continued to go there. They sometimes give out coupons that you can use for the next visit. Another time i went there I wanted to gte some sort of design and the same woman came up with an amazing design. It was very pretty. I am actually going there today to get acrilics with black tips...just in time for Halloween! This is one of the very few places that I was happy with the results. From the start, the staff was rude and dismissive--not what you'd expect from a place that promises relaxation. I had specifically asked for a stronger massage, and not only did they not listen, they brushed off my request entirely. Ironically, they promised a better massage than other places nearby, but what I got was rushed and careless. The entire experience felt cold and transactional. I went to this salon with a friend, and we were both really disappointed with the experience. First, they made us wait for over an hour before even starting, which was frustrating. When they finally began, the results were incredibly poor. My friend's gel nails started popping off the same day. When we called to ask what happened, they casually said the gel was expired . seriously?! She went back to get it fixed, and guess what? It popped off again. As for my nails, they did a rushed and messy job. On top of that, they painted two of my nails a completely different color than the rest. Definitely not coming back here.
