With that being said, the guy that works here is an absolute miserable person. To explain, I went to pick up a scorecard and he flipped out. He yelled and said that "he was the only one allowed to touch the scorecards". This is a mini golf course, not the Masters. Furthermore, he wouldn't let you pick your own club so my club was way too short for me. On top of that, he let way too many people on the course at once and it was impossible to move. It took almost two hours to finish the course. Also, when I was in the middle of a hole, the guy came out with leaf blower and was holding everyone up. Just an unbelievable experience. In the same manner, the course itself was not good. To clarify, the course was extremely hilly and the greens were uneven. The golf balls would just roll by themselves. In addition, the course was only designed for right handed players. There were several holes where you couldn't even hit as a lefty due to trees and bushes. It was simply a poorly designed course. In all, Shell We Golf is one of the worst mini golf courses that I've ever played due to poor design and rude employees.

My adult family and I did the 5 ride pack so we did each course once, than chose our favorites to do a second time. Any more than that would've been too much for us, but most people that were there had the 8 ride bracelet. Some of the races we thought too many people were on the track, but some people think it's more fun that way. We are all a bit sore the next day (bruised knees and backs from the force of the karts). The carts are small so anyone over 6' might have a tough time fitting.

The kids ordered the Kraft Mac n cheese which they enjoyed and I have to admit being from South Jersey near the Philly area the cheesesteak I ordered was indeed sliced ribeye on a delicious Liscio roll. Definitely a south Philly competitor. I remember mentioning to my buddy who graciously lent me his condo for the week to enjoy with the kids, who recommended dining here what a wonderful experience this was and he said when he took his brother, he was so surprised a bowling alley was capable of delivering such a wonderful dining experience.

The only way this doesn't happen is if you go very slow - so if you use the body mat...go slow. They have signs every with rules and warnings - which I do appreciate. This is probably an insurance requirement. I don't appreciate the sign that says if you bring outside food or drink in you'll get kicked out. For a family place - this seems kinda harsh. If you need to feed your children - you have to feed your child out of ur trunk. They do this to sell their overpriced pretzels and warm soggy fries. This is really the thing that bothers me. It really is a fun family inexpensive spot to bring your family.

I appreciate it here because there's an 80's and 90's retro feel with the gaming selection and atmosphere, which is nostalgic and I enjoy. This is one of few examples of a business that doesn't invest in major upgrades over time and it pays off as the aging interior produces character. There's a variety of retro and contemporary games here. They have good prizes here for young and older players and the machines are not stingy with awarding winnings. Especially the mechanical claw machine games which seemed to be very generous in awarding winnings. The attendants were also friendly and especially when exercising patience with kids taking their time to peruse prize options. Overall a good experience and I will visit again when at Rehoboth Beach.
