I have switched to Niguel Pool Supply as my pool servicer at the beginning of this year. They do an excellent job maintaining my older pool. This is the third pool service company I have used and by far the best. I have had minimal greening in my pool this summer, which is a first, and they are quick to identify problems and provide reasonable solutions without trying to replace the entire system. The filter got plugged and needed to backwashed but I couldn't get the valve to budge. I "annoyed " several times the same day but he was great. He walked me through several scenarios to get it apart. It worked and I was able to open the filter. (Complete mess btw). I can't say enough about Nick and Jason. Cheapest and best place to get your HASA's of bleach. It's about the only thing I get from them as I have, however, had problems receiving half empty gallons of muriatic acid and water testing results that are wildly different to my own followed by the suggestion of chemicals. Being a distruster and a thorough researcher I now only buy plain bleach for chlorine, muriatic acid to lower PH, occasionally trichlor tabs to raise CYA and sometime baking soda to raise TA. I test my own water (http://tftestkits.net/) daily and in detail weekly. I avoid unnecessary chemicals as they often have other side effects and a sanitized pool shouldn't have any problems. I brush my pool at least twice a week. Its good exercise. read more

We have been a customer of Niguel Pool Supply pool cleaning service for over 10 years. Through the years there have been some issues but we stuck with them because the owner Bob resolved them. Bob has a new pool cleaner who has been nothing less than unreliable. The cleaner failed to show two weeks in a row even though Bob was called after the cleaner missed the first of the two weeks. He did not know why the cleaner did not show up and offered no solution. When the cleaner missed another week and the pool was starting to turn, we called Bob again and said we could not use his services anymore and all he had to say to a ten year customer was "Okay" and he hung up on us. read more

I have lived in Laguna Niguel for 20 years and have been going to Bob and his staff at Niguel Pool Supply for all of that time. This is THE BEST neighborhood pool supply store I have ever visited. THese people are HONEST, straightforward and helpful. Their chemicals are far better than you will find at Leslie's or the large chain stores. When a friend gave me some of the water clarifier he bought at Leslie's, it caused my pool water to bubble. That has never happened with the chemicals from Niguel Pool Supply. These folks have worked out problems for me by phone several times...they are always helpful and just plain honest folks. I love this place! read more
