We came to Patrizia's to try their grilled octopus. We were seated right away, but waited 5 minutes for anyone to bring water, and another 5 minutes for our server to even come to our table. I wasn't very happy about that. Unfortunately, the octopus wasn't very good. The portion size and price is great, but it was very chewy and had a weird texture as well. I was very disappointed. We decided to stay for dinner because I just didn't want to look for another place. I got the gnocchi. It was OK, the sauce wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad. My husband got the ribeye steak which comes with roasted potatoes. He asked for it medium, but they cooked it a little too much. My husband isn't the send back type, so he ate some of it. Most of the food came home with us. Not sure if it will be eaten, but it was too much leftovers to trash. Service was bare minimum. The place was nicely decorated for Valentine's Day though. This place is Bright and busy and was definitely shortstaffed on Sunday night. The server, Brad, was actually quite good. The food and the speed at which it came out of the kitchen were not. On a positive side, the baked clams were fine. They use large clams and don't chop them, but they were tasty. My friend's iced tea was truly terrible and we sent it back. He thought it tasted soapy. I couldn't quite discern what was wrong with it, but it wasn't good. The bread is OK but way too soft no crust whatsoever and therefore mediocre. The pasta fagoli soup was the worst I've ever had. I don't know that Campbell's make such soup and mean no slander to Campbell's, but if they did and you added five cans of water instead of just one to the condensed, you might have what these people were serving. It went back to. The veal Parm that we each ordered came with penne and I have to say we both managed to eat it. My friend actually ate all of his veal. I ate about half. It was not as good as other Italian restaurants in town that I've been to. It wasn't as good as Olive Garden. I won't be back. read more

We were at the Cove brewery next to this place and I had a craving for pizza and this was an easy choice. I ordered a star pizza to go and it came out quick and delicious with a generous stuffing of ricotta and full of arugula. I went a little after 9pm on a Friday night and the restaurant was almost empty. Maybe most guests come early. The restaurant is pretty spacious and could be a great place for big families. I took my family here to celebrate my retirement. I made a reservation and asked them to make sure I got the check. I was grateful they did as I asked. The food was really delicious. My vegetarian son and grandson had the ravioli. They both enjoyed it, but my son could have had more, he was still hungry. My daughter in law had the chicken parm with a side of pasta and the cutlet was bigger than her head. My sister and I had chicken francaise, which consisted of 2 cutlets and a side of spinach. It was really good, and we both took home leftovers. My other son had a veal dish which he said was amazing. We had calamari and Burrata stuffed with ricotta as appetizers and both were soooo good. So far, so good! I've been twice, each time sat at the bar. Tommy the bartender is a pro; engaging, quickly serving everyone at a pack bar and not forgetting your drink order! Both times I ordered dinner but the happy hour menu looked great with large portions, each was priced about $8. I ordered veal piccata, light lemon caper sauce with a side of angel hair pasta. Veal medallions were cooked well, not tried or tough. Everything came out promptly and was cooked correctly. My experience here was slightly different as I came for a large birthday dinner. There were multiple pizzas, calamari and eggplant rollatini passed around to begin with. Then we were able to order our own entrees so I chose the money bags. My friends come here often so I took their recommendation and it did not disappoint. There was only one waiter for our entire party and he did great. He was attentive and made sure our drinks were full. I had an espresso martini and spicy marg. It's a great place for parties because they have the birthday music playing and come out with sparkling dessert. It makes the celebration even better. Food was good but well overpriced. Service has potential (servers are all Italian) but was slow and not very responsive given the price point. They totally forgot to bring my daughter's drink and it was on the bill (taken off once we said something). The decor inside is pleasant and it's spacious and open feeling, but the music is WAY too loud! We seriously felt like we were in a dance club at 1 am but it was 7pm. The loud music made our meal completely unenjoyable and $32 for chicken fettuccini Alfredo (with no salad) is quite rediculous. I came here with a group of people for their happy hour. We sat in the bar area. They offer $8 cocktails & wines/beer. I had the espresso martini which was perfect. The Ladies next to me had the spicy Margarita which is made with passion fruit puree. Their happy hour also includes some food such as their Pizza, which looked amazing, Chicken parmigiana panini, calamari and meatballs. I have the meatballs (2) which comes with a side serving of ricotta cheese. The Meatballs were very tasty and a good size as they filled me up. Our bartender Tim was great. I had high hopes for Patricia's with its multiple locations up north and now here in South Florida. I went to the Deerfield location with a group of 10. They have great happy hour specials. I ordered a strawberry basil martini. No basil was included. It tasted like strawberry syrup. It was quite possibly the worst drink I ever had. The food is mediocre at best. The margarita pizza was average. The sweet and spicy wings were more like something you would get at a Chinese restaurant rather than an Italian. I gave this place 2 stars for the atmosphere because it is a cute place. The bar and restaurant is an inviting area. There is a big celebration for birthdays with music and everyone waving their napkins in the air. It has potential but only if they get their drink and food game together. read more

Such a fun evening at Patrizia's! I attended a UYE put on by Ariel W. There were both Elites and non-elites. We had a really nice long table and Ariel outdid herself decorating for Valentine's day. It was all so cute! I arrived late and decided to have an appetizer off meatballs. My expectations were blown out of the water. The meatballs came out quickly and had a dallop of ricotta cheese on top. They were warm and delicious. They were neither too dense nor too soft. The sauce was perfect and I liked that there was extra in the bowl for dipping the meatballs in. The staff had brought complimentary bread and it was also nice with the sauce. The music was happy and loud. Birthdays were being celebrated all around the restaurant. It was a blast clapping along and waving our cloth napkins as the staff sang each time. Our family of 5 chose Patrizia's at Deerfield Beach. From the outside, it looked like fun. We were seated in an open area near the middle of the restaurant. The staff were wiping the air conditioning ductwork sweat from dripping. It was somewhat loud, but there were few customers. It was hard to hear. The wait staff were nice and polite. We ordered Chicken Marcelo, Chicken Pasta, Clams, and an Alfredo pasta. Every chicken dish had a bad taste and requested it be removed. 3 dinners were removed and 1 was replaced with a pasta dish. 2 drinks of lemonade were ordered and tasted terrible, undrinkable. I received the tab after requesting credit for 3 chicken dinners. Two dinners credited. I paid $25 pp + tip for a failed family dinner. This place deserves two stars for the staff keeping us dry and being polite during a disaster and disappointing time. read more

What a great experience I had Saturday night. Great location and parking is ample. The place is an open concept and there was a DJ spinning old school music. Not too loud and was able to have a conversation with friends while enjoying the music. I had the baked clams and delicious!!! For dinner i had eggplant parmigiana with penne. Again...delicious! Immediately entered a "night club" scene at 7PM on a Saturday. The music was BLARING beyond necessity! We couldn't hear each other speak without leaning half way across the table. Honestly obnoxious for wanting to have a nice dinner. On top of the blaring music, they played the same "Chuckie cheese" type birthday song OVER AND OVER anytime a table was celebrating a birthday. The food was extremely underwhelming. My husband ordered the carbonara and the sauce was broken which made the dish nothing but a bowl of oil. I visited another Patrizia's while in New York two years ago and it was a great experience. I was so happy to see this location in my neighborhood. They have been open since November last year. It was a totally different experience, but the food and service were very good. We ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and a salad to share. The 12" pizza was plenty for two of us as well as the salad which had candied walnuts, green apples and gorgonzola. We chose our pizza toppings as this pizza was not listed on the menu. I would go back and try other dishes to see how they compared to the New York location but regardless, the pizza was the best Ive had in a while! I heard about this place from a buddy of mine Dan. He LOVED it BUT he ate at the lauderdale location. I think thats where i went wrong! I booked a table for 5 pm and my guest was an hour and a half late...While I waited I orered the baked clams ..I thought they would taste a little more oreganotto but they fell short. I asked for a shaker of oregano to add to the clams. It didnt help. While the serving was 8 little neck clams (i ate 5) I was not impressed at all. I wanted to taste oregano ,,,and I didnt. The bread they provided with the olive oil dip was outstanding but man can not live on bread alone.. my entree consisted of a salad that had a lovely crumbled gorganzola and sliced granny smith apples and pecans or maybe walnuts. It was DELICIOUS and for my entree I ordered the grilled octopus. I hated it. It was dry and spongy. I couldnt eat it and they took it off my bill. My guest paula had the sole and she loved it. It was laid upon a bed of spinach with a few shrimp on top but she complained that there was too much sauce on the plate. I asked if it was the same sauce that they served with the baked clams because it looked exactly like it. Our server corey was a good server and was there every step of the way refilling our water and explaining things as we ordered. He was a nice guy but a nice guy doesnt make a great dinner. It was paulas birthday so they came out singing and twirling napkins with a huge sparkler! It was festive and guests that were leaving wished her a happy birthday! For dessert we both had the spumoni. It was ok and fresh. Thats chocolate and vanilla ice cream with a chocolate coat that was cut into 4 slices with some whip cream. I am going to try the lauderdale location to be fair. While only eating a few small clams a salad and ice cream that night for dinner just fell flat for me. This restaurant, Patrizia's of New York is a welcome addition to the the cove shopping center in Deerfield Beach. They've only been open here about a week. They have several restaurants in New York. In Florida, there's one other in Fort Lauderdale. Some friends of ours had told us about the Fort Lauderdale one and raved about their food, so we were excited to hear that another Patrizia's had opened closer to us. We came today for lunch and sat at the bar. We got to meet Brittany, our personable bar tender/server. They have a lunch express menu with a goodly number of different meal choices, but you can also order off their regular menu. They brought warm, freshly baked rustic bread and garlicky seasoned dipping oil and grated cheese for us to enjoy while we waited for our food to arrive. I had their chicken francaise. The large portion consisted of two medallions of lightly coated chicken breasts in a lemony sauce. It had just the right amount of lemon! It came with a side of penne pasta topped with marinara. I would have normally chosen it plain to dip the penne into the lemon sauce, but wanted to try their marinara. My husband got the pappardelle bolognese. The al dente pasta tasted house made The sauce was meaty and had bit of carrots for sweetness and texture. He liked it so much he ate the entire serving!! We went here as guests and our hosts ordered the FAMILY STYLE DINNER. It's a boatload of appetizers, multiple entrees, pasta, and then desserts. To top off the feast, it includes beer and wine, and even coffee afterwards. We were super impressed with the quality of all of the food, as well as the quantity. Their first Florida location opened on April 7, 2021 in Ft. Lauderdale Galt Ocean Mile restaurant in the former Jackson's Prime Steakhouse. Patrizia's did so well in Florida that they opened this second Soflo location in October of 2022 in the Cove Shopping Center of Deerfield. I was thinking of hosting a UYE and my friend Holly suggested Patrizia's where she had recently dined. It ended up being the perfect place. There is plenty of free parking in the Cove although it was a bit crowded when I arrived on a Friday night. Some of our group showed up early to enjoy their happy hour while some came just for dinner. The restaurant has a few tables set up outside on the sidewalk making Patrizia's dog friendly. When you enter the large and open restaurant the bar is on your right with a lounge area and they have a room off of that for private parties. During our visit it was occupied by a birthday party having a great night. Patrizia's is famous for their birthday celebration where the waiters sing happy Birthday while twirling napkins overhead and bringing your dessert to the table with a giant sparkler. We got to see the spectacle several times during the evening. I had previously made a reservation with managing partner Walter Orellana and when I arrived I found a great table saved for us in the center of the room with a view of the open kitchen. Patrizia's wants you to feel at home at their restaurant and to that end they serve a $55 family style meal. The rest of the menu features cocktails, wine, and beer, salads, home made pasta, fresh seafood, and Italian favorites including the famous star pizza. Waiting on the table when I arrived was bread, olive oil, and parmesan cheese. I started off with a fruit and refreshing white sangria and split the Cesar salad with my friend. For my dinner I ordered the chicken parmesan which was a giant portion of chicken cutlet smothered in sauce and cheese and served with a perfectly cooked penne. The portion was so huge I could only finish a little of it. Everyone at the table seemed to enjoy their food as well. While we dined, every few songs the music would be turned up to blast a favorite sing along like Sweet Caroline or YMCA which added to the festive atmosphere. It would have been nice to have seen a selection of the homemade desserts I had heard about but they weren't offered. The only negative thing I would say about Patrizia's is that they won't split checks. Normally that wouldn't be a problem but if you are having a lot of people paying for their own dinner then everyone has to do the math to figure out their bill and then present their card. As an educator I give our group an A plus for their math skills but it would have been better if we could have each had our own checks. Thank you to all of my sweet friends, old and new for showing up to support my first UYE. If you haven't yet tried Patrizia's, plan on it! Their second south Florida restaurant opened only 4 months after their first and based on the crowd I saw last night, this location is proving very popular. They are planning an aggressive expansion so there may be one near you shortly. Patrizia's is an excellent choice for anyone looking for delicious Italian food in a fun and lively atmosphere. I had a great dining experience at Patrizia's. The DJ was happening! I was here on a Friday night and it was like dining at a great Italian restaurant which also doubles as a club. Whenever popular karaoke type songs came on, the sound turned up and everyone was singing. Some people were actually dancing. Patrizia is the place to go for birthday celebrations. The staff comes out with a sparkling candle and sings happy birthday. There is space for large parties. The food, what about the food. Delicious!! The size of the dishes are huge. If I could give this experience a 10, I would. Ariel W organized this incredible UYE. My husband, daughter, and I came early and started the party in the bar. I had a Lychee Martini followed by another. When 7 o'clock hit, we made our way to the reserved table for 10. The table was beautifully decorated and all of us started to trickle in. The bread with olive oil with garlic and the side of parm set the mood. It was followed by hearing Neil Diamond sing Sweet Caroline. You know what happens when a room full of people hear that song don't you? I'll continue the review when the food gets here. The mushroom pasta purses are spectacular.
