I've been in a couple times and it's been a fantastic experience each time! I'm someone who is highly intimidated by nice clothing and keeps to athletic wear for the most part but my most recent visit this past Wednesday, the employee working was insanely supportive of me and helped me find a suit I'm actually excited to wear. I unfortunately forgot his name but he was working at about 2pm this past Wednesday. He was super observant of my needs even without me saying them out loud. I told him about my general aversion to fancy clothes and he suggested an economic option for me that's still high quality. It was sincerely perfect. The price range for the full suit was about what I'd anticipated but the tailoring was a much better price than I'd expected. Went to Nicks this week to look for a si or for our wedding and groomsmen they offered awesome deals and prices and were extremely accommodating. They do have seasonal suits. They have seasonal suits so if you're looking for something specific without having to pay the expensive prices of having suits custom made I advise popping in occasionally to see that they have out of the floor. read more

We first heard about Nick's at a small bridal show at Scottsdale Stadium a while back and were shocked at what they do! Guys, you can get a brand new, custom suit for the same price as a rental. They literally have every color of the rainbow and can customize anything that you want for your special day. The best part, the $210 price tag includes the suit, shirt, vest, and tie! Fast forward a few months and we finally had the time to go into their store and check it out. We were SOLD the second we walked in! The suits do not feel cheap {which was a concern of mine} and the service was absolutely amazing. We were in and out of the store in under an hour with everything chosen and paid for. We were lucky that the owner just happened to be in the day that we came, so he made sure that we were totally taken care of. We picked out a classic black suit, white shirt, black vest, and a bowtie for my groom + skinny ties for the groomsmen. They also have additional accessories like fun socks, tie clips, flower pins, etc. All in all, if you're getting married soon, Nick's is a no-brainer for the groomsmen! I always go to the Nick's at Chandler Fashion and have had great experiences there. Thought I would try this location as it is closer to home. Unfortunately, the experience here was pretty horrendous. After being helped and given clothes to try on, the sales guy was helping another customer, which was fine. I didn't mind waiting to get sized. I saw the couple he was helping leave the store and The sales guy had disappeared. I waited for 5 minutes to see if he would come back to size the pants and then decided to leave. There was another employee that saw me getting ready to leave that offered to size the pants after he finished with another customer, but I decided not to wait any longer. As I walked out, the disappearing sales guy was eating and told me to have a nice day. :/ Props to the guy wanting to keep the business by offering to size the pants. I have shopped at Nick's several times but this was my first time at the Mills location. Well I must say that the service and selection mirrors that of the Chandler Mall location. I was in need of slacks for Church since it was time for a makeover and had plenty to select from. My only concern was getting them back in time for Church, but Nick's came thru with getting them ready in 2 days. Had a wedding coming up and was hoping to fit into my old suit. NOT. I looked at some of the larger companies until I ran across this place called Nick's. Looked at their reviews here and a couple of other places and they were all mostly positive, so I thought I would give them a try. Let me say that from the moment I walked in they made me feel comfortable. This is hard because I don't like wearing or trying on suits. Jordan asked me some questions about the event and colors. She then made some suggestions and grabbed some items to try on. After we agreed on the suit she made the markings for adjustments and off I went. One week later I went back to confirm the fit and pick it up. I had some concerns as to quality because of the low price but it held up and looked great. I was in a rush to find my brother's prom outfit and Nick's never let me down. I've gotten suits for dad, and granddaddy, so I just knew my little brother would be safe with Nick's. Long story short, renting or purchasing is so great to have as an option, especially for a one time special event like prom! Although at the time the reviews were overly positive, there were only 13. But they did boast top notch customer service, great prices, and efficiency. So I went in. Upon entering the store I was quickly greeted by Tory who asked all the appropriate questions, made immediate suggestions, and quickly got me situated. From suit, to shoes, to socks. I'm not a fan of clothes shopping and Tory took all the pain out of it. And needing the suit in less than a week, it was quickly tailored same day!!! What more can you ask for?!?! We initially were referred to Nick's by a friend who had Nick's Menswear outfit the groom and all of his groomsmen. My Fiancée and I both really liked the way the suits fit and we heard great things about the customer service as well as the price being very reasonable. We knew we would be giving Nick's an opportunity to earn our business when our wedding date approached. We ended up going with Nick's not only for my suit but also our officiant's suit (who happens to be a close friend of ours). These suits are a much better value and style than anything I've ever rented or purchased from the bigger chains such as Mens Wearhouse and Jos. A Bank. What was immediately apparent to me is that the staff at Nick's is well-trained and managed. They are professional yet friendly but gave us NO pressure at all. They offered thoughtful opinions, and they know how to make you look GREAT by selecting the proper fit and style. The math was simple for us, the cost to pay for renting a suit at Men's Wearhouse, is as much or MORE than what the total outfit will cost you at Nick's Menswear for something you will be able to KEEP, wear again and anyone who's ever rented one of the Mens Wearhouse getups knows they don't ever fit nearly as well as a custom tailored suit. Finally by using Nick's we were supporting a local business! Because we were so impressed with our suits from Nick's we also used Nick's for my father and brother. Both have somewhat "atypical-shaped" bodies and the other challenge was timeline--they waited until the day before the wedding to get suited up--but it was NO challenge for Nick and his team. Immediately after they flew into town I ran them down to the store. Josh met us with his associates and had my dad and brother measured and suits picked out in under 45 minutes. Josh had the suits tailored in-house with a nominal "rush" fee and they were ready exactly when he said they would be, the very next day. We couldn't have been happier with our experience at Nick's. I came here to get a few suits. One for a friend's wedding and others for work, etc. The gentleman that I dealt with was fast and courteous. He gave me exactly what I asked for in terms for cost, fit, and look. I then had them tailored to fit which cost a bit more. After wards, the store owner recommended some additional modifications that made sense and I tailored it again. The cost was what I had expected and a little more but the suits came out fine. Noticed this place, by just walking by one day. Being that I have never actually officially measured myself for a dress shirt...I walked in thinking that I could just get measured and be on my way. Nick was the first to greet me, and he did definitely exceeded expectations. Turns out, I'm an odd size...but this store had what I needed. I'm a 16 in the neck, and a 36/37 in the sleeves. 9/10 times, the average place will NOT have this size...and this place did. Not only did they carry many different sizes that are rare, they had plenty to choose from...and it honestly didn't break the wallet. If you buy 2 shirts, you get them for $20 each. I'd definitely go back, and pay that price to find a shirt that fits me perfect. They have plenty of deals on shirts, ties, bow ties, full suits, pants, and much more. My boyfriend and I had a "gala" to attend for work and were under a time crunch. He thought Nick's Menswear would be a good option (awesome prices, quick tayloring, lots of color choices for shirts, good tie selection). We went in and were met by Thomas Skipper. Within 5-10 minutes he'd found the perfect cut for the suit jacket. I'm a control freak and Skipper did great with it...answered my questions and explained why he recommended the specific cut of suit. A few more minutes and my guy was in the suit and having measurements taken. We were literally in and out within 20 minutes and were able to pick up the suit the next day (we paid a small "rush fee" for the tayloring). I can't speak highly enough about Skipper. Solid knowledge, expertise, amazing service and SO fast! He made what I thought would be a nightmare shopping trip into an enjoyable experience...and my guy looks amazing. read more

I came to town for a funeral and halfway into our 15 hour drive my husband realizes he forgot his dress pants. We went in there and were instantly greeted and found pants in his size. Absolutely dreaded buying a new suit. But I had no choice as my younger son is getting married in 2 weeks. My wife almost had to drag me into this store. We met Valery, and wow did she put me at ease. What a professional! Asked my preferences, had me try on some samples and took measurements. Took all of 25 minutes. She then suggested we go have lunch and alterations would be accomplished by the time we were done eating. Mission accomplished. Returned to the store a half hour later and the fit was perfect. She also picked out a tie and pocket kerchief to complete the ensemble and had it laid out for us. Had to go for a friends wedding. First time I went, my suit fit perfect, the groomsmen's suits fit perfect, everything was perfect. A little pricey, but at least the suit looked good. After a $50 down payment, I went later to finish paying it off and pick up the suit. Turns out the second time I tried it on, the suit was not perfect and needed some adjustments. The collar on my shirt was waaaaayyyy to big, it did not fit like that the first time I tried it on. Well they charge $10 for every adjustment needed to be made. Seemed so strange that my suit fit so well one day, but afterwards the measurements were completely off. I paid them and after accepting my money they never even took my measurements so I don't know how they fixed the needed "adjustments". This seemed a little fishy so I called all 7 of the other groomsmen. Every single one of them needed "adjustments" as well, even though the suits were correct the first time we all went. Some of them needed over 5 things changed so $50 were added to their bills. This scam does not pass by me well. They completely messed up my point of view on them just because they wanted a few extra bucks on top of the $200+ suits they sold to 8 of us. Not sure if anybody else had this experience, but I would suggest you go to Men's warehouse instead of this place. You might be one of the lucky groups they want to scam. read more

I thought I was very happy with this place but there are a few things that I was not happy with. They were great until after the event. One of my groomsman' shirt was not tailored correctly with the sleeves. The night of the wedding as he was taking the suit off the vest ripped. When he called about it they wanted to charge $40. He wore it for a few hours and it ripped and they want to charge $$ for it!! My husbands pants also ripped at the seam. I'm very unhappy with this!!! read more

I had to get a suit for a new job I was starting in a couple days and everywhere I went I couldn't get the right size or anybody to help me. I had given up hope till I happened to find this store and Tory came in and saved the day!
