It's better than Olive Garden, but just wasn't the real deal. We expected a more authentic meal based on reviews we've read. Just proves everyone's taste is different. Ordered a tiramisu, then wanted another to go and we were told it would be frozen. Sure was. Ordered a grandmas bread and it was literally bread with sliced tomatoes and melted cheese with side of sauce. Expected more like a bruschetta. We went to Nick's for dinner one night and were not disappointed! We left full as a tick. All of the food was filled with flavor. Everything that we ordered cake out correctly and quickly. The service staff worked quickly to take our orders , drinks, and refreshed everything in a timely manner. The serving staff explained the menu items to us and made suggestions based on us explaining things that we usually eat. I had the Chicken Florentine which was so filling that I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. The chicken was tender and the cream made the dish POP! I literally could've just eaten the cream alone as it was indeed the Bomb! My husband and daughter had the shrimp scampi. The shrimp were a good size. The buttery sauce had a zest to it that went perfect with the shrimp. The portion size was large. Both of them had to take theirs home too. Now..the leftovers is a completely different story! Yes..we fought about them. Smh ‍ we Ww tried the whole sharing thing so that we could all have another taste lol. The pizza. Yes, we ordered that too. . I guess we were being greedy. We ordered the meat lovers. We only ate one slice at the restaurant because..of course..we were full. The pizza was amazing. I'm not a big crust eater and I really don't know what they do with that crust but I couldn't leave it on my plate. Haha. PIZZA is one of my favorite foods so I'm a big critic. Their pizza was definitely in my Top 3! We Took the rest home ...the rest of it was gone by the time we woke up the next day. My son's said that they couldn't resist it. It was just too good. Also, don't worry about the costs. Their food is totally affordable! So definitely stop in to Nick's you won't be disappointed. And you definitely won't be disappointed if you get a chance to meet Nick himself. He's very polite, Professional, yet down to earth. He was sure to come check in with us to see how we were doing. So this little diddy located up North in Pilot Point is worth 1,000 Dominos and Pizza Hut's. Seriously. So they have a lunch special which is pretty expansive, and very reasonable. I'd say cheap, but I don't want to imply they skimp. They don't. The dinner rolls are homemade and to die for. Like seriously. I want them served at my funeral. With extra garlic butter. The entrees are fabulous and I always want to try more but I. Just. Can't. Get. Past. The. Pizza. Their pizza is so damn good, so addictive. I'm so glad I live close. I like the cheese pizza, hubby likes the double pepperoni and when it's just me (or I don't give a hoot about feeding him) I'll order the supreme. And the prices are crazy reasonable. They are one of the few places that carry Limoncello. And it's also going to be served at my funeral. (I'm not dying. Promise) You know a place is good when you go there and it's packed every time. Went to Nick's under the pretense of supporting local businesses during the pandemic. Unfortunately, the safety measures and guidelines our experts and government have in place were not being followed. For those concerned about such things, Leo's (Pilot Point) and Luigi's (Aubrey) in the area serve great food, follow state mandates and wear both masks and gloves. It's very important to support local businesses during this time of uncertainty and crisis, but it's also good to know when those businesses equally support the health and safety of their customers. read more

Food is ok for Pilot Point I guess, but the owner is beyond disgusting. How do I know you ask? Well, I posted a one star review on another platform because when I went in to pick up my to go order not a single person in the kitchen or helping at the counter was wearing a mask. The review I posted was responded to by the owner himself in which he called me a "Karen" and admonished me for patronizing his restaurant. We actually went out of our way to patronize this place because local restaurants in particular are struggling and we were trying to show support. So take this "Karen's" advice and support another local establishment because this one isn't worth your time. read more

Little out of the way street taco places are a natural. You go in because you will usually get some pretty good food. As for out of the way Italian? Well, this is actually better than most. Nick's used to be a place called Da Federico's, but for some reason they changed their name, but the menu seems to have remained the same. I have only been here a few times, but what I have had has been pretty decent. The pizza could use some work, but the chicken parm and the chicken marsala were both pretty good. The tomato sauce is nice and tomatoey and has a good flavor to it. As for the marsala, they use a piece of grilled chicken which is different for a marsala, but it works really well. I'm not saying you need to go two hours just to come here like you would do some of the finer Italian places here in the DFW area, but if you happen to be in the Pilot Point area and you want some decent Italian, this is a good spot. The food is good, not great, but his ideal is an overflowing crowd which is noisy, and makes for an uncomfortable dinner. You end up with others standing over you while you try to enjoy your meal. Came looking for pasta an hour away from home before my soccer game to find this hole in the wall styled restaurant. The menu prices were quite impressive and the variety offered is one that will have me coming back. I had the Maria's Pasta which was phenomenal, my dad had Nick's pizza which was a delicacy and well topped abs prepared.
