My child complained of discomfort shortly after the cleaning began, and the hygienist even admitted that the equipment being used was not designed for kids--the cables were short and awkwardly elevated. I immediately asked to stop the exam. Dr. Paul Yew offered to do the cleaning himself, but I declined since the equipment itself did not seem suitable for children. Before leaving the clinic, I was given a written statement showing a $0 balance (see attached photos). However, several weeks later, I received a bill for $78. When I went back to the office to question the discrepancy, the staff said the charge was for X-rays. I explained that this was unfair because I was explicitly told there were no charges at the time of the visit. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, Dr. Paul Yew threatened to call the police on me if I did not leave the property immediately.
