What's goodie Society TheMadScientist On the check in wit a meal JuJu and I had and YEAH it was...HMM This was a give and go (just a pick up no dine in) and took it right to the HQ. The service was good cause they had the food ready and wait'n and the look was regular Italian pizza restaurant. Support from the community pictures and sports team photos, the brick and regular white wall inside. ~~~~~~Let's GET TO THE GRUB THO~~~~~~ Okay to be honest, this PLACE is just BLAND and for the price you guys have is MADNESS (nasty work/unpleasant/disgusting). You see from the receipt what the amount is and yeah. YOU CAN GO GET THESE INGREDIENTS and MAKE IT YOURSELF. Like TheMadScientist is VEGAN AF and want to treat himself to something that HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES. And this VEGAN Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza was NOT IT. It was bland no flavor like you threw the SALT, PEPPER and OREGANO straight in the garbage. Even on the double back next day HEAT UP (oven work NO MICROWAVE) and still was on BLAND WORK. JuJu had her fave wit the Penne Vodka and she said the same...JUST TOO BLAND and NOT MEMORABLE. The only thing that was a hit was the SODA in JuJu's opinion. So that's where the extra star came from. You see the amount SOCIETY like go to your local grocery store and get the ingredients and make it from SCRATCH. You know what IMMA GO LIVE and MAKE this whole order for WAY LESS. Times is tough put here yet TheMadScientist understand the economic role of this world IF THIS IS YOUR SPOT KEEP GOING, the is just TheMadScientist OPINION about it You know the Science Stay LYT Society

Good service, clean resto and fresh foods! Parking is roadside but i guess there is some pay parking around the area. They participate in Toogoodtogo which is really nice, showing that they are against food wastage. They accept credit/debit cards. See images for further reference.

This is supposed to be spaghetti and marinara sauce. Why is there meat in it??
    Kathi C.

I ordered a side of vegan meatballs, and spaghetti with marinara sauce. The spaghetti has meat in it. That's not marinara and the pasta-with-meat is an entirely different item. I did get a refund from Grubhub but this mistake means I'll have to pay more delivery fees to get dinner. And this isn't the first mistake they've made surrounding their vegan/vegetarian items. I don't know if I can trust them to adhere to dietary restrictions. I really want to be supportive of restaurants that take vegans/vegetarians into account when designing their menus, but this is such a glaring error (and not the first one), that I don't know if I can support this one.

    Chicken cutlet from a sandwich

I was wondering why my sandwich was so tough and then decided to open it up and look at the chicken, this was the "chicken cutlet" I got on my sandwich. Was not appetizing at all and inedible. Do not recommend any chicken cutlet sandwich. UPDATE: (Edited an hr later) Just received a phone call on my personal cell while at work from the owner saying that he's unsure how to even refund me since I ordered on a mobile app and he told me that there are worse situations people are living in than a bad piece of chicken. I spent $16 dollars on this meal and just wanted to ensure I wasn't going to get sick due to this piece of chicken. I am not worried about a refund or a complimentary meal, but now I am annoyed I am receiving personal calls to tell me that people in squalor would still eat this chicken so I shouldn't complain. Never leaving my number on an online order ever again, didn't think I would receive multiple calls and a voicemail while at work from a business owner but hey I guess there's always a kicker. Here's the voicemail, have a good week!

The restaurant itself is on a nice strip of stores and restaurants with street parking available. They have outdoor seating if that's your thing. Indoors is nice and there were plenty of tables and chairs. The drink cooler has sodas, teas, juice, sparkling water--a good blend of choices. Some of the sodas are Massa branded which was kind of cool. I personally got a Diet Coke, my bestie got a sparkling blood orange water, and her husband got the orange soda. For pizza, I got a slice of clams and a slice of carciofo. Clams was good, but the artichoke was tastier. Either way, the crunch and softness of the dough was out of this world. Dough REALLY makes the pizza and this was no exception. It was really perfect. Unfortunately, I don't live here in order to get this all the time, otherwise I would. This was FANTASTIC. We also got suppli which were also good. I do recommend these. Reminds me of something my mom would make when I was growing up. Service was fast and friendly. Nothing negative to say at all. Wish I lived here because I would get this weekly very easily. It's probably the best kind of pizza I've ever had.

Instead he just whined lmao so I made us a reason. I wanted to go to Sierra f0r mY biRthDaY tRiP t0 AcaDiA (3 years running) so I chose a spot near there based on Yelp. Very meta. It was our first time so I had limited expectations other than price. I was right lol. $38 dollars later... This place specializes in Roma pizza and my only barometer for that is all the influencers going to Italy and complaining that the pizza looks "different" than here in the US. The gag is it always looked good to me so I was hype to try it as Massa. It kinda gives focaccia pizza and Massa does some really nice flavors. The slices are set up almost like a bakery - complete with the panic/relief that sets in when the person ahead of you takes the last slice of crumb cake. But then you see a fresh pan coming out the oven. We got: -cremini mushroom -pesto -hot honey pepperoni (The Stevearoni I think and the one someone grabbed the last slice of before me) -diavola aka spicy soppressata. We split a beet, walnut, and goat cheese salad and a Diet Coke. It was so good. Crunchy, crispy, flavorful, and yes different. We loved it. The salad was fresh, perfectly dressed and bright. Overall Impressions: -clean aesthetic and actually just clean -great food -good seating This would be a 5 star experience (instead of 4.5) if the staff was more outwardly friendly. They weren't rude or anything but a hello and goodbye is what separates this place from my local spot that is 2 miles away instead of 15 and $20 instead of $40. We look forward to returning - not every week at these prices but at least once a month. Delicious!

A $25 Reuben should be amazing. My bread was greasy and soggy because they couldn't take the time strain the sauerkraut. The dry turkey meat was lumped in the middle of the sandwich. It was small. I guess they are putting the $$$ increases on their customers and lowering the quality of their food. My sandwich was so disgusting and in soggy pieces I had to throw it out ! $50 for two sandwiches and they were awful. I don't mind paying good money for good food. But this was far from that. After speaking with the owner, I was shocked and appalled that he was so careless in his business. He was more concerned about himself and his profit margin. I work hard for my money too. When I told him I was not happy he told me that I should take it to yelp and write a review if that's what I felt like I needed to do. So here it is. Hands-down the worst sandwiches I've ever had. Definitely has gone down hill. If there are three customers in your store and there's five people working the very least you could do is make a decent sandwich. I will not be returning to Goodmans. I do not recommend it. The place is empty, dingy, and the food was garbage.

New to the neighborhood and had been meaning to stop by and we finally did!…read more It was after dinner time so I didn't ask about the food in the back - but I hear the sandwiches here are great so I'll probably go for one eventually after I figure out what we can have, if anything. The place has its own ample parking lot and is quite cute. It is small though and has some fresh produce, dairy, and pantry items at the front, but nothing extensive. Having said that, they had bags of allergen-friendly bread crumbs made without eggs (we haven't seen this before anywhere) which I purchased for my kid with multiple food allergies. Towards the middle, there are baked goods.. cookies, cakes, bread, pies. Something to note: everything has a sticker with "Tom The Green Grocer" on them (or other stickers if it's not made there... I'm assuming the items with their sticker means they're made there) but there are no ingredients listed at all. No names either and if there are, it's generic like "assorted cookies" and the pies had the name written on the boxes (peach, forest fruit, mixed berry, blueberry crumble, apple crumble, pumpkin - off the top of my head). I ended up buying a peach pie for just under $25 each. At the back of the store, there are the prepared foods, cake slices, and sandwich counter. My daughter was eyeing the Oreo cake slices but I didn't get one for her on this trip. The slices are not equally sized and wrapped in cellophane; I noticed some are slightly bigger than others. I'm sure I'll get one for her eventually and I'll report back on that once I do. I'm under the impression a lot of people that go there are regulars. The employees there are... there somewhere (they sort of blend in... I didn't really notice a uniform). We weren't greeted when we came in and weren't asked if we needed any help. It might be because they didn't know, since the cash register has the cashier facing away from the door, but as we walked around, it seemed like people became sparse. Service was lackluster and I don't actually recall a smile. Luckily, when I finally grabbed what I was planning on buying, a new employee was manning the cash register. She answered questions with direct answers, no elaboration. I'm still not sure if the answers were adequate, haha. I had asked what was in the Forest Fruit Pie and she mentioned blueberries and strawberries. Then I asked what was in the Wild Berry Pie and she said "berries." I sort of gave up on it after that and just checked out. An intriguing little neighborhood food-centric shop. I wish they listed out the ingredients on all their baked goods and prepared food and they were a little friendlier and helpful. Even so, I'm sure I'll return again to ask my detailed questions to see if we can have any of their sandwiches. Note: the peach pie we got was quite good and yielded 8, decent sized slices. It was glued to the pie pan (I believe the filling bubbled through and got between the pie and the pan) so none of our slices are whole since we need to scrape the bottom out, but they aren't too sweet, the filling doesn't taste artificial, and the crust is nice and flaky/tender. I'm hoping the fact it was stuck to the pan is a one off and they usually aren't like this. The next time I get a craving for pie, I'll go back for round two and I'll be sure to note whether or not that one is stuck to the pan.
