During the few weeks I waited, nothing was available, but they do have new appliances available all the time. It can be difficult to find a matching set since they have a good selection, but very few of each available at a time. They offer delivery for a small fee. I ended up buying my set at another place, but I would definitely consider this place for future purchases. They have a wide variety of refrigerators, stoves, grills, microwaves, etc. to choose from.

My wife liked the features of the models we looked at here the best. The best price was in Altoona 35 miles away, but by the time I included the delivery charge it was a wash. A few years after installation we received a letter from the manufacturer of our microwave alerting us to a problem that could result in a fire. The instructions said to unplug it immediately and contact our dealer. I called and talked to Mr. McGee the owner and was pleasantly surprised to hear that not only was he very knowledgeable about the problem, but that he also had the parts in stock and could fix it immediately. One day later my repairs were completed and at no charge. Last Thursday my wife said the ice maker was not making full size cubes. I once again called to have a technician repair it. I talked to one of the service personnel who while writing up the service order ask me when we changed the filter last. I told him I wasn't sure to which he replied "I would try replacing that before we come out". I went into the store and picked one up that day. Problem solved. This saved me the price of a service call. Now that's service! I won't go anywhere else. Responsive, dependable, and honest. It just doesn't get any better than that.

And then he said "also check this ..", which was key because I did check that, and it revealed a bigger and more serious problem. So back I go and they had that part as well! BUYER BEWARE We…read morepurchased a $2,300 refrigerator from Cabin Hill, our 4th appliance from them in about 6 months. We chose this long-standing, locally owned business because we believed we would receive reliable service and accountability. We also purchased the extended warranty on every appliance we've bought there. We were sold a defective product. Just over a year in, the freezer failed. We are now over two weeks without a functioning refrigerator, including through Thanksgiving. We lost hundreds of dollars in food and had to cancel holiday plans with our family and grandkids. The service technician spent over an hour diagnosing the issue and informed us that we had one of the most serious problems a fridge can have: a refrigerant leak, which rendered both the freezer and refrigerator unusable. We were told the repair would take nearly a full day and had to wait over a week for the appointment. After over 5 hours of work during the repair we were suddenly told that the refrigerator could not be fixed and we would need a full replacement. This was especially frustrating because just an hour earlier we were told that everything looked good and the repair would be finished soon. Instead, they said GE, not Cabin Hill, would be handling the replacement process. We didn't buy from GE; we bought from a local store expecting local support from their in-house service department. That expectation was a major factor in choosing this supposedly "mom and pop," 100-year-old business. What happened next was even more disappointing. I called today to speak to an owner, hoping that someone with actual decision-making authority might help our family. I was told an owner would return the call. After hearing nothing for 3 hours, I called again and was told the owners are never there. I was then transferred to a supervisor, who later identified himself as the highest-ranking employee on site. This supervisor was dismissive, offered no empathy, and provided no solutions. He repeatedly talked over me, refused to provide his manager's contact information, and would not pass our concerns to anyone above him. He hung up on me three times. I never yelled or swore; I was simply trying to get help. Am I frustrated? Yes. Did the arrogance, disrespectful tone towards a woman, and abrupt hang-ups escalate that frustration? Absolutely. We now have: A barely one-year-old refrigerator with catastrophic failure No usable fridge or freezer Hundreds of dollars in food loss A disrupted family holiday "Double coverage" in warranties that have produced no meaningful support A business passing everything off to GE, despite GE not being the retailer The most disturbing part is the complete lack of compassion, accountability, or willingness to connect us with an actual decision-maker. The supervisor claimed to be "in charge" but refused to share who his own boss was or how to contact them. Each time we asked, he hung up the phone. We expected much better from a company that presents itself as a caring, community based operation that has served our region for generations. Our initial experience, including excellent delivery staff was exactly what we had hoped for. But when it mattered most, that level of service disappeared completely. We have contacted the Better Business Bureau, and the Attorney General. People deserve to know the reality behind the reputation. This has been the worst customer service we have encountered, and the overall experience has left us feeling deeply uneasy about how this company does business. Proceed with caution. **The reply on GOOGLE by the business is not by an owner, as they are not involved with the business as we were told, and is not factual, see above. If it was, we wouldn't be here. Plus we called GE directly today 12.9.25, since we have heard nothing yet, and they had no idea about this issue, so more untruths. They also wondered why Cabin Hill was not handling this for us, and told us the tech cut the line too short and this is why the repair could not be completed. Lies upon lies so far. Shady stuff here folks.

I put my furniture cushions out from June till September and they sit with very little use and well taken care of. Unfortunately, I am very displeased with the them. When I first received the one cushion the thread that they used was dry rotted and falling apart. I'm not sure how long the cushions were sitting around before they were sent to the store, or if they were truly custom made for me and the person just used older thread . The other issue is that my buttons keep falling off from the plastic. They replaced the buttons and gave back-up but the string to attach the buttons can only be handled so many times before wearing it out. I should not have to do this! My cushions were very expensive and I was fine with that, because umbrella material is great quality and know to last. The material stills looks great and the shape is still intact (seat cushions) as I am meticulous about taking care of my belongings. However, craftsmanship with the stitching and the ongoing issues with the buttons coming apart are awful. Now my beautiful expensive cushions are trashy looking, and do not hold shape on the back cushion since the buttons can no longer be attached to pull the cushions in. I am very disappointed and the store should have offer a better solution from the beginning and allowed me to choose a different style with a different company. Not happy with how the Mt. Lebanon store handled my order and sold me defective cushions. I hoped for a better outcome and better customer from this store.

Not to bash them, but it often feels like their staff are not interested in helping me, and I just can never seem to find what I need without googling the item first and locating it myself. I dread going in there. ANYWAY... I recently discovered that I live in quick driving distance from this Ace Hardware location. I was in desperate need of shelf pins for my kitchen cabinets- specially the 1/4 " size. I had looked everywhere for them- Lowe's and Home Depot, multiple locations for both. I even ordered some off of Amazon and the wrong size was sent to me. When I discovered this Ace Hardware, I called them first to ensure they had the size shelf pins I was looking for. To my delight, they answered the phone right away and let me know they had the size I was looking for in stock. I made the short drive there and found exactly what I was looking for and more. I have been to this location 3x since then. Every time I have been greeted with a friendly smile by one of their employees. Honestly, this place is like a breath of fresh air. I am so relieved to have found it and feel so lucky they are so close to my new home. I am a rewards member now and look forward to visiting many, many more times. Thanks for being awesome, Ace Hardware in Greentree!

Two days later, an employee replied that they would accept my items, and he scheduled a pickup from my house for several days later.
