I've ordered from here a few times, I would advise against ordering from their website. The soonest time it gives you to order is 30 minutes for pickup, but then they make your food right away. So if you order anything hot, you are out of luck, unless you already know to order and then go immediately (regardless of the time it tells you the food will be ready). Today I placed an order for 145 pm and called at 125 to ask if they could hold the order until 230, and they told me the food was already ready. So that means soup and french fries would be sitting for over 20 minutes. Oh, and they also refused to make the food again. Terrible service, food is 3/5 when warm. read more

ONE OF THE TOP 3 GREEK FOOD OPTIONS IN LOUDOUN COUNTY. Over the last year I've sampled about half of Nick's menu and can attest that their Greek fare is solid across the board. If you're a fan of Greek pita sandwiches (e.g., gyros, souvlaki, falafel & shawarma) you won't be disappointed. I recommend upgrading from their fries to their Fettousch salad for an extra dollar! Delicious and healthy. Their hummus is outstanding here. They give you a small portion for free along with their homemade crispy pita chips. If you're a hummus fan I recommend ordering their hummus appetizer with spiced beef. The Greek Spinach Rice (Spanakorizo) entree is a wonderful, flavorful, healthy entree that I like to order to share with others as a side dish. And their Spanakopita is outstanding here if you're a fan of that dish. For dessert, the Galaktoboureko (Greek custard pie) is a wonderful choice that is big enough to share between two people. Nick your a hot pick... I was not really craving Greek cuisine while visiting family in VA. It was the cold weather or I was lazy, I'm not sure what it was but when my family mentioned Nick's Taverna and I said meh ok whatever you guys want. Well, I'm glad my family wanted to take me here because everything was impeccable. A. Our server Ryan was great, he explained everything in detail, refilled drinks promptly and explained what could and couldn't be modified since my sister is a picky eater... B. The complimentary hummus was very popular amongst my family . My mom hates hummus but she couldn't stop eating it. It was very addicting and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. C. So my hubby got the mixed platter with many different kinds of meat cooked to perfection. Of Course, I tried his platter, more than tried but only to make sure it was good for him... My chicken wrap was nicely marinated and not overly saucey to make it soggy. D. Best part I got free dessert (chocolate cake) with checking into yelp. After working a bit later than I intended - I ate dinner here this evening. The place was sparsely populated with diners when I walked in - I opted to sit at a high top in the bar area. I was feeling in the mood for something in the Cajun arena - so I was cautiously optimistic when I saw they had fried catfish on the appetizer menu, and Jambalaya as an entree. I ordered both, along with a glass of water and a 14 oz. glass of Dominion Ale. I was pretty disappointed in both dishes - the catfish batter had almost no flavor - thankfully the spicy remoulade they provided masked the lack of any flavor. The Jambalaya was the same way. Very mild - almost no flavor. I added salt, black pepper, and quite a bit of Tabasco Sauce to give it some life. The highlight of the meal? At least the Dominion Ale was predictably refreshing! The service was attentive - no issues there. I want to like this place - it has nice ambiance, and lots of gorgeous, crystal-clear High-Def displays in the Bar area. First time dining at Nick's. The service was great. Our server was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Unfortunately, the food wasn't great though. We ordered the saganaki, which was just warm, not hot. The lamb souvlaki was very over cooked. The meat was tough and rubbery. The pastitio was also just warm. It was good but given that it is a heavy dish, I would imagine it would be served with a light side dish rather than greens beans stewed in a tomato sauce. The portion was pretty large! The new manager was so rude that they call the police on us just because my kids were playing around. And even after my kids were seating and quiet they called the cops on us and refuse service. I have been coming to this place for over 6 years and I was keep coming because how friendly the staff were. The customer service at this restaurant is discriminatory. I was in a group of 4 at the restaurant. The waitresses asked everyone at the table if they wanted refills except me. Everyone at my table was white except me. I realize all the patrons were wearing name brand fashion and they look like they had money. If you spend all your money on fashion and lv purses, the chances are they have no money. Mark zuckerberg and bill gates wear very plain clothing because they're not wasting their money on junk fashion. I'm never going to this restuarant again because they only serve white people and people they think have money. This place is delicious! We ate here (well got takeout due to COVID) and the food was SO GOOD. I always compare Greek to food to what I would get during a Greek festival and this place was pretty damn close! We got spanakopita, chicken avgolemono soup, gyro, and galaktoboureko. The spanakopita was AWESOME. If I had to make one change, I would just want MORE spinach filling! It was so so good! The phyllo was also so crispy on all sides, which is rare to get from a restaurant. The avgo soup was not my favorite, however it is hard to compare to an old Greek man at the Church's recipe. I probably wouldn't order it again, however you can tell the ingredients that were used were high quality. The gyro was also amazing! The tzatziki was delicious. It was a little heavy on the red onion, but we loooove onion so no problem there! We also got fries that were crispy on the outside and mashed potatoey on the inside. Stopped in here recently after finding the place on Yelp. We were quickly seated by a friendly host, and immediately attended to by an even friendlier waiter. The interior decor is modern and well appointed. The bar area was pretty lively with patrons watching football (and cheering their teams). We were pleasantly surprised to see that the menu wasn't just Greek food, but that it also featured Middle Eastern dishes like Shawarma and kebobs. We also were pleased to see several sampler main course dishes that allowed us to try a variety of items. I had a mixed sampler of gyro meat, chicken, and beef. Others had a variety of Shawarmas. All were served with rice, and either a salad or vegetables. We also were served complimentary hummus and chips. Food was excellent all around, especially the salad. Prices were reasonable coming it at around $15-18 an entree. Food delivery was prompt, and wait staff was attentive. I can't really ask for anything more. We'll definitely be back. What most made me a huge fan of this place was our bartender, Payson. His customer service and how personable and welcoming he was to us was amazing. Really liked this place. Came here during the snowstorm and it was pretty quiet. They give you free hummus and pita when you sit down. The appetizer platter was good, but the baba ganoush wasnt the best I've had. It was a little too salty. The dolmas were great too! The Greek salad has great big hunks of feta cheese which I love. There is a lot of space and it looks like there is a stage for live music As well. Our server was attentive and when I checked in I got a free dessert on yelp! Decor is inviting with a cozy fireplace and murals of Greek islands. Our waiter was professional, courteous and prompt. Food was delivered quickly and efficiently. Complimentary hummus with crispy pita chips was delicious as well as zucchini fritters. However, calamari and spanakopita were average at best, compared to other Greek restaurants in the area.
