We recently had issues with our boiler…read more Knowing so very little about boilers, we initially had another service provider come out only to find that they specialize in another type of boiler. Ours is a steam boiler. Who knew? Well, probably we should have. But, we didn't. We still had heat and it was during a particularly bitter cold snap when we called. He let us know that since we were dealing with an issue (primarily noise) that wasn't actually causing an inability to use our boiler, he'd like to push out stopping by until the following week. We appreciated his kindness and consideration for those dealing with more dire issues and were perfectly happy to have him out the following week. He came out, promptly at the agreed upon time, and quickly diagnosed the problem and got it fixed in no time for a fair price. We couldn't be more happy with the service we received and will happily call upon Barth Boiler for any and all of our boiler needs in the future. He said he suspected one of the heating elements has failed. Because of schedule issues told him it would be difficult to meet him at the property. He told me not to worry about it and he would take care of it. Mike came out a day or two later first to diagnose the problem. As he suspected, the elements needed to be replaced. By the end of the day the elements were replaced. He contacted me to let me know the status and left the bill on the table. I thought that was it, I was wrong.
