BAIT and SWITCH .... The employee (G...) the counter quoted a price of $360 and I scheduled the service 10 days out because they were busy. I called 3 days ahead of my scheduled 8 AM service appointment to confirm the items to be replaced and additional service (flush and fill anti freeze) to be done on on my vehicle. This time I talked to different employee (F....) and he wanted to make sure the quote was correct ... he did a review of the previous quote and found it to be correct in the amount of $360. On the day of actual service the manager (3rd) employee quoted me a price well over $600 ! Needless to say I was shocked and canceled the service. That's the old "BAIT and SWITCH " routine. Get you to agree to 1 price (bait) and then change (switch) to a 2nd much higher price hoping you'll agree. How would you rate this ?

Right now all auto repair shops are short on mechanics due to covid. The previous (won't mention) auto repair center wanted to replace the catalytic converter and quoted almost two weeks to do the job. Double E found the problem to be just a simple fuse, and was able to fix the car within a few days of making a reservation. Honesty and Integrity are a great find, and we are glad we were recommended to go to Double E.
