I used to go to a threading salon in the South Loop, but they seemed to decline in service. So, I started looking for other places. I have thin short eyebrows and everywhere I went they would just come out so uneven. I eventually preferred to do them myself at home. Yesterday my sister and I decided to check Nikki's out (I googled salons near my job and Nikki's had the best reviews). It was clean and serene. They greeted us so warmly and started a conversation with us both. This place is awesome!!! I reached out to Nikki via Yelp, she got back to me in minutes. I came in the next day to get an eyebrow thread and lip wax. I went to this place for my first time today and I'm so happy I found it. It clearly has incredible Yelp reviews for a reason. They were so friendly and the store looks so cute and clean. I didn't have to wait at all and had no appointment. I payed $8 for my brows before and always had to go home and pluck some hairs they missed. This is the first time I didn't have to do this! Stopped in here while visiting the city, with shabby brows......Walked in and was immediately seen by the tech in the middle chair. She listened to what I wanted, understood me and I left with brows that were probably the best that I've had in a while. They weren't perfect, but she did a pretty good job at trying to make my brows look more similar, since a brow artist a few months ago jacked them up. They were clean and it was pretty painless. Meghavi may absolutely be the best threading person I have used in my 34 years! I moved to Chicago about 4 years ago and have been searching for a new go-to threading place. After several places, I ended up sticking with a lady at Devon. Unfortunately, Devon is a half hour drive and was not convenient.
