While Laura was instructing, I felt like she was talking about many unnecessary topics like how yoga is not their only profession and how it doesn't really pay well. I don't know how it's relevant to us? She also told a fellow student that I was copying her yoga moves and mentioned "monkey sees, monkey does" something like that. While I wasn't really copying anyone. She also mentioned that I was anxious during the session while I wasn't really anxious. I was just trying to put efforts. I don't understand how can someone "encourage " a student like that during their initial sessions. What's the issue even if someone is looking anxious? Yoga should be a pleasant experience for newcomers and not feel like walking on a tight rope. I thought it was just me but I found other 1 star reviews here concerning her on similar issues. I don't feel comfortable going back even though I paid for an entire month. Sorry but please treat your new students with extra care and encouragement. Good luck!

There are no mirrors on the walls however - I wish they had them because then I can see if my form is correct. There's plenty of parking available, and Tierra Mia is at the end of the shopping center, so you can get yourself a treat after class like I did!

She pushes them appropriately and has them work through the hard stuff. With time, my girls became stronger and more skilled at aerial arts. They have amazing core strength now. Mrs. Auburn hosts recitals in fall, winter, spring, and summer for students to showcase their hard work. Brenda, who is one of the owners and teaches as well is a gem!!! Brenda has taught me so much about my body and just breathing really. She constantly reminds me of my body mechanics, which is so important with Pilates. I have corrected so much of my posture thru out my daily living because of Brenda. I came for the Yelp event but stayed for the knowledge of Chris and Michelle! Not only were they super accommodative they were also very patient with me and explained everything I needed to know before hopping on the machine. Michelle even stayed next to me the whole time switching the speeds and modes of the machine to match my pace! 15 minutes on the simulator is equivalent to a whole day on the slopes and boy can you really feel it in your core and glutes. This simulator is the only commercialized unit on the west coast and it is 1000% worth trying out! The same machine used at the Olympic training center! I may not be an Olympic athlete but with this machine I sure can train like one. Overall: A great experience that I would recommend anyone. I was and still am so surprised that no one knows of this machine. I think it is a great experience for anyone who doesn't have the time to commute to Big Bear every weekend.
