I have taken bootcamp, combo and Cardio-climb classes with Jackie, Debbie, Vanessa and Aurion all of which have been great! I love that they correct your form and can even modify exercises if need be. I have gotten some of my best workout at this gym with these ladies! I also love that you can get an early workout in before work or they also have classes available in the evening to fit your schedule, essentially no excuses lol. I do have to say it did take about 2-3 Cardio-climb classes before I really got the hang of things. They play great music and will also show you how to use the machine properly and any tips for the best climb. Once you get the hang of it, it will easily become your favorite workout. Seriously, give it a try (it's helping to tone my whole body)! Love that they incorporate combos and everything goes to the beat of the music. I first joined The Right Fit in 2011 when it was called Debbie G fitness and let me just tell you that I had my work cut out for me my first couple of weeks, but boy did I love it. I have been a member of this gym for almost two years and this year, even with Covid, has been my most successful. They started online bootcamp classes and i decided to step out of my comfort zone to try them. I began in April and I now complete 3 classes online per week and have lost a total of 19 pounds since February. I'm stronger and leaner and am grateful for it. I used to be scare to do bootcamp classes because I thought I wouldn't be able to keep up or some moves would be too hard but not the case. I have never been the kind of person who is comfortable working with a trainer. Not just because I was self conscious about my body, but because I do not respond well to the yelling or the tough love approach that I had encountered in the past from trainers. Plus, the prices offered at health clubs are astronomical...and usually for people with certifications but no REAL education. Enter Debbie G. Debbie was a Christmas present from "Santa" in 2010 and has completely shattered every stereotype I had about trainers. No yelling or bad guy routines with her. She is straight forward and honest, gives you ALL the tools you need to reach your goals, but makes it clear that YOU are the one who has to make it happen. She can't want it for you, she can't bully it out of you...you have to be willing to do the work, and she will guide you every step of the way. On months where I back slide a little, there is no shame, she just reminds me of the steps I need to take to get back on track. So instead of leaving feeling defeated, I leave feeling empowered to keep pushing forward. I love her approach and trust her knowledge completely as she has been training for years AND has a bachelors degree in kinesiology. Experience and education! I first started training with Debbie in her morning boot camps, and lost weight quickly, but since I hate getting up early (I work nights), I started training semiprivate. You get one on one attention no matter what your fitness goal is, or how you train. She makes routines that work for YOU and not just some random out of a book good for all type. She is able to work through injuries to where you are comfortable, because the expression "no pain, no gain" isn't always best when you are injured. Don't get me wrong, there will be soreness, but its more of a welcomed "I feel my body getting lean and strong soreness." What you put into it will be what you get out of it. I lost 20 lbs the healthy sustained way and continue to work off that last lil bit, but without a matching healthy diet (meaning my diet of pizza and beer) wont get you there. She is a very educated, driven, approachable trainer who teaches you the correct and sustained way of working out and losing weight. I've seen other trainers treat their clients impersonal and just go through the motions, where as, she actually listens to what it is each person wants to accomplish and motivates you to do so. Her goal is to teach you how to do it by yourself, and not need a trainer forever. Remember its a lifestyle change and not a diet. Results don't happen overnight, because you can say "oh I tried this and that but it failed", that's just it, you tried it and didn't just do it! I cant speak highly enough about her as a trainer. I highly recommend her to anyone serious about getting in shape and losing weight in a clean and fun environment because working out should be fun! read more
