I purchased a spa from this business years ago. I stopped by store to ask about issue with spa. Was told motor failed. Technician was sent to my residence without a confirmation request by myself. Charged for visit. Repeat no confirmation was requested or if date was acceptable. Buyer beware with these types of business practices. read more

OC Hot Spring Spa was a good experience throughout. After it was delivered we realized that a drink tray, which was featured on the original website offering it, was updated and no longer being part of the package. I called OC Hot Springs the next day expecting to hear the standard "sorry, that is no longer being offered by the manufacturer." Or, something similar. However, before I could finish my request I was told "even though it is no longer part of the package, we want to make you happy with your new spa experience and just ordered one for you." Customer service is atrocious. We have had a broken hot tub for a year. We have been on a waitlist to get it fixed. They keep on moving out the fix date. There is only one service guy. If you are thinking about getting a hot tub, investigate the service options. Steer clear from this place. The service point person talks in circles and makes my head spin. Extremely dishonest These guys have done very well under Covid, so maybe it's making them feel like they can do anything and get away with it. I asked about their so-called "financing" program. They told me I could buy my spa through monthly payments over time. Their program was through Wells Fargo. The paperwork looked normal for this sort of package. It was lengthy, and printed in tiny text, so I didn't study it much. The payment amount and the term were clear. About a month after I got my new spa, I got a warning about a sudden 40-point drop in my credit report. Lo and behold, Wells had reported the "payment program" as a simple credit car that then then maxed out at $11k. So the credit bureaus now think I use credit irresponsibly. I asked management to replace the plan with the one they had promised me. They sniped back, "we're not a bank". They then said that I "should have read the agreement". (Unfortunately, I didn't have an attorney with me at the time!) They impishly suggested that I call Wells Fargo and make my own arrangements. There's actually no way to do that once the spa has been delivered, which the folks at OC Spas know very well. This is both unprofessional and dishonest. I cannot recommend that you do business with these individuals. read more

He finally took me to OC Hotsprings where I met Greg. Greg was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns. From that visit my husband convince me it's time to get one. Would highly recommend! They were referred to us when we started having issues with the heater in the jacuzzi. Original call was pleasant, onsite service call was professional and they didnt try to upsell me on stuff that wasnt necessary. They fixed the issue with no additional cost other that the service call. One follow up call was required 2 weeks later and again very professional, knew exactly how to solve the problem and even suggested i pick up the repair part from a local hardware store rather than having me drive all the way down to their location in SJ. After researching shops and prices locally in San Diego, my uncle recommended I check out OC Hot Springs Spas. Night and day difference in experience. Here in San Diego it was the hard sell, deposit 50% today, NON-Refundable, to get the best deal, only for today. Compared to OC Hot Springs, similar price, only required $500 refundable deposit. I also appreciated working with Scott(owner), who has been the biz years, started off working in the shop before purchasing it years back. They made purchase and installation easy. They researched cranes services here in San Diego. Professional installation by Rocky, who's been working for Scott for years. The salesperson Vicki was super great to work with, and Greg, the owner was friendly and happy to share his 20+ years of Spa knowledge. We looked around at other places, but came back to OC Hot Spring as they were very knowledgeable and straight forward. We didn't realize how smart that was until we got to the install process. We hired an electrician who we got from ANOTHER hot tub dealer. When the electrician came out, and we told him we bought from OC Hot Springs instead, we were concerned it might be a problem. His response was an ecstatic, "no way, in fact my quote will be cheaper because I know how to leave things so they can do the final hook-up and I won't have to come back". The delivery day went shockingly fast even with the crane (which was way cheaper and easier than I thought it would be). Everyone involved knew their tasks, and we had the tub filled and were just waiting for it to warm up in about 2 hours. we've had our tub about a week now, and used it every night. read more

Terrific Spa and Company! I've been buying my spa chemicals for years from OC Hot Springs and always found their customer service superior. When it came time to replace our old, worn out spa, it was also time to see what Hot Springs offered. Greg, Scott and Dan all were terrific in explaining the systems and features of the different lines they offer. Next step was the wet test. Yes, you can get a free soak! The whole family came and tried different spas and their jet settings. In the end, Envoy was best for us. The sales process was as friendly as one could hope. Their pricing is competitive, plus they included some nice extras. We also went with the Fresh Salt System. The water is nicer on the skin, and more importantly maintenance is even easier. We selected the shell and outside colors and placed our order, the electrician and a crane were scheduled for an install 2 weeks out. The install crew, lead by Rocky was great. In less than an hour our spa was full of salt water and heating up. The spa has been getting great use and all agree that Hot Springs is superior to the other brand we had. read more

Excellent service! We went down to the store a couple of weeks ago to pick out a new spa after having an informative phone conversation with Dan. We picked out the model we liked and were on our way. We just had our new spa delivered and it was a painless experience! We had an old spa, which was too big to get out of our gate. We cut it apart and the guys from OC Hot Springs Spas took it away and even swept up the mess that was left under the pile of rubble. My family and I bought our Hot Spring Springs Spa in August of 2003. Prior to the purchase, we visited Hot Spring Spas of OC about 6 times. We told brothers Scott and Greg that we were researching various spa companies to make sure we were getting the right one for us. Every time we came in, we were greeted warmly by them and there staff. The one thing that we always commented on when we left was how comfortable we felt by the staff. We never felt like they were pressuring us. (Not something we could say about other spa companies we visited.) When we finally went in to purchase our "Grande" model, Greg even made it a point to tell us that since we were only a family of 3, we might want to consider a smaller model and save some money. WOW! I felt like they were really watching out for our best interest. No hard sell at all! We told them that the bigger model was what we wanted so our daughter could invite many friends over to enjoy. Rocky and his crew installed our spa without a hitch. He gave us maintenance instructions in an easy to follow manner. For the last 11 years we've had countless hours of fun and relaxation in our spa. It was such a great investment and I am truly happy that I bought our spa from them. We shopped three vendors for our new hot tub. We have had three before, two in ground (at different homes) and one above ground. But we needed to be educated and Greg at Hot Spring Spas was patient and did a good job asking the right questions. We settled on the Vanguard which seats six adults. The crew that installed it was very professional and efficient. Rocky was early, guided things along with the crane operator and Nate was very patient in explaining the chemicals, the controls and answering all of our questions. I'm not sure if I necessarily negotiated the best achievable price, but I think the price was fair, the quality of the spa is very high and we have already started to enjoy it. The only person pushing to buy one, was myself, never the owner, my husband wasn't sure but we pick our colors and bought a great hot tub. OC Hot spring spa's is a one of a kind operation. I was referred by a friend for repairs on my spa. From the first phone call to the repair work done, this is one first class HONEST business. I've used other repair services for my Hot Springs spa before, and this experience was the best ever. Scott was very helpful and offered me great pricing on the repairs (could have been over $1500) as well as Rocky the repair specialist. Rocky is awesome! He was in constant contact with me and fixed the problem and I am a happy camper! My spa is 15 years old and the pump had failed.
