I've been coming to Larry's for years for only cheesesteaks though. Some months ago, of course on TikTok, a video began going viral about a Cooper Sharp Cheesesteak Detroit-style Pizza. Just the mention of Cooper sharp and deep dish, sold me!!! I was finally able to get there this past Saturday. When I went in it was a line. The small parking lot was packed. There's street parking but it's metered and the parking Authority does walk up and down the street so be mindful. I believe you can park on Levick and not be timed. I found out that I got the last one of two pizzas!!! This pizza is very very popular and their phone lines are always busy, so keep trying to call if you like while the pizzas are running out. I suggest just going there when they first open. I also found out that you could pre-order the night before, make payment and pick up the next day at your convenience. They only make a limited amount of pizzas and the in-store availability is based on how many pre-sale orders they receive. I believe they only make like 30 to 40 pizzas. The pizza takes a while to make, and I was told that in advance because they have to put it through the oven like three times. The total for the pizza and two sodas was $32.19. Yes it's a little pricey, but hey demand that's the reason but I was OK with that because it tasted really delicious. I feel like I hit the lottery by getting the last one of two! When I got home and sat down and tasted the pizza. It was delicious. Hot, crispy and tasty!!! I The hype was real. It comes with a pizza sauce for about eight square pieces. I suggest getting extra sauces to accommodate the number of people who will be eating the pizza it's a dollar extra for each cup. The sauce was very flavor less but the pizza made up for it. I really wish they would do more with the sauce and that would take it over. The top. This is dangerous because I don't live far from here and I'm gonna have to limit this to maybe once every quarter to save my waist!! . I hope you like it as much as I did and if you did not, I would like to hear back as to why they do offer other things besides this pizza which has always been on the menu I was told it just wasn't popular until now. read more

Today was the office lunch meeting, and everyone wanted to try the Detroit-style deep dish cheese steak pizza. Just so EVERYONE knows, there is ONLY 1 deep dish pizza order allowed per person. Yes, you read that correctly. Larry's is located on a VERY busy corner. There is a parking lot, but it's busy at lunchtime. There are tables and chairs if you'd prefer to dine in, but it's definitely more of a takeout/grab and go kind of place. In addition to the deep dish cheese steak pizza, we also ordered the Mega fries with provolone, mozzarella, cheddar, and bacon. It also came with some ranch dressing. They were VERY tasty. My only gripe with the fries is that the cheese was only at the top and not through each fork full. Nonetheless, still very good. You should definitely try them. 5/5 The deep dish cheese steak pizza had an excellent crunch. It had good flavor. The cheese had a very nice browning on top, and the steak was tender. Although everyone thought it was good. Here are the honest comments from the co-workers: "It's good, but it tastes like bread sticks. " "Why is the meat only in the middle because the ends don't have any meat. It's all crust. " This was a true statement. I totally agree! We need more meat throughout. Don't just focus on the middle. Make it like lasagna, meat with every mouthful. "I can eat it without the marinara sauce." Me: "I def eat ranch dressing on my pizza. " Overall rating: 4/5. I'm not sure why the rating is so low for this Larry's, I am going to assume the people went to a knockoff Larry's and rated this one lol. The staff is the staff, they were cool, just booked and busy, I saw them handle some situations well and professionally. The food was fire! The cheesesteak was up there with the best of em in my opinion, the meat was well seasoned, good cooper sharp cheese portions in every bite, and didn't overdo it on the peppers and onions. The roll was soft but not soggy, held everything good. I got the famous Detroit style cheesesteak pizza as well and that pizza was everything, and I mean everything. So much flavor went into that pizza and the cheese bite and pulls on it were top notch. The crusting on it was just right, and the pizza dough was fluffy and soft to the bite, yet firm which let you get the most out of its I will definitely be going back for more of this. read more

Okay, where do I start. I know food being good is very important but if the customer service stinks, it takes away from the quality. I only decided to order from here because it was suggested and I wanted to treat my staff to lunch. I'm going to grade every aspect during my entire interaction with the business. I'm grading 1-10, 10 being the best. Calling to order the food for pick -up 1, horrible phone customer service. The person answered the phone and before I could say anything, put me on hold. I understand they're a busy establishment but at least ask, can you hold? I walked in to pick my order up, -0, looked at me like I was an inconvenience. I asked for the person whom I placed the order with to confirm I placed the order. The response " Don't nobody work here with that name" . Obviously, the person either lied or quit from all the phone calls! Now the important stuff! I brought in the 2 Detroit Style Cooper Sharp Cheesesteak Pizza, everyone was hype. Once everyone I ate, I walked around to gather everyone's opinion before making my own. The entire office gave it 7 1/2 - 8 out of 10, not bad. My opinion, 7 but customer service dropped it down to a 5. The top of the pizza was good but the dough of the pizza, didn't taste done. I was told it could be because their specialty is cheese steak not pizza. The smell and the quality 9, the look 8 but again, all together, 8. I will admit, non-stop traffic the entire time I was there waiting. Maybe everyone experience will be different but if I walk in a business, I don't expect to be greeted like we're at a family reunion. Placed an order with GrubHub for Hoagies, Cheesesteaks, and Fries and Onion rings. First delivery: Got 2 hoagies, and someone else's food. Second Delivery: got the fries and onion rings, no cheesesteak or Grinder. Third delivery: (2 hours after ordering) Finally got the rest of the sandwiches. At this point, the fries were cold. I was wondering why the rating here was low, and now after leaving I see why. The lady at the front desk on Monday 07/21/25 is very rude. I called the store and after being on hold for 15 minutes she hung up on me. I called back because I thought maybe we got disconnected. Only for her to put me back on hold and after 10 minutes boom she hung up again. I was already in route so I decided to still arrive. Only to come and be greeted by the same lady with an attitude. I wasn't gonna say anything but since she seemed to have an attitude I asked her was she aware that she's leaving people on hold and than hanging up and her response was it's only her there and their short staff. However, while I was at the counter ordering, this older gentleman was paying for his food and he asked for military discount. Now, he is wearing a veterans hat and didn't show any ID whatsoever, but when I asked for military ID, just got off work, still have my t-shirt on from work, I HAVE a military ID, and I'm active duty, but not honored because I "have to be in uniform." He helped break down the price and repeated the order to make sure everything was ordered. We ordered ,were told 45 minutes .Okay by us ,we take that as a goal ,cause it might be a few minutes more .Understanding weather ,but roads are mostly okay currently. If it's going to take 2 hours almost ,tell us ,be honest . pretty sure the manager makes the counter help stick with the "45 " minute routine. I ordered the daily special for Thursday which is a bacon cheeseburger deluxe with lettuce and tomato which comes with onion rings and french fries. The onion rings though there were only a few were the best part of the meal! So crisp and fresh. The fries were tasty as well but that burger was just drab. It lacked serious flavor and was clearly just taken out of a fridge or freezer and throw on the grill without any seasoning. The bread was nothing to write home about either. It tasted a bit stale. My boyfriend loves Larry's cheese steaks. And the first time I had them I shared a cheese steak hoagie with him and I was sold instantly. The pizza is pretty good and the fries are really good when they are fresh; the meat lovers pizza is bomb! The staff are very nice and customer service could use some improvement. Unfortunately with the pandemic there phones are ringing off the hook, so sometimes the quality of the food is hit or miss. Yesterday 7/17/2020, I ordered a cheese steak hoagie, fries and an order of ten (10) piece buffalo wings. I ordered my food at 7:11pm, the young lady on the phone told me 30 to 40 minutes for pick up. I arrive at 7:50pm. Once I arrive I pay for my food and the counter girl told me a few more minutes my order will be done. I did not get my food till 8:30pm, that's over an hour wait. I understand it's a Friday night and they are busy. Since the pandemic it has been busy everyday, you can wait almost 10-20 minutes on hold to place your order via phone. The food was mediocre, sad to say because I really like their cheese steaks. When I opened the food at home the cheese steak was not hot, it was warm. The fries were warm an soggy, typically supper crispy, hot and yummy! The buffalo wings were all random sizes, with this horrible breading. The sauce on the wings were sweet an not spicy at all, and I ordered them to be HOT. Because I work in the food industry I could tell the cheese steak and fries were made before the wings (the wings were the only thing that was hot). It would have been really nice to have everything HOT and FRESH. Especially since I waited a whole hour for my food. What really made my experience unsettling was that a older man came in at 8:15pm to pick up a cheese steak an fries and walked out at 8:25pm. REALLY?!? I called and the Spanish girl at the front desk was rude and told me it was nothing she could do and that it was a musroom in the steak.
