With that being said, the guy that works here is an absolute miserable person. To explain, I went to pick up a scorecard and he flipped out. He yelled and said that "he was the only one allowed to touch the scorecards". This is a mini golf course, not the Masters. Furthermore, he wouldn't let you pick your own club so my club was way too short for me. On top of that, he let way too many people on the course at once and it was impossible to move. It took almost two hours to finish the course. Also, when I was in the middle of a hole, the guy came out with leaf blower and was holding everyone up. Just an unbelievable experience. In the same manner, the course itself was not good. To clarify, the course was extremely hilly and the greens were uneven. The golf balls would just roll by themselves. In addition, the course was only designed for right handed players. There were several holes where you couldn't even hit as a lefty due to trees and bushes. It was simply a poorly designed course. In all, Shell We Golf is one of the worst mini golf courses that I've ever played due to poor design and rude employees.

The downside is that it's very expensive to enter $50 a person even for children. They also make people pay to enter the park even if they're not going to use any of the water amenities. I paid $50 to sit and watch my children play in and out of the water for five hours. they do not allow any outside food or drink. all of the employees are very friendly, and the lifeguards are very attentive.

We arrived at 10:20 am (they opened at 10) and went right up to buy the full day pass. This allowed us all day access to the water park, and 4 ride tickets and mini golf. The go karts had zero wait times and the boys working were all helpful and nice. We did 2 rides and then went to the water park. TONS of available tables all with umbrellas. The mountain slides were a lot of fun as were the regular water slides. Lazy River was a hit and when I just wanted to cool off alone, I went into the pool because it wasn't busy. The nice thing about the water park is you can come and go with the wrist band. We stayed for about 2 hours and left to eat lunch at another place, then drove back and finished our final go kart rides, did mini golf and spent another 2 hours at the water park. A lot of parking options. The bathroom stalls are a little difficult to get in and out of because the doors swing in almost hitting the toilet. My kids and I had a great time! All of the lifeguards were great, to be honest the only somewhat unfriendly person was the older lady working the ticket booth upon arrival.

I have a problem with one of the slides - since it's made of concrete. The body slide mat is used on a slide that is cement. I got cement burn on my way down. The only way this doesn't happen is if you go very slow - so if you use the body mat...go slow. They have signs every with rules and warnings - which I do appreciate. This is probably an insurance requirement. I don't appreciate the sign that says if you bring outside food or drink in you'll get kicked out. For a family place - this seems kinda harsh. If you need to feed your children - you have to feed your child out of ur trunk. They do this to sell their overpriced pretzels and warm soggy fries. This is really the thing that bothers me. It really is a fun family inexpensive spot to bring your family.

This is one of few examples of a business that doesn't invest in major upgrades over time and it pays off as the aging interior produces character. There's a variety of retro and contemporary games here. They have good prizes here for young and older players and the machines are not stingy with awarding winnings. Especially the mechanical claw machine games which seemed to be very generous in awarding winnings. The attendants were also friendly and especially when exercising patience with kids taking their time to peruse prize options. Overall a good experience and I will visit again when at Rehoboth Beach.

They are celebrating their 40th anniversary, however, this location is closing at the end of the summer season for building renovations. There are several retro and contemporary games to play here. They have fun prizes for young and older players. The attendants are also friendly and exercise patience when dealing with kids at the ticket redemption station. The staff are nice and patient. The prizes are pretty expensive ticket wise but that's not super surprising for an arcade. Not much you can get that's worth it. My son got a Pokémon card deck and did not like any of the cards. They have very off putting prizes as well that should be removed. Clearly they are on tr*mp's d*** that's pretty embarrassing for them. I would recommend Fun Land moving forward.
