very good gym, great staff, and all the machines you could ever want or need for a GREAT workout…read more The ONLY negative issue I have with this gym is the volume of the music played over the gym's overhead speakers. it is extremely loud forcing all members to increase the volume of their headphones to block out the loud music other than this issue, this gym is top-notch

This has got to be one of the worst gyms I have ever been to in my life, after years of coming here…read moreand always seeing the same terrible issues happening I have finally canceled my membership from this wretched place.... Where to start...this gym is notorious for ALWAYS having multiple machines broken..and broken for weeks and sometimes months. I remember once 2 machines broke in December and weren't fixed till mid Feb, seriously? Or they will have a machine that's actually broken for weeks but it still is useable and is missing a "broken" tag..very unsafe. Even machines that are still working simply are missing buttons or are just filthy, I don't even have to look close enough and I see machines with dust and webs around them at times.... AC has been down for most of the summer, weights are literally always all over the place, people bang weights and yell, sit on machines for an hour with their friends, there's absolutely no gym etiquette here, sometimes it smells like weed because people are childish and smoke before coming in and aren't kicked out. Bathrooms are completely smelly, disgusting and always dirty, never any toilet paper available... no matter the time - in the men's bathroom I cannot tell you how many times I've seen BOTH bathroom sinks out of order for weeks and/or clogging up... Worst of all...if you have kept reading this far...they definitely rob you. They raised my monthly payment without telling me and raised the annual club fee without telling me....what a joke! Then when I went to cancel the membership they couldn't from their system and they gave me a card to call and have to cancel online or on the phone through another system...what a joke, but if I want to get a membership or upgrade one they can do it within seconds on the spot right??... Overall - seriously, avoid this place. If you value a good comfortable gym with good working equipment and experience, this will run you mad. You're better off going to any other gym around the area that's likely cheaper..less of a headache, and alot cleaner!

You will read a variety of reviews that have varying opinions from the parking lot, to the…read moreequipment, to the restroom, and maybe it's because of a different 24 Hour Fitness I go to on my way to work, but this 24 Hour Fitness is solid. This location has its cardio equipment on the first floor with pool and bathrooms. Second floor is for the weights and classes. The weight room floor is solid, from dumbbells from 5 to 120 pounds, plenty of bench presses, squat racks, hammer strength machines, and other various machines for any body part you may want to work on. If you want to work out a certain body part, you will be able to do it here. There is not a shortage of weights, attachments for the machines, or anything for that matter. The cleanliness is pretty good inside the club. The parking is in a parking garage, which is prime, especially when it's hot and sunny outside. Overall, if this was closer to my house or on the way to work, I would go here everyday if I had the chance. It isn't a 24 hour gym, so be wary of the hours since the hours are different during the weekends than it is during the weekdays

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my recent experience at the West Covina 24 Hour…read moreFitness. After relocating to the area, I was excited to explore this gym and signed up for a free pass as advertised on your website. I even received a confirmation email with the pass. However, when I arrived, the gym manager flatly refused to honor my free pass simply because I had been a 24 Hour Fitness member in the past--even though I have never set foot in the West Covina location before! This is misleading and completely defeats the purpose of offering a free pass to "new visitors." Nowhere did it say that previous members are excluded. To make matters worse, during my brief walk-through with the manager, the gym itself felt dark and unwelcoming. I left feeling like I had wasted my time and energy.

From the moment we approached her, her attitude was rude, cold, and unwelcoming. As my friend and I were walking toward the equipment, my friend asked if I could take a tour of the gym, and she simply responded, "Okay," with no friendliness or customer service. Later, when my friend was trying to help me get a 30-day pass, she asked how I had gotten inside. Keep in mind, there was no one at the front desk when we entered, so there wasn't even an opportunity to check in. Throughout the entire interaction, her attitude remained snobby and dismissive, and there was absolutely no reason for it. What really stood out was watching her interact with men who walked into the gym afterward. Her demeanor completely changed--she smiled, greeted them warmly, and spoke to them in a much friendlier tone. It was obvious that the level of customer service she gave them was very different from how she treated me. She also had me waiting on the couch even though the manager wasn't helping anyone at the time. My friend and I asked the manager about her behavior, and he agreed there was no reason for it and said he would speak with her. No guest should be made to feel unwelcome the moment they walk through the door. A receptionist sets the tone for the entire gym experience, and everyone deserves to be treated with the same respect, professionalism, and courtesy.

Juan runs the club extremely well. The facility is always clean, the equipment is well maintained, and the atmosphere is positive and motivating. You can tell he takes pride in the gym and really values the members. What stood out the most is how approachable and helpful he is. Anytime I've had a question or needed help, Juan has been quick to assist and always goes above and beyond. It's rare to see a manager so involved and attentive. If you're looking for a gym where management truly cares and keeps things running smoothly, this location is it. Huge shoutout to Juan for doing an amazing job and creating such a great environment for everyone!

Except plot twist, homie ain't even got real equipment, he's just got YouTube pulled up on a laptop, playing "La Vaca" at a volume that could wake the dead or possibly summon them. I had my headphones cranked to max trying to drown him out and now I got tinnitus in one ear like a war veteran, except the war was Tuesday leg day. And get this, some other member told me this was just the "opening act." OPENING ACT. For a gym. There's a full DJ SET SCHEDULE at my LA Fitness now. Why is every business trying to be Coachella now? Why did Nordstrom Rack have a DJ. Why does my gym need a hype man. I just wanted to curl a dumbbell in peace, not get vibe-checked by a guy named DJ SweatSesh420 playing Bad Bunny off the LA Fitness WiFi. Should've paid the extra $30 for the soundproof headphones. Lesson learned. My ears are ringing, my ears are BLEEDING (spiritually), and I'm never gonna be able to hear "La Vaca" again without flinching. Two stars for the squat rack. Zero stars for turning leg day into a rave.
