I wanted to get an electric vehicle. I decided on the 2026 Equinox RS EV AWD with all the options and Love Chevrolet had it. My sales person was Sam Spears. The dealership is about 120 miles from my house so I wanted make sure their vehicle was what I wanted. Sam made 4 different videos for me. He also provided me a ballpark trade in value. I took my dog Buddy along for the ride. Since my trade in had very low miles they gave me above the original estimate. Very disappointed in the customer service of this dealership. My mother passed away in FL, and I needed to transport her vehicle from her property in FL to my home state of PA. I reached out to them for guidance and assistance in picking up her car to accomplish this. I followed all the requirements given to me from the DMV and reached out to them.... I explained the situation only to find their interest in helping me with this long-distance quandary was of no interest to them. It appears once they get their money for the sale of a vehicle they have a "take the money and run" attitude. Even after reading the reviews I still came and got my transmission service done here Just got my transmission serviced at Lowe's Chevrolet. My car has pretty high mileage, i bought it back in February and for as long as I've had it this hasn't been done and i don't know when the last time it was done so i chose to get ahead of it and try to keep it running smooth and safely as i canso by being proactive. I arrived for my appointment, it was pretty cold out, the building i say need to be upgraded like other dealerships where the customer can drop off keys inside and not have to bounce around, so a stream lining is needed, the lounge is pretty small with only a couple of seats to where several of us had to stand, the coffee machine wasn't making coffee but the hot chocolate and other beverages seemed to be, It felt like a pretty good amount of time was used to do my transmission flush service and they seemed to do a good job, the price wasn't bad compared to others i called for estimates. Hopefully, this'll keep my car running smoothly for a while longer. Definitely recommend checking them out if you're in the area just hope they upgrade the building and machines by then. read more

I always shop between dealerships for best price. They were quick to respond I will give them that. However you NEVER want to take the first offer from these guys. They threw a 20% markup over MSRP on a Bolt I was trying to purchase. That equates to a $6000 markup over MSRP!! I can only assume there finance dept is equally as crooked. I purchased my car from Luv Chevrolet 9/23/2021. I purchased and paid for an extended warranty. By 11/01/2022 Take 5 oil change business noticed that every time I went in, it looked like I had an oil leak. During this time the shade on my sunroof shade snapped back and broke. I took my car to Starling Chevy and showed them my warranty. They told me that it had expired, mind you, I paid for a 5 year extended warranty. I went back and forth with Luv's about being covered, they FINALLY told me that the "finance" person checked the wrong button so I in fact paid for a worthless warranty. They FINALLY said that they would "fix" the sunroof, I also mentioned that my car was leaking oil that needed to be fixed. They "fixed" my sunroof and replaced the oil pan. (This is important) I have since found out that the oil pan was "fixed" BEFORE I purchased the car, so Luv's knew that there had been a problem before with the oil pan & just "re-fixed" the oil pan. I took my car BACK to Luv's as Take 5 told me that I STILL had an oil leak. They changed the oil & said, well it looks like it's the upper part of the oil pan that is needing to be fixed and that will cost me about $3,200.00. These are not an up and up company, stay far away from this company as they are definitely not an honest company. I guess they figured I was just a stupid lady (which I guess they were correct as I paid them money just for the heck of it) So I need to get this oil pan fixed, again no extended warranty. I'm not sure that there are any decent car dealerships out there. You hear about this all the time. Ok - let me start by saying I have reviewed Love Honda a few years ago, so pulling into Love Chevrolet, I was apprehensive. My wife needed a bigger truck, we were looking for a 3/4 ton, and right now trucks are hard to come by. Chip shortages, Covid, etc. We stopped at Dodge, and no trucks were there. I have special Ford Pricing on a build to order, but that would take 8 months to a year. We pulled into Love Chevrolet and there was a truck parked there in customer parking. A "Greenburst" Chevy 2500 LTZ with the Z71 Off Road Package, Leather interior, bedliner, gooseneck package. We opened the doors, key was there, wife climbed up inside and started her up, 6.6 Duramax. The smile on my wifes face was immediate. She had a GMC Sierra 1500, the dash is identical, then she noticed, it's got the bench seat up front, that's a bonus, this truck checked all the boxes. We sat inside the truck a good 10-15 minutes, then climbed out, went to walk inside and that's when we found John, the sale guy who took care of us. We asked about the truck, and he informs us it's up front because someone had an appointment at 9:00am to come see it, it was just delivered that morning. Well, it's just before 11:00am, the guy never showed for the appointment, so we asked if we could take it for a ride. He takes my license, gets us a tag and off we go. Needless to say, my wife is in "love" - So we get back from the test drive, and we talk about price, trade in, etc. Now my wifes trade in is at home, we are in my Bronco. So she stays there and starts paperwork, I drive home to get her truck. I get back, and we are now talking price. They gave us exactly what we wanted for our trade, they removed exactly what I asked them to remove from their "dealer add ons", we negotiated a fair deal in today's absurd market of "Market Adjustments" - getting the best deal on a truck that will last a lifetime. Meanwhile, during this time spent at the dealer, EVERYONE was checking this truck out. So I will honestly say I was very impressed, and very thankful that they worked with what we requested on trade and other concessions they made to put us in that truck. Based on my opinion on the other Love Dealership, this dealership has my vote of confidence. I see some poor reviews from 2018, but will honestly say I would look here again for a deal. read more

Got check engine light on my new corvette. I call and was told not to bring the car in until the check engine light was flashing. I explained the code was embedded and I had it read. I was told again don't bring it it in. It has not shifted gears twice. I have owned chevys for years. I know to pull over and call a wrecker if I get a flashing check engine light. I called back and talked with another write up person. I was told to bring the car in the following monday. I did and was told I was supposed to bring the car in on Tuesday. I showed them the Pat reminder they sent me. They were sorry. I was assured that they would address the problem on a Tuesday. I took the car in again. I was told they wanted to clear the codes and go for a drive. A half an hour later they changed their mind. Wanted me to come back in 10 days and plan on spending the day. They do not have loaners nor were they willing to take me home. They want me to drive a car that has transmission problems. Make a third trip to their dealer. And spend the day waiting to see what happens. Today I got a notice from them that my service was completed. These people are clueless. They will tell you anything. They can't even figure out when and what they want to do. read more

After arguing how it should already be covered because I bought the vehicle the month before they brought the price for a 100$ part down to 500$. These people are shameless! Our first contact, Nancy, went above and beyond working with her manager, Sonya, to get to a price we could agree on. After driving two and a half hours to the dealership we were met by Joe, who handled the sale. This was the smoothest/easiest car buying experience we have ever had. We ended up with a fair price, there was no frustrating haggling, and we left with a vehicle we love. I would also like to acknowledge Ryan, Larry and Brenden for their help with this transaction. They did not go above and beyond for me. Finance treated me well but they tried their hardest to get me to finance my vehicle, also got me with a 10,000$ mark up on the msrp as well. I'd never go back here again though so lesson learned. John the sales person told me they didn't have mats for my truck which is bullshit when you are paying thousands of dollars.their dealer fees are ridiculous, sticker price was 35000 walked out paying 43 it was my fault for falling for it, but thank God when I traded it in at Village Toyota , they treated me the best and gave me a decent deal for my traded. But they had explained to me how bad they screwed me on my deal. Village Toyota will not get you for a $10,000 markup but other dealers like a Love Chevrolet will if you go to this dealership make sure you know what you're doing before you get a vehicle here. It took a week to fix my on star on my 2015 Impala for starters! I also wanted my tires rotated and my oil changed. I know they didn't rotate my tires because I curbed my front rim and it's still in the same location. As for my oil, I'm not sure if that was done because the oil icon didn't say oil 100%.... When questioning the service manager he told me it was twice what they would charge General Motors (their best customer), and justified this by saying we have to make money. Beware of this dealership. I called two other local dealerships and both were half what this dealership charged for the same work. During a divorce while my ex-wife was working there, while having an affair with another employee, that leadership (Ben Hoover) was aware of, I incurred receiving back a vehicle awarded by the court to my ex-wife. Obviously with child support and 2 cars now as payments I then was forced to allow one to repossessed further ruining my financial and credit situation more than a divorce naturally would. The worst part is employees involved knew they were going against a court order and the sales department and Ben Hoover were only worried about selling a car. Part ordered. Showed up to have work done. JC told me they do these all the time. While attempting to replace shift knob, 2 hours later, was told, it's not the shift knob. Went and looked in on what they were doing. First thing I saw was the inside retainer plastic part#25979707 $177.76 to replace, was all scratched up. I stopped the project and went to the GM. He looked at the car and said they didn't do it. OUT RIGHT LIE. Had Citrus county Sheriff come down and filed a report. The shoes on these guys were caked with dirt and grease and sand. Yes it was done there. Was charged for the part 150.00, not fixed and with damage to my car. It's a sad day when people can look you in the eye and lie. This place is not honest, they lie, and walk away during a conversation. I would say stay away. These jokers know nothing about corvettes. I took my 2011 Cruze in the shop to replace the timing belt , then they called and told me I need to replace the wheel bearing assembly for the drivers side front. Ok do it. Then they call and say I have oil in my radiator and it need to be replaced along with all the hoses. When I asked how that happens they say it just does sometimes. Ok do it. 2300.00 later I pick up the car and go on a trip to visit family and in Virginia the passenger side wheel bearing assembly goes. Replaced that in PA. Get home, change the oil and guess what, no heat. Husband checks radatior and no fluid. Hum... check oil and antifreeze in engine. Now I need new engine. WHY did you not check to see if heads were leaking instead of just changing radatior? NEVER will I come back. read more

The one star is for Cleveland in sales, he tried to make things work. However, this dealership knowingly bought an Canadian 2018 purple Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara with around 10,000 miles which Chrysler does not warranty at all and is trying to sell it for $38,000+. After I called them out on it and presented facts from the car fax; they agreed to come off that price $500 and offered me a $2200 6 year, 60,000 mile warranty for the low, low price of $1600. First, your practice of not disclosing that and me finding it on my own is shady, secondly, you could have made it right by discounting the price of the Jeep and including a courtesy extended warranty but you told your salesman you had no Wiggle room on that Jeep. Knowing that Jeep was probably deeply discounted at the auction you purchased it from because Chrysler does not warranty vehicles that originated in Canada and any buyer that buys cars for their dealerships does the research on these vehicles beforehand and knows this or I'm sure they could lose their job. So, I know that you knew the warranty was null and void. Buyer please beware and do your research. Make sure you ask lots of questions and avoid dealerships that make this a common practice. Another reason why I absolutely loathe buying a new vehicle. read more

I went into this dealer looking at a 2015 Ford F-250 diesel and spent 4+ hours with the sales person Rafael and worked out the numbers. We are full-time RV'ers and have a Florida mail service there we get mail at and can register a vehicles at that address . We talk to the sales person who said that this would not be an issue that our financing was all set. All we needed to do was to come into the office and sign the paperwork. When we got to the dealership they informed us that they could not register the truck in Florida that we would have to register it in New York and the payment would increase by $40 a month this is not what we agreed upon not what we were told. This is an issue that they knew about prior to us coming into the dealership for the second day.I find this customer service to be extremely lacking and trying to bait and switchat the last moment totally deceiving. I do not blame the sales person but I do blame the dealership that he works for. I could not and would not recommend this dealership to anybody I know. read more

Terrible!!! BUYER BEWARE!! My husband and I just had the worst experience we have EVER had trying to purchase a vehicle. Our sales man Cleveland was amazing, everything was GREAT through the process until it came time to sign our paperwork for the sale and we looked at the price itemization and realized there were major discrepancy's and warranties added without our knowledge. The finance manager told us the lender would not approve our interest rate he received based on his relationship with the lender unless we agreed to purchase an extended warranty from the dealership, which really felt unethical especially when we get told this only AFTER we had started to sign the paperwork and we brought it to the attention of the finance manager, meaning we were never told it was in the deal. I do believe extended warranties are very good to have but I do not believe you should be strong armed into purchasing them or told that your interest rate will fluctuate upon not agreeing to get them. Sad thing is, we would have agreed to it, just not by unethical and deceitful business practices. When I came back to the dealership the following day to bring attention to the fact this had happened to us, I was laughed out of the office by the used car manager Jeremy. - Jeremy felt that we were getting a deal and that is why the warranty was added, in his words that is the ONLY way the deal would be made, we were not getting a deal, he just moved the numbers around to attempt to give the illusion we were getting a better deal. Apparently there is no one but Jeremy you can reach out to if you have a complaint with this dealership. I really feel after talking with Jeremy this morning that he played a major role in why the warranty was deceitfully added to my to my paperwork and he was A ok with the outcome even if it reflected bad on the dealership as a whole. Brought my 2003 Corvette there today for oil change. I had a $39.00 coupon downloaded from their website , which I was going to use and they accepted coupon. However, at checkout my bill was approx. $73.00, I was told they did not use the GM Synthetic Oil, but instead used Mobil 1, causing the bill to climb to $73.00. I was never consulted prior to changing oil even though I was in the waiting lounge. Their logic was last year I used Mobil 1.
