Just ate at Niki's and our family had a great meal. Had a 3 item family size pizza and a calzone. Both were very well liked by our whole family and we will return. Gave 4 stars because the atmosphere could have been better, plus they have pineapple as a specially topping and have to pay more. Our family loves Niki's pizza! We go there most Friday nights and the pizza is always delicious. The thick Sicilian is delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and true Italians. The cheese cake is some of the best I've had. Niki's is my family's favorite pizza joint. read more

Horrible food, it's greasy lacks flavor and so stingy on sauce you have to choke it down with more soda.

I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was so delicious. The chicken was perfect and the spaghetti and sauce was better than I've ever tasted. You can tell it is authentic food and great service, fast and friendly. They have awesome prices, especially for dinner. We ordered chicken parmigiana, chicken Alfredo and cheesy bread and it was all for $25.00. Very pleased with our visit! read more

Let's start with the (single) positive - the restaurant appears to be very clean. Other than that - save your money! SO disappointing! The Chicken Parmesan was a frozen, breaded cutlet - think school cafeteria, and I would liken the pizza to Totino's, but that would be doing a disservice to them - Totino's, that is. My son and I tried Niki's this week. I was a little apprehensive about it because the strip mall it is in seems a little rundown. Walking in, the restaurant appeared very clean. You choose your slices and order at the counter. They bring it out to you once ready. You can't beat the price or quality. My son claims it is the best pizza he has ever eaten and I was impressed too. I really want to go back and try the pasta and cannoli. You can tell it is family owned and operated which is normally a plus to me, but I did reluctantly deduct one star for the couple's barefoot toddler running loose in the dining room. I realize it has to be hard running a business and raising a family, but until they are old enough to work, the little ones need to stay safely at home. read more

The food is delicious. There are so many tasty items on the menu. The calzones, The pizzas. The manicotti - heavenly. And they have tiramisu! It's a fun, casual environment for family dining. There's plenty of seating, even a big table for a large group after a game. The staff is polite, and the dining room is looking much better since they made some minor upgrades. We get take-out regularly, too, and it's just as delicious as eating at the restaurant. My only objections: sometimes it's a bit of a high school hangout, and the kids can be noisy and underfoot. And all too often, they have Fox News playing on the TV. News wouldn't be my first choice for a family-friendly dining establishment, and, well, Fox. 'Nuff said. read more

This is our favorite place to celebrate birthdays and father's day, etc. My Italian parents love it and so does everyone else. By far the most authentic, NY-Style pizza. The kind of pizza that easily folds. Olive oil appears to be used with the cheese or it is just the right kind of cheese - not sure. I just know it is heaven on a pizza pan. I really like their large dining room, there is always plenty of room, even when my team from work heads over for lunch. True authentic Italian American mixed dishes with great people great service low cost. It's not your glamorous Italian house but it is delicious and cheap making it a good Friday night stop. Great friendly employees small town feel inside. read more

I have known Niki since I went to UT in the late 80's / early 90's, and he ran the store in Dobie Mall. He has always been super cool and nice when you come in. His nephew runs the store in Round Rock, but he also greets me every time I go in. The pizza is just the type I like: super thin crust with fresh ingredients. Not sure why there are a few bad reviews here - I guess there are idiots who don't know that New York style pizza is SUPPOSED TO BE THIN CRUST. Fantastic...My wife had the Chicken Parm Sub and I had the Stromboli with several added ingredients...the portions were HUGE for a great price. And the Cannolis don't get me started..could not stop eat until it was gone. Highly recommend. read more

Had a Living Social coupon for Nikki's pizza ... everything was fine and dandy until I produced the coupon and then suddenly the prices went significantly upwards. I was told that these were the rates with coupons. Came home and checked their website for the most expensive rates printed for the dishes I ordered, and found them to be nowhere near what I was charged. A total rip-off ... will never set foot inside this seedy establishment again. read more

Friend in Round Rock recommended due to how close it was to their place, at which I was staying; they'd not had the food though. Went in while passing by one day, to check out menu, I took a paper menu with me, it boasted top ingredients, or great ingredients. I asked about their pastas, how much comes in one serving, he said it is a good size. So I went a day or two later, ordered two pastas to-go, one with garlic and basil and olive oil [the flavor was good, but felt and became stomach ill some hours later]. The second pasta [spaghetti with tomato sauce], which I saved for the next day as was going to be busy and needed something on hand. I ate it cold and the sauce was good, though chintzy.....very chintzy. They give bread square rolls that are garlic bread. I have to watch cholesterol and asked if next time I could ask for some without butter. He said no, they are made with butter, I asked if it was real. It is a large gallonesque liquidy product with soy or soybean oil and is a "butter substitute"----btw, the garlic in the first pasta was minced from a jar, not sure what made me ill, but gather maybe basil or garlic, if old garlic or if basil not washed properly. Though both pastas were what I would deem chintzy, the flavor was great in the basil oil version and pretty good on the tomato sauce version, and I figured I'd give it another shot, because it is closeby, I'm busy, and it seemed decent-plus, flavorwise, especially the second pasta. I did not eat the bread. I ate the first pasta there, and applied the parmesan from a sugarlike dispenser, was different than any I had ever had before, tiny, not flaky or soft, was dust or glasslike. Not much flavor, maybe it was old. As I said, I liked the second pasta enough and was tired tonight, hadn't eaten, they advertise being open till 10, and I called in to order a spaghetti with tomato sauce on way to friend's home. Tonight, the store smelled mildewy to the max, the type of smell an old mop would yield. First and second time I went in, there was a similar smell, but much more faint, I figured it was an old strip mall and maybe musty. But tonight it was overpowering. I arrived there 3-4 minutes after having ordered, it was already in the foil container. Came home, as expected because it was ready stat [and last time took 10-15 minutes, was not as hot as last time, but worse, it tasted old, the spaghetti itself, had either a refrigerator taste or maybe took on the smell of the place, but tasted "not" fresh, hardly any sauce at all on it, much more sparse than the last time, and "much more chintzy" in regard to the actual pasta, less than the servings I got the previous time when purchased two. The previous visit I got a piece of chocolate cake that tasted like refrigerator, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I ended up eating and [semi-or-decently] enjoying one of those pastas, and got slightly sick off the other, the cake was okay at best and had refrig flavor, the parmesan seemed almost crystalized and flavorless, I figured the bad something in the basil pasta might have been a fluke and wanted to give them a second shot since it is owned by Italians from Italy and I assumed would/should be good.......but tonight was a big dud. I did not eat it, felt like calling in to just get money back or two desserts to give to niece and nephew, called before closing but they didn't pick up. I would have kept going there once/twice a week just for the simple pasta, but as I said, chintzier than last time, both the pasta and the sauce. Back to the ingredients, they don't make their desserts, use a butter substitute and garlic from a jar. And what's the odor? And the old taste in tonight's pasta? What a waste of 7.50, not a fortune, of course, but may have just as well thrown that money out the window; would have been nice if it tasted fresh and hot and flavorful instead of stale; at least I'd have had dinner. I had two bites and did not desire to eat the rest for the old flavor of the pasta, felt it was questionable, didn't trust it. As a positive, the older brother answered questions politely the first time I went to go give it a look. read more

I've been driving by Niki's for quite some time now and been wanting to try it out. Tonight I finally did! Although the pizza was good (my husband ordered) the chicken Marsala dish I ordered was not remotely like others I have seen and tried. When I asked to return and get another dish they said they would have to charge me! I had taken one bite of my dish and new right away it was not good, at all. I explained when a customer is unhappy (And trust me I rarely am), it is customary to exchange the dish at no extra charge. Mike, the manager, said he's never heard of such a thing. Finally, he offered to make me a side spaghetti dish and "that was it". I waited another 20 mins and no pasta dish ever came. I finally got up to ask about it and the lady at the cash registered gave me my $10 back. I asked where my pasta was and she said he's not going to make it! WHAT?? Poor, poor customer service! I was very disappointed. Oh, and to top it off he took my original dish back (which is to be expected) but then threw it in the trash!!! I would have at least given it to a homeless person in need!!! read more
