I was able to quickly set up an appointment with Marshall and added a bathroom tile refresh to the job since he would be here. He came as scheduled and walked through the jobs with me before starting. I asked him last minute if he could also do our area rug while he was here and he was able to accommodate that too, which I appreciated (I would have also been TOTALLY fine with him not being able to get to it since it wasn't initially part of the discussion but I'm grateful he was able to make it happen!). And he was FAST! When I saw him gathering up his hosing and everything I assumed he was switching gear but nope--he was done! I was impressed. And the price was very reasonable given the fact he did three seperate jobs for us. In the end everything turned out great! The couch smells so clean and fresh and the area rug's colors are bright and vivid again! I sent my mom a picture of the newly cleaned and sealed bathroom floor and she said "Look at that sparkle!" And it's true! Friends, a clean couch is such a present to yourself. Do yourself a favor and give your room a refresh and give Healthy Carpets a call. He told us he was new and while we understand that we feel that this company should've had someone come to work with him A. so that he didn't have to tackle everything in our house alone and B. so they could kinda "show him the ropes" and he could see how to clean thoroughly but efficiently. I would like to state that I made them aware of what my expectations were in the beginning for each property. Called and was told that I can bring the rugs to the store in Oak Park or the truck will come to my home and pick them up. I opted for the truck coming to my house to get them all. If you drop them off at the store they gave a discount. Be prepared to wait though! Lots of waiting for a phone call for them to update you on the progress of your rugs. I think overall from my first phone call to the rugs being re-delivered took over a month. Their communication was pretty good - they called to let know the status of my rugs and if I wanted certain extras like a stain resistant coat. The guys who came to get our rugs were professional and quick. They took 4 big area rugs and a hall runner. They never told you a price until the guys put all of your rugs back where they go in your home. So I wish they were more upfront about the price. The price was worth it based on how clean my rugs looked - they all looked new. All the stains and marks were gone! The guys who came to put the rugs back were patient with me trying to remember how the rugs were laid. Pro tip to take pictures of how your rugs were laid before they take them. They also would move my furniture so my husband and I could shuffle the rugs back in place.
