I've been going to Nikki's for the past year or so and I absolutely love it here; only place I will go to get my eyebrows done in all of Chicago (even if it's a 1.5 hour commute to get here). I usually have Nikki do my eyebrows, but everyone there does clean, meticulous work. The prices are extremely reasonable, the wait time is usually very short (the busiest times I've found to be are weekends), and the salon has a peaceful atmosphere and is well kept. Stopped by yesterday evening and let me tell you it was a first for everything LOL I emailed Nikki through Yelp like two hours before the salon even opened and she responded within a minute. Later on during my Brazilian session she told me she was still at home when she received my message. Not only did she not have to reply since she was not on duty but she was the sweetest woman ever! The customer service is excellent! I had a Brazilian(Nikki) and full leg wax(Meghavi) scheduled for that same evening after work. It was my first time at the salon ( which is literally two streets down from me), and my first time getting a wax. I will not lie, i was extremely nervous but Nikki did nothing but make me feel safe, relaxed and comfortable. She is a very social person which helps through the process of getting waxed. After my previous threading/waxing lady and her husband rudely disrespected me, I finally decided to give Nikki a tried, and OMG one of the best decisions I made. I messaged Nikki on yelp, and she responded minutes later. She is super sweet and took me after salon's hours. The salon is super nice, clean, and spacious. Nikki welcomed me with open arms. My Brazilian wax couldn't went better. Totally painless. Nikki was so gentle, and she used a combination of different wax to make the experience even better. Wow! I was so impressed with the level of service at this place. Their Yelp response rate is awesome! When I got there I was immediately greeted by two very kind ladies, Nikki and her staff (who's name I cannot remember). I waited less than 3 minutes to get seated. I always wax my upper lip/chin, but for my eyebrows it varies. They recommended threading, and I agreed. I have never had such a relaxing threading experience, I almost couldn't feel the thread! After waxing, they went over the area with thread to make sure there were no stray hairs. I paid $22 for all three services. I've been going to Nikki for over seven years due to a referral from a co-worker and friend. The best part is that her work remains the same. My services include brow tinting, threading, and waxing although she offers facials, henna, and other services. My waxing process includes just about everything with the exception of my arms and back which leaves me feeling refined. In addition to the waxing services, I continue to receive stellar services for threading of my brows, lip, chin, etc. The prices are reasonable and comparable to the services received. The salon is clean and her staff is very nice.
