DO NOT TRUST NIC FORD IN INVERNESS - A NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a dealership -- and sadly, it's been both emotionally and financially draining. I brought my Ford vehicle to Nick Nicholas Ford in Inverness, FL, for repairs. Initially, they attempted to charge me nearly $10,000 out of pocket -- until I discovered the issue was actually covered under warranty. No one at the dealership made any effort to tell me this. Had I not done my own research, I would've been scammed into paying a massive, unnecessary bill. To make matters worse: I never received a call from any manager or service rep during the process -- not to update me, not to clarify next steps, not even to follow up after repairs. I was left without transportation and denied a ride to Enterprise rental, even though this is standard practice at most professional service centers. I had to pay rental charges out-of-pocket, and no one has offered to reimburse me. When I called in for updates, the phone was slammed down on me -- extremely rude and unprofessional. After all that, my vehicle is still having issues even after the "repairs." To make things worse, I discovered new damage to the right side and rear of my car. I live alone, and no one else drives my vehicle -- this damage occurred under their care. I have opened multiple cases with Ford's Customer Service system, including through their AI support. No manager has ever reached out, and the cases remain unresolved. I've been ignored and treated like an inconvenience. As a person of color, I also have to say the way I was treated raises real concerns about discriminatory practices. I was made to feel invisible, spoken down to, and disregarded at every turn. No one should have to deal with this level of disrespect and negligence. This will be the last Ford I ever purchase. I will never recommend Nick Nicholas Ford Inverness to anyone. They operate with poor business practices, lack of accountability, and a total disregard for their customers -- especially those of us who don't look like their "preferred" clientele. read more

Sales experience was good. No issues and got a very competitive price. Here's the problem, they sale you the service package and then you can never get in to get the service. Oil change? We don't have anything for 2 weeks. Recall, go to be a while. Warranty issue, umm... bring it in next month. They got me and it's my fault for agreeing and paying for it. Dealer run test and said Battery is fine Went to pick up the car the day after and Battery die in less then 5 minutes Mr. Travis Wells refuse to replace the Battery under Ford warranty. He said Battery die after 5 minutes if you don't run the car. Mr. Travis Wells left me and my son with car dead in the parking lot I had to jump start myself. Went to autozone pay $ 250 for a new battery install myself car fine . Car can stay with radio and position ligh on for more then 25 min no problem since. Worst experience ever in customer service. Shortly after purchasing my used certified 2019, F150 truck the engine started vibrating, cutting off and just having trouble with the engine. I took it in for repair under the warranty three times and was told nothing was wrong and that I was mistaken, no problems found. On the third visit the service manager talked down to me like a dog and told me I did not know what I was talking about. I use the truck for work, highway miles only and regular oil changes, so I suspect they knew my warranty was close to being over by the mileage count and then they could charge me to fix it. Shortly after the warranty expired the head broke off the valves and blew through the top of my piston (See pics). I contacted Ford they instructed me to contact the dealer, the dealer said contact Ford, so they are playing me as the monkey in the middle. I've tried contacting the General Manager through personal contacts but no results. So, I'm airing their dirty laundry for all to see. This cost me an extra $7, 222 and i should be made whole. Be on guard if you buy from this dealer. The sales team was great (Joey) and I originally went there as they claim to take good care of disabled Vetrans, but I guess that was wrong. read more

I have only used this dealership to service my 2014 Mustang. But that service has been outstanding. It all starts with setting the appointment. Because I work so far from the dealership, I have to have all my service done on Saturday's. That means dropping my car off after hours on Friday. From the regular oil changes, to replacing all 4 tires, to the most recent brake job, they have been more than accommodating in performing all of these services quickly. Allowing me to pick up my car before they close at 3:30 on Saturday. The services prices are more than reasonable, plus they offer a rewards program. This programs gives back a percentage of your purchases to use towards future work. This encourages you to use the dealership first, thus getting Ford parts. Although I have never purchased a car here, I would consider it so let based on the service department. read more

I've had my car here to get repaired for over 5 months(1st week of jan). Around 3 months after my accident I started calling to get updates on my car because its been a while. 3rd month- I call 5 times, the response I get every time "I'm going to find out whos taking care of you and we'll give you a call back" I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK 4th month- I CALL 6 times and get called back 1 time after them saying "I'm going to find out whos taking care of you and we'll give you a call back" FINALLY they say were waiting on a part should be in late April and the car should be finished EARLY MAY. 5th month- I call 3 times to make sure the parts in AGAIN "I'm going to find out whos taking care of you and we'll give you a call back" FINALLY GET A CALL BACK ON CALL 3 saying the part is in and they're going to finish EARLY MAY Almost 6th month- I CALL TO SEE THE STATUS OF MY CAR CURRENTLY MID MAY CALLED 3 times 2 times - "I'm going to find out whos taking care of you and we'll give you a call back" 1 time - "I'm not sure the sticky note was right there on his desk it says here to call {my phone number}, anyway were still waiting on another part, were not sure how were going to get it, the manager will give you a call back on the details and when we have a better idea." I can guarantee I'm going to get a response on this review before I get a call back. The communication is atrocious, don't expect to know when your car is done and don't expect a call back EDIT: I got a call back 1 day after posting this literally 2 minutes before they closed for them to tell me "im about to walk out for the day and I know its late , im just returning your call because I always make a point to call back...i'll give you a call tomorrow with details" the next day (2 days after posting): "Hey your car is being worked on now. Hes almost finished, he should finish body work tomorrow and be in paint early next week" .................. These guys sold me a brand new F-250 truck that rattles down the road and throws codes only until you get to the dealership then the codes go away and the dealership thinks you are crazy. Not a good way to start life with my brand new F-250 or a new dealership. Not happy/impressed. Plus they came driving up on the side of my house with the truck like a bunch of lunatics without me asking them to, when I was busy with something else. I don't know what it is with the dealerships in Florida but they aren't thinking of the customer. I've bought three trucks this year in 2020 and dealers just can't do anything right around here. Check engine light came on. I was told I needed a new intake manifold as it was leaking. I refused and was told they'd reset my check engine light for $40.00. I refused. Turns out the intake manifold bolts needed tightening AND the check engine light re sets when a fault analyzer is plugged in. My total cost? 10 minutes of my time. Brought my Lincoln Navigator in for and AC issue. Covered by warranty. Had the whole system replaced by Ford last year. I had an issue with the powerseat and mirrors not working as well. I was charged a $95 diagnosis fee for the power seat due to a connector not being plugged in. I was also charged a $95 diagnosis fee for the AC. This place nickles and dimes everything . This Service Center is as bad as it gets. I inherited a Ford vehicle from a very close deceased relative, and decided to take it here to have it checked out. NEVER AGAIN. They are rude, unprofessional, slow, and overpriced. Absolutely no redeeming value. First, they ordered my parts, but never called to tell me they were in. When I called them, they were packed up ready to go back. I set up an appointment to drop off my vehicle and receive a ride home at 9am, only to show up and find out that the driver wouldn't arrive that day until 10am (even though we had just verified the day before). This was on Friday. Friday at 5pm they called to say they would have to keep it overnight. Never heard from anyone between then and Monday. On Monday Kayla called me and said, "I don't know if I called you, but your truck is done". I have a feeling it was sitting there for days. At 10am I arranged a driver to pick me up at noon, but they never arrived. When I called, the service department told me the driver had to pick someone up at Bealls first. So much for appointments at this place. Several times we talked about the brakes, and several times I requested a written quote with the work and prices. When I arrived to pick up the truck, there was no quote. I asked several more times for one, and eventually they photocopied a joke of a piece of paper they had used for my visit. When I asked about the 100,000mile service, I was told it was "about$350-$450". When I asked what it included, I was told, "basically a tune-up". I told the service center the circumstances surrounding the vehicle, and instead of offering to provide service records, or condolences, or even a Thank you for using us, instead they just tried to buy my vehicle. I emailed all this and many more details that will not fit within this review to the Service Manager Shane Bryant when it occurred on August 30th, but never received any sort of reply at all. read more

As a sales center of Fords, they are OK, but their service center sucks. You make an appointment for an oil change say at 9:00 a.m. and you wait for 1.5 hours for them to get done. I have dealt with this dealership for 30 years and will not use their service center for anything unless there is no where else to go. Worst excuse for a dealership . Took my expedition in for body repair .Was told six to eight weeks to repair. Fifty weeks of in and out for terrible body work , scratched interior panels, rattles. Overspray on leather door panel .Had to take my car to another ford dealer phone quit working. They found wiring to mic not properly connected. I have a Ford that has a recall on the drive shaft and called to talk with a lady service advisor this morning. I asked her if I brought it in would they honor other discount coupons from Crystal River ford and after checking they do not honor other ford dealer coupons so I guess I will go to Crystal River and get my oil changed, tires rotated and the recall for the drive shaft completed the stame day. I purchased a 2013 Ford Edge from Kim Williams in 2014 and then returned to purchase my 2016 F-150 from Kim in 2018. Both transactions were effortless. Kim and the rest of the Nick Nicholas family took control of the situation and I was able to sit back and relax while all of the hard work was taken care of for me. The sales department was very efficient in finding the exact vehicle that I was searching for. There are over a 1,000 different configurations of the F-150 and I was a bit particular in picking out the exact color and options that I wanted. Kim searched for a few days and reached out notifying me that she found the exact vehicle I requested. They brought it in for me to look at before even drafting the paperwork. I felt no pressure throughout the entire process. It was as if I was already a part of the Nick Nicholas family. The quality doesn't stop there! The service department is on top of their game! Service department does not finish jobs properly.  Own a new 21 F250 diesel.  First service was for an oil change and tire rotation. Had to readjust my own tire pressures to correct PSI as the technicians did not do so. Service department apologized. Now, a truck with less than 13,000 miles the radio has completely stopped working. Brought in for diagnosis, was told it's radio needs to be completely replaced. Upon picking up my truck, the fuse cover was not put back on, tool left behind on floor board, carpets and mats folded up. The biggest issue was the passenger seat was reclined to have access to technicians cell phone charger they placed in the trucks outlet in backseat. Were they just relaxing in the truck, using the truck to charge their dying phone like my 70000 dollar truck is a personal charging station for them? Brought to service managers attention nothing was done. Call the following week to find out status of new radio, was told it was in and to bring in the truck Monday. Speak to the General Manager Shane Bryant to let him know of entire situation, says he was aware of the situation yet had no answers nor even spoke to technician that had left the truck in the poor condition I had picked it up in. Ontop of this all, the radio sent was incorrect!  Time, drive and service all wasted, every time! Not just once but now have to go back a third time!  Ford Corporate has now been contacted and created. Had a scheduled service appointment for 1:30 on 8/10/2020, at 4:45 called and was told someone would call me back. At 4:55 received a phone call that they didn't get a chance to look at and would in the morning! Next day comes around finally pull it in the shop sometime around 3pm. At 5:15 pm call and they have no answers for me other than it's in the shop. Truck is a 2020 f450 and only has 28k miles when I dropped it off also asked if they have two new tires for the front and if so replace the fronts, was told they don't stock the 19.5 okay, well being that you didn't look at it after two days and still didn't order the tires poor customer service. When I told them I have to pick my truck up even unfinished no sorry or any anything other than we will let the Mechanic know you picked it up! Wow is all I have to say. read more

Tried to come look at a car over the weekend, but was trying to weed through some of the beginning crap that we all go through when you walk through the doors. My salesman went on vacation with no reply or heads up. "Internet specialist" told me she would handle the soft trade value first thing and let me know before I traveled 2 hours. She never responded to me and her and another salesman only responded when I emailed the G.M. Today the "internet specialist" calls me and ask if all my questions were answered and when I can come in???? Umm never? When I tried to tell her she never got back to me she kept saying that's a lie, that's a lie and talking over me. I would have to say that this dealership probably sucks!!!!! read more

I was in an accident on March 5th, 2020. I contacted my insurance who told us to use Nick Nicholas. We couldn't get an appointment until Mid-April. I took the truck in and left it with the collision department. It took two weeks to repair, we picked up the truck to a haze black paint job, bubbles in the paint, and shotty repairs. The damaged door rattles and lets in air/ wind. The rear tire was never addressed and rubs. The job was nearly $4,500, so this is unacceptable. I took the truck back to the dealer to have the problems addressed and the collision manager told me the haze was because 'all black paint hazes', the bubbles were initially something 'he couldn't see' and the poor work was due to an employee who no longer worked there. He proceeded to tell me I was wrong in questioning repairs and work. He was condescending and rude. We finally agreed to it being fixed, he said he'd send an estimate and rental agreement to me for review for an appointment the following week. I asked for a 6 passenger vehicle and he questioned why. My truck seats 6 so should the rental. The review never came. I will not recommend Nick Nicholas to anyone in the future-- rude and unprofessional. read more
