I came here a couple of times before and they were good. But today, it's different. I asked for a gel mani. The woman who usually does my nails didn't remember me anymore and passed me off to someone else. It kinda sucks. She was rushing, but there was no other customers in the shop but me. My nails weren't filed evenly, the gel looks rough and lumpy, especially where I can clearly see the cuticle area she didn't thoroughly clean, and there are obvious spaces where my nail didn't get covered by the gel. Such a disappointment! The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because I also got a lip and chin wax, which another lady did. She was polite and took her time. I was a repeat customer, but it looks like I won't be returning. I'm not happy with what I got, but lesson learned. read more

Always love going here! They all remember me and are very friendly. They know how to keep a conversation going and they all brighten up my mood! The price you pay is great and the turn out of my nails are always bomb!! And if you accidentally mess your nail up while it's drying, they have no problem fixing it for you before you leave. Shady business and dirty tools. Beware of the owner (or wife of owner) who sets very poor example to the employees. And almost all their massage chairs do not work, it's extremely uncomfortable to sit in one of these. So I went in and ask for a pedicure, they sat me in this broken massage chair and shrugged when I asked to switch... so half way through, the owner said they're closing and asked me to pay. I told her that the chair wasn't working, and she demanded me to get up and switch to another chair. Yes because she's afraid that I'm asking for a discount! Um.. I can't move because my toe nails are being painted?? I gave her my credit card, and then she kept forcing me to sign it, right then and there... I cannot believe that she would do such thing.. That was absolutely rude and unnecessary. Want to know the worse part? My nails was infected and chipped away after a week because obviously, their equipments were not clean!! read more

The representative did not display genuine concern for our comfort. The immediate response was asking for full payment, suggesting that people might have walked out. The most painful acrylic full-set I've ever received. It felt like she was over-drilling the nail bed layers and I started getting scared that pretty soon there would be no more nail left. I also came in for a wax and there were a lot of strays leftover and the hairs started regrowing after two days, which normally doesn't happen to me, which makes me question their technique. I think that maybe they didn't completely pull the hair from the root and they just sort of just used tweezers to clip the hairs that stayed behind which explains the regrowth after 2 days. Would not go again unless I liked torturing my nails. read more

I hit them up on an occasional Saturday when I'm around home & feel that $20 is a small price to pay for pretty nails. Over the past 2 years I have always been very pleased. Let me just say first off that I am very picky about the appearance of acrylics/gel nails. If it weren't for the broad/flattish appearance of my french tips, I would have been more inclined to give this place a 4 or 5. The people who work there are super nice and friendly, I talked with the owner (I think she was the owner, she was the only one not doing nails) the entire time I was there about her escapades in Japan with her daughter. She was pretty hilarious and seemed to know a lot of the other women getting pedicures, which leads me to believe this place has a lot of "regulars." To me, that's always a good sign for a nail place. The massage chair was different than most - instead of just being a back vibrator, it actually had "roll/knead/tap" options, which was nice, but I feel like it had to have been difficult for the woman doing my nails cause I was jerking all over the place! Everything was clean, very friendly, and after 2 weeks (plus a drunken weekend in Vegas) my pedicure is still 95% intact. Pretty good for the low prices. The pedicure could definitely have been more pampering, and I have definitely had more effective treatments (I think my feet are ugly and an "awesome pedicure" usually improves my views on the situation.) I would definitely go back, but I think I'm gonna check out some of the other places in the area first, I was not happy at all with the appearance of my acrylics (although its probably only noticable to me.) read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. Not to go into details as long as you don't get a certain person ( i think she is the wife of the owner) you are good. They are a bit feisty there as well. Once i asked the lady not to cut my nails and she was arguing with me but still did a decent job. That wife did my nails twice and when i would get home i would redo it . Instead of nice and even layer of nail polish she would just pile it up on tip of my nails, and when i told her that its unacceptable she told me i had big cuticles. I have couple more friends that went to the salon and they all had the same experience with her. read more

I don't mind the service in general. They do pretty good nails, but not anything extrodinary. I've had my eyebrows waxed here as well, and again the job is decent. My gripe is that when you use your debit or credit card at this establishment, they automatically add the tip in, even if you pay the tip in cash. So basically you are paying a DOUBLE TIP. I called the owner, she told me that the bank automatically does this with her shop. Why does this only happen at her shop????? I use my debit card EVERYWHERE at a million different salons, and have never been automatically charged a tip! The owner says the tip will reverse in a couple of days, I still think it is shady business. They are basically ripping off people who don't double check their statements and chose to pay their tip in cash! Beware if you are using a debit or credit card. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE MK! Their clean, quick, and do AMAZING work! I've been going here for about 3 months now, and they never cease to amaze me. Em does my solar fills (white tip with pink base) and does an amazing job every time! I've had pedicures by a couple of people and they always do a great job. Also, they give wonderful massages. I've been going to MK for a few years. I initially went there because of the convenient location and the reasonable price. I've since moved but go back periodically. I was there last Saturday for a mani/pedi and was real happy with John's work. He told me the new spa chairs are built not to recirculate water to avoid fungus and infections. I'm a bit of a germaphobe so I was real excited to hear this! If anyone has info on these new chairs, please share. read more

This salon has turned me into a girlie girl. First the twinkle toes, then the glitter fingers, and next thing you know I'm wearing skirts! The salon is clean, prices are great. Pedicures last for a month! There's a tv, and I don't feel the pressure to strike up conversation. What more could you ask for? Decent nail salon with a good selection of OPI colors. The massage chair was temperamental and didn't seem to like me, though it worked for everyone else. The staff was courteous, not too chatty - which was a plus for me. The place seemed clean enough. And the mani/pedi was priced well at $30. The thing I didn't like was that the mani/pedi didn't last long for me (although I'm admittedly rough on my nails) and in the middle of my session, the technician stopped working on my nails to start on someone else's (the other customer seemed to be a regular that was in a hurry, but still...).
