Nice little place offering beers on tap from local breweries. You can also buy cans in 4, 6pks or make your own. I loved the place except for one part...I don't mind having to order food to have an alcoholic beverage or two but I felt ripped off here. The bartender said they had a slice of pizza, pizza bites, mozzarella sticks and a few other items just so we could order drinks. My husband got "pizza bites" and they were pizza rolls (I think generic brand, not Totinos). I'm totally fine with that but they charged us $8 freaking dollars for 10 pizza rolls! No way should you charge more than maybe $3 at the most. Then I find out a small pizza square was only $1. That pissed me off because I don't care about spending little more money at local businesses but I DO NOT like being ripped off. 2 stars gone just for that. Extremely disappointed for that reason.

    Flight of beers.

Cool place tucked away in Lancaster's D & L Plaza. Definitely check this place out, good atmosphere and extensive beer list.

Good but not great…read more The good: cute inside, employees were friendly. The cocktails were delish- had the watermelon mojito and it was fabulous. The octopus was delish and a good portion. The pana cotta and tarte was fantastic. The meh: some of the servers could be dressed more professionally for a "fine dining" restaurant. Everything was over salted. Significantly. There were several dishes we couldn't even finish. Our ribeye was well done (tragic) when we ordered med rare. The server spilled things several times on the table which he was very apologetic for but still.... Nothing was a wow which doesn't match the prices here, not to mention that you get solicited for cash from the people outside the door on the way out which makes it even less worth the drive. Kind of a miss.

Around 3:45 we parked out front and my wife and I plus our 2 children walked in. We were really turned off by the woman who greeted us. She appeared to be a miserable older lady with tatted arms and a disgust toward my wife that has many medical conditions. At this point we were about to walk out. We were blessed with the most incredible waitress, Meghan, that turned our experience completely around. She knew the menu well. Was attentive without being overbearing. The best thing about her was her genuine love for Butera's quality of food and her appreciation of the management. The chicken parm, the chicken broccoli penne, the stinger sandwich, and the chicken alfredo were all excellent! Salad was served cold and was one of our favorites. Going back for sure. Going to try their burgers and pizza. Both of wich we heard nice ratings for! We very highly recommend this establishment!

I was a little hesitant after reading several reviews that mentioned poor customer service, but we decided to give it a try anyway. Thankfully, our experience was much different. Our server was excellent. She was attentive, patient, and even offered drink samples when we were unsure what to order. For appetizers, I ordered the pizza flight featuring the stuffed banana pepper, stinger, and chicken spinach pizzas. The stuffed banana pepper wasn't really my favorite, but the stinger was absolutely delicious. The chicken spinach was good as well. While everything was enjoyable, nothing really wowed me. I also tried the French onion soup, which was flavorful, though I wasn't a fan of the heavy amount of Parmesan cheese on top. A friend ordered the garlic Parmesan wings and found them to be dry and overcooked. She ended up asking for extra sauce to help with the flavor and texture. Overall, I'm glad I had the opportunity to experience the pizza flights and see what Butera's had to offer. The service was great and the food was decent, but it wasn't memorable enough to bring me back for another visit.
