    Chicken "Milanese"--basic cooking technique errors

Absolutely disgusting waste of money just delivered to my door. Rotten lettuce, soggy bread and BASIC frozen chicken. Had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich instead. Skip Nicks.

What a great find. We were driving home from Fort Lauderdale and wanted to try a new pizza place. I did some quick searches and I had Nicks pizza tagged so went for it. They had a connection to a pizza ordering app so I downloaded that and ordered the pizza. I showed up right as it was done so I got to bring home a piping hot pie. It was a quick pickup, When I walked in the fella working the front made quick eye contact,, asked for a name, and boom, I was out the door. It's located in a nice spot off Dixie that we may have to come back just to walk around and enjoy the small town main street vibe it had. But we had our pizza, and what a pie it was! we handpicked our toppings. They are a traditional spot so they dont have a supreme necessarily on the menu. But they had a pick your toppings and we got a few different things. The ingredients were all excellent, from the peperoni to the mushroom's to the olives. Always nice to find a new pizza place that you can count on for good zza.

First time trying Nick's pizza and I must say I'm impressed. It's very fresh, thin crust with crunch outside of it and not that greasy which is a plus. Your typical New York style pizza. Next time I want to try their Sicilian style pizza and maybe a calzone.

My family and I have been getting pizza from Nick's for the past 5 years since we have moved to Deerfield Beach. It is our go to on Friday Night. Service is great, staff is wonderful but the pizza is the best in the area. There are like 22 pizza places in the general area and we have tried a majority of them. Either dining in or take out the pizza is perfect. We always have leftovers for the next day and it's even good the next day cold. If you haven't tried Nick's yet, you must.... We always get a cheese pizza and a pizza with sausage, mushrooms, onions & black olives and an order of garlic rolls.

This is the ONLY ITALIAN RESTAURANT in the Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach & Boca Raton, FL area that serves food NY style. No question. I've been living in this area for 7 years and everyone else serves Dog Food and their pricing is way out of control not knowing how good their food is. If it doubt, read my "Amelia Brooklyn Pizza" review!!! Really!!!! This is a restaurant based from a Brooklyn family. Their sauce is amazing and their portions huge. Too bad their menu has gone up in price like everything else with today's economy. Because at one point it wasn't expensive at all! Ex - Baked Ziti was $13.99. Now $16.99. I just called and verified the price compared to what says on Yelp and yes is $16.99. I may as well get steak in a steak restaurant . Italian food like Latin Food is cheap and not expensive!! Overall, I checked their menu online and unfortunately their prices are pretty close to a high end restaurant for 2022. So as much as I love this place, I won't be there in quite a while!!!! or at all! I'll never pay with tax close to $20 for Baked Ziti!!! But anyrate, if you want thin Pizza NY Style or dishes NY style, look no further!!! This is IT! Believe me in the perimeter where I live thanks to a friend, I discovered this hidden Italian Food gem in Deerfield Beach, FL. Again, we live in a country where food has increased but our wages has stayed the same! Absolutely, love Nick's Pizza! Ray St John

I've recently discovered Nick's while I was working in the neighborhood and it's become one of my favorite places to go.. chicken parm is DELICIOUS, excellent waitstaff, kind and friendly service. A real gem out in Deerfield!

(Rhyme somewhat intentional). Brusco's is located in a small strip plaza on Federal Highway. There's plenty of parking, and the restaurant is unassuming from the outside. When we entered, our waitress, Sue, greeted us kindly and let us choose our table. Brusco's has a sizable menu with an excellent price point. I believe most of the entrées come with your choice of salad or soup. Be sure to check out the specials menu hanging by the door as there were lots of excellent offerings. In fact, I went with one of the specials, Lemon ricotta pappardelle pasta. The pasta is made in house, and you can tell it is fresh upon the first bite. The sauce was light, and the dish was presented beautifully. My husband went with the eggplant Parmesan, and he ordered a reasonably-priced side of sausage. (A diner sitting next to us, told us that the owner and chef makes his own sausages on site..) His eggplant came with a choice of pasta. He was very pleased with his dish. The portions were quite generous, and we were able to take leftovers home for lunch the next day. Sue was very attentive and made our meal quite enjoyable. We will be happily adding Brusco's to our restaurant rotation when in the mood for Italian food.

I ordered the Tomato Cream Gnocchi and my boyfriend had the Mediterranean Combo. No exaggeration but this was the best gnocchi I've ever had. The dish changed my view on gnocchi and I'm now a converted fan. The texture was pillow soft with a bit of spring. The magic of this dish is how simple yet delicious it is. I loved a simple dish done well. The Mediterranean combo was a special of the night and it came with prawns, branzino, fried anchovies, and a salad. The combo was also just as goods. The seasoning was yet again, simple but delicious. The prawns were succulent, fish was high quality, and the fried anchovies surprised me. I loved all the proteins. I also tried the squid ink pasta and the seafood linguini. Both were good but the squid ink pasta was unique. I can't put my finger on the flavor but I liked it. Service was incredible and the chef was kind. He came out to talk to us and explained some of the dishes. The restaurant is homey and cozy. I felt like I was in Sicily. Overall, I highly recommend Savia. I can't wait to come back and try more.

We were back in town visiting friends, and after a neighboring restaurant said they couldn't seat us, we walked around the corner and sat down for a nice meal. We got the wings and a couple slices of pizza. The wings were baked and were so good. The pepperoni pizza was great after I used a napkin to pick up some of the grease and added Parmesan cheese with chili flakes. Seriously...we got stuffed for under $30...down by the beach. The service was also amazing. Very polite and prompt. Everything was clean. Great people watching. Two people can have lunch here for under $30...or $50 for dinner.

But that being said I feel it totally ridiculous to be charging the patron eight dollars to park in the lot that belongs to them. I can't understand the happy hour menu being more than the regular menu. For example, if eggplant rollatini is $10 for happy hour price for one and $16 regular price for two. What would stop two people to order the regular menu and split it it would be four dollars less than the happy hour menu. The menu prices were ridiculous priced for the amount of food that was received specially pasta. Everything that we ordered was so salty that it ruined the flavor of each dish. Not only that I will try to forward pictures at 6:30 at the restaurant on this evening and show you. We were the only table in the restaurant. The waiter couldn't even pour the olive oil in our side plate didn't even offer us pepper or cheese and when I asked for the pepper, he just handed me a pepper and salt shaker on the table. I can expect this in a diner, but not a high-end restaurant. This is a restaurant more geared Tourist not the locals who live here all year long. For an Italian restaurant, the wine list was not as complete as the surrounding restaurants in that area. I wish them the best of luck, but they really need to rethink the menu and maybe next time or when you do have time to work with the chef on flavoring dishes
