What a shame when the first experience I've had with them in August 21, 2016 was a pleasant one. I would give negative stars if I could. I'm completely appalled with the customer service and quality of work I've received. Monday evening as I was leaving a client's house my phone dropped face down onto their hardwood floors and half of my screen went black while the other half showed the OS was okay. I still used Siri to play music and GPS me back home. (NOTE: My phone had the screen protector I was given from this company back in August and still shattered) I decided to come here because I had been here before and it was near my new office. I came here on my lunch break Tuesday January 11 around 1pm. I went to the one near the ferris wheel (NOTE: All the kiosks are the SAME company), he was giving me a hard time quoting me $180 and not budging when I actually had a quote of $135 with the LCD replacement included by CELL PHONE REPAIR MISSION VIEJO (where I plan on going in the future). I went to John at the other Smart Repair kiosk to see if in fact it was the same company as that was the kiosk I went to in August. He repaired it, asked for 20 minutes and did it for $140. The second I received it I noticed a color change on the screen but the touch screen worked and I was late to return to work so I accepted it. Later that night I went to finish some errands after work. It was raining a bit and I had my umbrella on me carrying some bags inside. I went inside my home and saw that there were very pixilated lines on the screen and suddenly color spots were forming and my phone started to have a mind of its own. Pressing numbers, opening apps, closing apps, calling siri - etc. I was so peeved! All I wanted was for my phone to work, and could not imagine the issue as I had gotten the phone fixed less than 12 hours beforehand. I read on here there was a 3 month warranty. So the next morning when my phone continued to not work I waited until my lunch break anxiously to revisit the kiosk to have it replaced. John said he could not replace it or touch it as when he opened my phone he saw water droplets on my phone. (Ok...how would you install a screen/LCD so it can easily allow water droplets in the first place??? There must have been an installation issue) He blamed it on Apple's design (I've never had water damage with an IPhone I've owned and i've had iPhones since the iPhone 4. This was a 6s. And I'm not the most graceful of individuals. It's not Apple's design issue) He told me to come back in 2 days and to buy a new screen replacement for them. Whoa whoa whoa. Don't you have some sort of warranty, especially since I'm coming to you within 24 hours of you installing it? "No. We do not cover water damage" The water damage occurred...because of your installation ERRORS. I left the mall heartbroken and disappointed. Save your money. Save your time. Take your phone elsewhere! read more

I had a screen replaced a few days ago and was having issues with it. I do not live close by so going back was going to be difficult. Onur I believe is the owner and when I messaged him through here explaining the issues he said it's likely I got a defective screen and they would replace it at no charge. Due to living over 35 min away we asked if we could get my old screen put back on so that in case the issue continued I could take it back to Apple with its original parts&pieces. Anu said he would gladly put my old screen back on and refund me. I was shocked to get a full refund after the installation. However this proves they stand by their work and are willing to make their customers happy even in the rare circumstance of having a defective screen. You can't beat good customer service these days and to me this is everything. I highly recommend them. Nothing better than knowing someone backs up their work & is there to help you and make sure YOU are satisfied with their work. They are right in front the giant weel. Fast, Professional (not to mention very nice) and reasonable prices. Great service. I took a phone in for a screen repair after receiving a quote via yelp. First off, they were quick to respond with a quote after I requested one along with a photo of the phone. Second, they honored the pricing I was given based off photos and didn't try to charge me more. When I took the phone in for repair I was told 45 minutes, which I was fine with. Unfortunately, it did take longer than that due to other phone repairs, which I was completely fine with as I was not in a rush and let's face it, repairing a phone is difficult and time consuming with all the small parts, so the longer wait time for me didn't bother me at ALL :). The gentlemen that were there were super friendly, apologetic for taking longer than expected and the screen repair turned out fantastic. I took my iPhone here after I ruined my screen (it wasn't cracked or anything, I was trying to fix the black screen myself but I tore the cables in the process lol) and I didn't think that my phone could be fixed but Peter worked his magic and he fixed it! He explained everything to me before he did anything, as I am clueless with this stuff, and he was done within 40-45 minutes. Very responsive, and with reasonable rates for a cracked iPhone screen! I requested the quote on Yelp, got a response almost right away, and then just used text messages to set up an appointment. It was easy to schedule the mobile service, where he drove to my home and fixed the phone in his car for a fair price. If it weren't for all of the anti-mask morons haunting the mall these days, I might have gone to the booth at Irvine Spectrum to save 15 bucks. But then I probably would have spent most of my savings on ice cream or boba or whatever. I really want to give this place a great review. Had my iPhone7 screen replaced. The original person didn't offer me an original Apple screen. So I guess I was paying for a non-Apple Aftermarket screen. When I got home, I noticed my screen was freezing up and wouldn't respond to my touch at times. Very frustrating, especially when I rely on my phone for my Bluetooth heating aids. Tired to get the screen replaced, but the kiosk was no longer at the Spectrum due to the construction. Well,I called and Ali came over to the Spectrum to fix it. Now it's working and I'm pretty ok with it. Ali is great. Wonderful service. When I got home i realized the color of the screen was dull, so within the 2 month warranty I took it back to get it replaced. The guy working wanted to charge me $50 extra and would not replace my screen protector without an extra $15 charge. Terrible service and unreliable prices.
