Friends bought 4 tickets to The Devil Wears Prada 2 and offered me and the hubs if we wanted to buy…read moretwo tickets. Heck yes, and the movie was great. The not so great was the lobby concession area was a hot mess. Burnt popcorn being sold-like you not only could smell it, but see it on the kettle corn in the case. The floor was a mess, straw wrappers and popcorn and some guy added to it by dropping his alcohol drink and it spilled all over the floor and splashing up on me as I'm waiting for some pretzels to get made. (A worker wiped it up with his foot and a couple Sham-Wow cloths.) So the kid waiting on me took forever putting on his plastic gloves, shuffled over to make the pretzels, then stops, walks away-had no idea where. I figured I'd grab some water at the drink station. There's usually clear cups for water, but last night no cups. So I thought they either ran out or just use the soda cups. I grabbed a the middle cup. I was thirsty, small wasn't going to cut it. Hubby goes to pay while I go back to wait for the pretzels. Two boxes get put up for a lady, but no, those are chicken wings orders. The kid suddenly remembers the pretzels he took out of the freezer. Seconds later he hands me a box. The box was cold but it didn't register with me because at that moment my hubby says they charged him $7.00 for my cup of water. He said "fountain water is free I thought?" The kid said "yeah, but only in the clear cups, (which there weren't any) so I have to charge you for the cup." We go to our seats, my seat won't recline back. The feet part came out but the back was straight up and down. My hubbies leaned back, my friend to my right's did too. But not mine. I take a deep breath, it's ok. I'll enjoy my pretzels. Open the box, pick one up, it's frozen. Like rock solid frozen. I can't make this stuff up. So I walk back down to the concessions and a nice manager lady noticed me approaching. I said these are frozen. She grabbed the box and picked one up, she was like omg! These weren't even cooked! She went around to the prep area and showed a couple kids-one was the one that messed up the order. He didn't say a word to her. He just stood there. The other girl jumped into action with her manager because they were behind on pretzel orders. I got my pretzels fast. Rushed back to my non reclining seat and enjoyed them. But this is why I go to Kenwood.

I highly recommend you buy your tickets online. It's so much easier & faster checking in at the drive up booth. Plus I will say this, they open at 7:00 pm and movie don't start until 9:00 pm so I recommend you get there early so you can get the spot of your choice and if you want to purchase food too. We got there when the door open and I'm glad we did. It was a long line to get in. You can bring your own food but it's a $10.00 charge. If you want to sit outside, you are able to bring your own chairs. Their menu has a variety to choose from. Popcorn, soft drinks, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, chicken tenders, nachos and appetizers. Very reasonable in pricing. If you are watching inside your car, the station is 90.7. The speakers outside is pretty loud. The sound quality and screen is prestine. I love the nostalgic feel and being outside to watch a movie, it's really amazing. I love this place, it's super clean and open. They do have bathrooms but not huge. I can't wait to come back. I'm glad there's a drive in in our area. Everyone needs to experience this.

I'm 45 now and I was looking forward to a dose of nostalgia with a good sequel movie in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Both my lady and I were definitely glad we went to because we really enjoyed the whole experience. We went on a Saturday and expected it to be pretty busy. It certainly was but the theater was pretty well organized in getting everyone in. We pulled in to a spot up front and saw a number of people with chairs and blankets sitting outside of their cars to watch the movie. They have large speakers under the movie screen or you can tune to 90.7 to listen to the movie in your car. Their concession stand has a pretty big menu featuring burgers, pizza, hot dogs, popcorn, chicken tenders, fried pickles, and lots more. My lady and I decided to get some popcorn, a cheese pizza, and a chili cheese dog. There was a bit of a wait, but understandable with how busy they were, so I okay with that. I still had our food well before the movie started. All the employees were super friendly too. As for the movie experience, the sound quality was really, and the screen was easy to see even up front. I can absolutely see is going back here again for a movie. This is as close to the feeling of going to a drive-in theater as a kid that I'll ever get around here. Now to find a good movie to see here on our next visit. Maybe a good horror movie!

It was so beautifully built and so meticulously cared for and restored. I love that they carried the deco details throughout the entire space, including the restaurant areas. When you enter, there is a large ticketing area. They can help you with access to the main museums and for tickets to the movie theater. The staff is extremely helpful in guiding you to the right person and the individuals behind the counter are very helpful as well. I was using a reciprocal membership and once they verified Pittsburgh was far enough away (it very much is as Cincinnati is almost five hours from Pittsburgh) it was easy for them to issue us the tickets. We came specifically for the Auschwitz exhibit which was located on a lower floor. Signage was clear and there were ample staff to help guide to the appropriate location. In addition to the four museums covered by the one museum fee, this building also houses a gift shop, cafe area and the Holocaust Center (whose entrance is at the back of the space and a different ticketing system). There is a LARGE parking area in the front of the complex. It is an uncovered surface lot and on a busy day could be quite a walk to the entrance. You can, however, pull up right in front if someone from your party needs to be dropped off. I really enjoyed my time here, and will definitely be back to spend additional time in the various museums (as we were rushed because we spent so much time in the Auschwitz exhibit). If you are in the Cincinnati area, definitely make sure you visit.

The museum as a hole is very well maintained and clean. The prices are a tad expensive however compared to other museums I have been to in touristy cities. The childrens museum is the star of the show - it is so interactive and if I had kiddos I would take them here often for a day of play - even as an adult passing by I wanted to jump in the ball pit I saw.

The only reason I gave 4 stars was two things: women's bathroom was COMPLETELY out of hand soap at about 7 o'clock in the evening. I understand these places may be understaffed, the good thing was as soon as I said something it seems like they went in and remedied the situation. BUT, and when I say but, it's a BIG BUT, once the lobby started to fill with people, IT GOT HOT. SO, SO HOT. Everybody was sweating and complaining. I heard one woman say she wasn't sure how much more she could take. It was bad, really really bad. Other than that, I'd definitely be willing to come back for a show at this theater! ....especially in the winter.

We attended a concert of several bluegrass bands headlined by Rumpke Mountain Boys on New Year's Eve 2019. On this particular night, the crowd was the perfect size. Great vibe down on the floor in front of the stage, but enough room to move around on the second tier for those that prefer a little more elbow room. The bar service was prompt, prices seem fair and the variety of beer selections is decent for a venue that isn't open every night (though no beers on tap, which is understandable for an event venue I suppose). The building is in pretty good shape, and really shows off the classic architecture well. It seemed to me like the stage area has been enhanced recently, though I couldn't be sure. This is a great neighborhood venue for live music and events. Check it out!
