The Jolly Roger Water Park is a day of water filled activities. Great family fun for all ages. The…read morestaff is very friendly and helpful should you need directions (for food or lockers). They have tons of people on staff so we always felt safe in the water attractions. The lockers were clean and the bathrooms vs changing rooms were separate which helps maintain the cleanliness of the place. Prices of the locker were reasonable. Lazy river was the most relaxing but my kiddos really enjoyed the wave pool and the climbing apparatuses. Fun spot to keep cool in the summer sun and generally, a nice open space. There are two sides to the park, lockers on both. Food is served on one side only, think hot dogs and ice cream. Otherwise, you're allowed to leave the park and bring food in from the adjacent Jolly Roger theme park. They are literally next to one another. Best part for those that just want to take a dip and then get some sun, plenty of lounge chairs available with and without shade as needed. I did come during the Summer 2021 (Aug./Sept. 1st week) during the pandemic but I felt very safe and socially distanced from others. It was not crowded either but I'm betting during the normal summer months, it could be much more packed. I guess I lucked out on the timing. POP tickets gets you admission to multiple parks or you can choose a combo ticket for select parks. My family and I scored a coupon at our local hotel and the Town Tourist catalog. Be sure to check, saves money on admission. Plus, our combo ticket got us a free game of mini golf. The tickets also allow you to do multiple days so they don't expect you to finish all the parks in a day (you just can't, but enough hours in the day). LOL They are located just before the Speedway Park which is also a blast!

And we were not disappointed at all! this place is not on a huge lot however they have a ton of great rides and plenty of places to just enjoy the water on this lot. They also offer a military discount. The rides were great the lines were never too long and there was plenty a great customer service to go around. I really liked how serious the lifeguards took their jobs. I would recommend this place to any family on vacation in Ocean City or locals, go check them out!!

Horrible experience solely due to the arrogant, insulting, disrespectful, condescending, and…read morefrankly illogically stupid "head of security" under Britney Teagues or Britney T. First off there are not nearly enough bathrooms, especially in the adult bar section. Second, when we asked for one, we were told to go out the glass doors. When we tried coming back in a security guard magically appeared saying we had to go back around to the front even though there was no signage saying we had to and despite the actual waterpark staff telling us to use that bathroom. When we asked for the manager that's when Britney T showed up. Incredibly rude, absolutely abysmal customer service by Britney the head of security. She showed up with aggressive attitude, escalating instead of calming the situation, telling, telling us we lacked common sense. She said she wasn't responsible for us not seeing the sign until we left (what the fuck, her logic is room temp iq levels) and that's the way it was. She made my girlfriend feel u safe and forced her to go around to the entrance again. She even said some ridiculous crazy hyperbole about how we might have razor blades in bathing suits, so we were a security risk that necessitated us to go back around. Truly horrible experience due solely to arbitrary, violent, rude worst staff on the planet. Let this serve as a warning to all Latinos and minorities, this park will disrespect you and treat you like trash, don't spend your money here.

We went on a rainy Sunday and expected it to be crowded, but we seriously underestimated just how…read morepacked it would get. We arrived right when the park opened at noon and were lucky enough to find a spot to put our things and let the kids eat. For about the first hour, we had a good time, but after that the park became overwhelmingly crowded. We got in line for the tube slides and waited about 40 minutes. During that time, we noticed there were long lines for absolutely everything the body slides, the lazy river, and even just getting tubes for the tube slides. Some of the delays seemed to come from a lack of organization, but honestly the biggest issue was simply overcrowding. By the time we got off the ride, it was difficult to even move across the park. People were leaving their belongings everywhere, and the water in the main pool which seemed to be the only pool for everyone had even changed color from how crowded and overused it was. What was most surprising was that even as the park became nearly impossible to navigate, people were still continuing to come in. It honestly made us question whether the park was properly monitoring or respecting capacity limits at all.

Raging Waters is one of the two Morey's owned waterparks on the boardwalk. If you have younger…read morekids, I would recommend this one over Ocean Oasis. I've found my kids (ages 1-14) have more to do at RW and there's a nice mix for all ages, but plenty to keep the younger ones entertained. When you pay for admission to either waterpark, the other is included. So you could easily make a whole day at the waterparks alone. You will also get free tram car rides from pier to pier with your wristband (I believe that is only until 5/6pm though!) To me, the best thing about Morey's is that they allow you to bring in coolers with food! This is crucial when you have kids and plan on spending a whole day the parks. Splash Zone Waterpark does not allow this and I found myself spending A LOT more on food there or having to leave to eat. We often will grab a few food items from their food stand and they're always good. You will pay for this though, and it's very pricey for the amount of food you get per order. Wait times can also be long, even when they aren't busy. I would personally skip the cheesesteak, you can find MUCH better ones right outside the pier on the boards for cheaper. The buffalo chicken wrap was really good and filling, though! The fries are good, big enough order to share.

I liked the water park itself but staff allowed children to run around and ruin other guests…read moreexperience. In the lazy river, kids ran around in the water (not sitting in tubes) and multiple times knocked into me or even almost pushed me under water. Lifeguards didn't even let out a single peep of the whistle to alert the children to stop.

Dropping a stars because Splash Zones pricing/advertising is ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT, and annoyingly…read moredeceptive. Because I've been there before, I'm on their stupid mailing list for "promotions" and *HARDCORE DR. EVIL AIRQUOTES* "discounts." SO, we decide to head back one day because it is a decent water park for our little one, and I see in my inbox that they are offering discounted, sorry, "discounted," tickets if you buy online. The advert mentions the price is $25.... SIKE! Gotcha, dummies. No...the price for the day we were trying to go, which was a damn Thursday, btw, was $48. But wait; what about those $25 tickets, I hear you asking. They are only for certain, specific days. Looking at the calendar, it appears that Sunday is the day with the $25 dollar tickets. "Ok, we'll just go Sunday then," says the Misses, optimistically. Wrong again. I go today to look at the SUNDAY tickets, and they are now $28 dollars. "That sucks," I hear you begin to say, "but that's still cheaper than if you buy regular price." Oh, you sweet summer child......The $28 is ONLY available if you buy online, but when you go to check out, Splash Zone chargers a, and I quote, "Online Recovery Fee," basically to recoup some of the cost of the "discounted" ticket. SO, the advertised price of $25 per ticket, which turned into $28 per ticket, is now actually $31per ticket. I HAVE to go, because of how my marriage is set up, but I hope Splash Zone enjoys my last time ever visiting their park.
