If you want to be racially judged and discriminated then this store is for you. Saw and experience numerous employees looking down and talking down to minorities. If you're not an obvious foreigner or tourist then forget about getting the proper help and let alone respect you would come to expect from a merchant of this caliber. Store is a complete mess as well. Not for lack of employees because they have way too many just standing around and flirting with each other. But that comes from management. Tried to get help from JT the manager after waiting over 20 minutes to get help from other staff to just realize that he's the reason they're all like that. He did the exact same thing. JT asked to give him 5 minutes to help us so we did. Those minutes came and went so we starting walking toward the escalators to exit the store and he walked right behind us not saying a word and walked us directly out of the store. Cashiers are fast, cash & credit cards usually segregated. The only thing you have to bear is the lack of air conditions plus packed full of people equals suffocation. This store has some good deals, especially with the black friday sale they were running. The line outside always looks long but moves pretty quickly, usually less than twenty minutes. I got a couple of pairs of Air Pegasus on sale plus 30% off, $115 with tax for both which I was very happy with. Note that the checkout line is very poorly managed. There's a break in the queue right where the escalator drops you, so people try to cut in, unintentionally sometimes, intentionally other times. We had someone cut in front of a long line, and the employee directing people just pretended like he was supposed to be there, said he was with the party that was already there. Dude who cut never said a word or even made eye contact with the party in front of him the entire time he was in line, so clearly the employee just didn't want to say anything. Let me caveat that this negative experience is not tied around the store itself, it's products, or any of the store team members but that this negative experience is solely in complaint of THE STORE MANAGER, TRISH DIAZ. Some background - I'm a frequent Nike shopper, I go to Nike stores and shop online 2-3 times a month if not every week and one thing I love about Nike is (generally) its great customer service and the convenience it provides its customers. Due to Nike's great policies, I often buy online, and if something doesn't work out, I take it in store to return or exchange. I've done this multiple times and have never had a problem at any Niketown, Nike Factory Store, or Nike Clearance Store. However, when I drove ~20 miles to the nearest Nike store (citadel), to return a couple of shoes, I was informed that there was a store policy that outlet stores do not accept returns over $200 dollars. In my 10+ years as a Nike customer, I had never heard of this rule. So I ask to speak with a manager about this and along comes Trish Diaz. One thing I noticed immediately about this store manager was that she did not have the friendly, customer first attitude that I generally see in Nike employees. She gave me short and snappy answers without a smile while repeatedly saying "that is a new store policy." After a couple of questions, she turned around and walked away while I was mid sentence. I thank the initial store associate I spoke with and step away to look on nike.com for their terms and conditions. And not only does the website clearly state I can return any items bought on nike.com at any nike retail store but it doesn't say anything about not being able to return over $200 at a factory store. I ask the store associate if I can speak with Trish again and she returns with a stink face basically telling me to drive 40 miles to the nearest Niketown to return the shoes and is unwaivering in making any kind of exception for a loyal Nike customer. I can see that this conversation is going nowhere and just decide to give up. This review has nothing against the store or its employees EXCEPT ONE STORE MANAGER , TRISH DIAZ. I'm not quite she how she got a job as a store manager with the inability to interact with customers and provide good customer service. Nike prides itself in it's customer experience and that is why its policies are so flexible with returns etc. However, Trish does not seem to understand this and feels it is necessary to fabricate store policies that don't seem to exist online. read more

Although this Nike outlet is not as big as others, like Camarillo or Ontario, I'm still grateful to have one close to me. This store is clean and organized, and of all the outlets, looks most like an actual Nike store. Yes, the employees aren't dying to help you, but they're not working off commission, so just ask them for help if they don't approach you. Best deals you're going to get are on black friday weekend and during Xmas time, but the selection isn't the best. It's an outlet store, so it's all of the left over stuff from the previous season. Don't walk in with high expectations. Don't be upset if they don't have your size. Everythings pretty much discontinued and you're getting it at a discounted price. WHO EVER SAID THAT SIZE DOESN'T MATTER??? Well, they were a damn lie, it matters. This Nike outlet is very small compared to the Nike outlet at Cabazon premium outlets. They had some selections, but not half as much as the larger outlet. This one was two stories, Upstairs for ladies and downstairs for men. I ended up getting a few graphic Tee's and a Nike fleece. I had plans for a few pair of Nike Free Runs(my fav) but it didn't work out for me. The sale sign said 30% off of the fleece, however, when I got to the register, the sales person said it wasn't on sale. Just before I was about to get unladylike, he went ahead and gave me the 30% off. The store was neatly organized, just small, very small. read more

I usually buy my shoes on "Zappos", but the thread on my last pair of sneakers were bare. Time to buy a new pair and needed instant gratification, so I headed to the Citadel Outlets to check out the Nike Store. I do not buy (waste) $100+ on athletic shoes anymore, that is so late 80's-90's. My price point is $50 or less. I found a nice pair of running / training for $45.00 :) This Nike has two floors. Men shoes/clothing are upstairs. Women shoes/clothing are downstairs. Not sure what people expect from the sales people. I go shopping knowing what to buy. I do not need a salesperson to hand hold me or give me advice. If they can direct you to the right aisle and find your size, they have done their job. If I like it, I buy it. The only expectation I have when shopping anywhere is that they have 3-4 cashiers, when the line is long, so the line will move and the wait is short. Good job Nike. Overall, I will come here again to buy my next pair of athletic shoes. The Citadel Outlets does get very busy on weekends and is tourist destination for foreigners on weekdays. read more

Injured in a car accident I was facing two months of physical therapy. Could barely walk at first but with help made my way to the Nike store for some athletic shoes I could wear during the therapy. I found a nice looking pair and grabbed them up. After two weeks there was a slight tear in the material but wasn't big enough for me to think about returning them. Two more weeks passed and the shoes stayed ripping in another spot and the previous rip was getting bigger. The store says of course I can return them. As I have a foot injury from serving in the military I had special inserts in the shoes and they told me I couldn't return them without the flimsy inserts it came with. Expecting shoes I bought for very basic movements wouldn't fall apart I tossed them for my inserts. Some Nike stores are very professional and helpful but when your shoes burst and there is very little wear on them you should take more responsibility. Especially when they are supposed to have a two year warranty(either from the date of purchase or the date on the inside of the shoe, not sure). Either way I'll stick to stores with better quality nikes for sure. read more

This is by far the best Nike outlet store I have ever visited. I searched far and wide for a quality Nike store, and this was by FAR the best. Not only did they have multiple styles of shoes with my size, (13; which is very difficult to find outside of the internet) but they had many clothing products on sale! I couldn't believe how many sales they had going on when I stopped by. I ended up walking out with 2 pairs of shoes, and 3 pairs of Nike basketball shorts. On top of it all, the employees were very helpful, but not too overbearing. I had multiple employees check on me during my visit, even though the store was packed! One employee in particular stood out to me, I believe his name is Nick! Awesome customer service! I was greeted me with a smile, and he was extremely friendly. Great visit, great service, and great products! While I have Nike The Grove and Nike Santa Monica closer to me, The customer service he provided has made me a return customer. read more

I happened to be in the neighborhood, and thought I'd stop by to see what kind of offerings this store has. Well, it turns out - not much for me. I tried on a pair of Vomero 5's and absolutely LOVED them. However, the price didn't make them very favorable right now. This outlet store is great for general items, but I guess for the latest shoe - it sorely lacks. I would have taken Vomero 4's if they were in stock, but none such luck. I know that this is an outlet store - but I know that out in Camarillo, they have vomero 5's for men - but crap footwear for women. read more

On 1/3/16 we walked in to the location to see it was pretty packed & just so I did not waste anytime, I decided to simply ask the 1st employee I saw to ask what the procedure I should be following to get the situation taken care of. If you ever do buy a pair of sneakers from Nike outlet here make sure you known that you risk fungus or athletes foot. At least clean or bleach the inside the shoe because you're risking getting a fungal infection by wearing shoes of other people have worn. Haven't had a WORSE experience at any other Nike Store. I honestly only buy Nike's and won't wear any other shoe brand and after this customer service i'm reconsidering!!! Traveled from Vegas to be apart in the audience on The Voice and decided to stop here before to grab some new shoes. Found 2 pairs I liked and grabbed them off the walls. Both had sale stickers on them and so I was super happy!! I go to the counter to checkout and Maggie rung me up and I realized the sale price wasn't showing so I grabbed the pair I found in which why I thought they were on sale. She gave me the worst attitude and blamed me for putting the shoes in the wrong box. I told her I understood maybe a customer or associate did it but asked to honor the price and she said no. I asked where the box was for the shoe I needed and she had no clue. Doesn't make sense either that when I left the shoes upstairs on a bench an associate put them back in the same box and didn't correct this mistake. Could have gotten a manager too but she didn't. I have worked in customer service since I was 15 you do right by the customer not right by yourself Maggie. 1. We should be able to trust associates to put the shoes in the correct box. Who goes to Nike and makes sure the inside number matches the outside box? 2. Associates shouldn't be rude to their customers especially those who shop with their products often. read more
