A local bubble tea shop that used to be owned by a national corporation, but decided to strike out on their own and rename themselves Niko Niko!

Don't forget to ask for boba if you want it! I made that mistake but the staff was nice enough to add it in and charge the boba separately. Got the Tiger something or other with boba - very delicious! Cute little tables and seated area.

Vietnamese Coffee with Creme Brûlée topping (yummy)
    Aong V.

The Vietnamese Coffee w Creme Brûlée topping plus boba was delicious! It's pretty sweet, so I'd probably get it a little less sweet next time. But everything tasted great. I wish I ordered a large. The boba texture was nice and chewy. Their straws are cute too. Love the light pink. Service - our drinks came out quick.

Yes! Delicious Vietnamese Coffee drink and Thai Tea with boba! Customer service was kind and helpful. Adds to the overall vibe of the food hall!! Definitely recommend.

A few locations scattered around MOA I enjoyed my boba drink the mango dream sweet cream Maybe a little too sweet and pricey for the size though The store in L3 MOA has a small counter that you order from, but fast and efficient service

The location in Mall of America is very small. Mostly just the ordering counter with a small standing table along the wall if you want to stand and chat. But they right off the food court so there is plenty of seating just outside. Tons of flavor and customization options for you Boba allow you to create your perfect drink.

Oolong MT, 50% sweet, brown sugar boba

Level 1 of MoA. I ordered Oolong MT w/brown sugar boba, 50% sweet. I did not see an option for less ice. The drink and boba were good, but I could not taste the tea. The non-dairy creamer taste was too strong.

Niko Niko has 3 locations in the Mall of America. This review is for the one located on the first floor. I feel like during prime times they are all equally busy (weekends). They have kiosks you can use to order as well as one cashier. The drinks come out pretty fast. I only wish they would speak a bit louder when calling out names to avoid people walking us touching all over the cups to see the names. I like the Tiger Sugar Creme Brulee specialty drink here. I like that the drinks are overly sweet (although for many drinks you can adjust the sweetness/sugar levels). The prices are very fair for the quality and amount of drink you get. Love that the drinks aren't over filled with ice. This is for sure my go to boba place whenever I'm at MOA.

Niko Niko? More like nono nono. Walking the Mall of America is a daunting and thirsty task. After a certain point, I wasn't hungry but definitely needed something to drink and I really wanted boba at some point on my vacation. We kept passing Niko Niko and I figured if there was ever a sign, this is it. I believe we stopped at the one on the second floor by the food courts. It was fairly busy so Tim and I got in line to order on a self-help kiosk. Matt wasn't wanting boba so he patiently stood by while we ordered. I don't remember what Tim got but it came in a very sturdy plastic cup that he plans to keep and use at home. I discussed with Tim about their options since he's a lot more familiar with these kinds of menu and he said the Tiger Latte is always a solid choice. That's what I got and despite how busy it was, the workers were quick on getting the boba out. We took our drinks and headed out since the place didn't seem like it was going to stop being busy. My first few sips were all the brown sugar drizzle at first and wasn't all that good by itself. I tried using the straw to stir and mix it up but it didn't do all too well. That's when I noticed it didn't have any boba balls in it. Those are half the reason I get boba. They are fun to eat. As I kept trying to mix my drink to something halfway decent, I just ended up resigning to the fact that my drink wasn't anything I cared for at all. I did swap the milk out for oakmilk so maybe that had something to do with it... but being lactose intolerant, I didn't feel like dealing with a stomachache for the rest of the day. Having looked over the menu at a leisurely pace, I do see a few different things that I wouldn't mind trying if I get to go back some day. They have a few locations in Minnesota and Colorado and with how much I've been traveling, I am sure to encounter another one before too long. With that said, I am not assigning a rating to this place until I can try them again and get something that is more in-tune with what I like.

    Oreo milk tea

Great drink option for mall of America. The location I went to is the one located on the north side of the mall on the first floor. Prior ordering, I asked what do they use for the Thai tea and the lady told me that they used the leaf (yayyy it is not powder). There is 2 self-order kiosk on at the front of the store. I ordered: -Thai tea with rainbow jelly: real Thai tea leaf. Tasted amazing and would definitely recommend this one. -Oreo milk tea with brown sugar boba pearl: it tasted good as well. No Oreo chunks in it but crushed Oreo is one of the topping option.

I got the specialty drink I believe it was a cookie crunch of some short. It didn't taste like anything to me. I wouldn't try again. The service was good, had to wait a little bit for my drink. The ambiance is a cute lil spot but in the mall so not much surrounding to look at.

Spritz in Mall of America location
    Jackie C.

My new favorite tea shop! This is the place for you if you like sweet, fun, flavorful and customizable combinations in your drinks! I had the Acai Berry Spritz with jellies because I was in the mood for something refreshing! SO GOOD. Great fruity flavor. They had matcha, smoothies, traditional and fun milk teas, dessert-forward flavors, ETC! The 3rd floor location in the Mall of America was very cute and photo worthy haha. Their drinks are great for walking around with. The staff was friendly and quick. Overall I will be seeking them out when I'm in the mood for a tasty drink :)

    Taro milk tea
    Tim C.

I got a taro milk tea with boba, and I guess for mall food, it's not bad. The taro is definitely made from powder. The boba was cooked well and plentiful, so no complaints there. I got it 25% sweet, which was actually just the right amount for me. It's definitely overpriced, but the service was fast. There isn't much space to sit in the store, but plenty of seating inside the mall.

I used to live in the area and when the small coffee shop opened I was so exited to have that in our community and was happy to support them - even if some coffee beverages were top dollar. I was in the area today, and decided to stop in since I no longer live in the area and wanted to enjoy a good brew. Unfortunately, the experience I had left me leaving with a bitter taste in my mouth - and it wasn't from the coffee. I thought it goes without saying, but when a customer greets you, you should greet them back, not just stare. It would be even better if your staff would greet each customer first - make them feel welcome. Maybe I'm a millennial channeling boomer energy, but for years I'm noticing the customer service disappearing from a lot of businesses. I love that connection, but I'm understanding that some people see only a paycheck and skid by with minimal customer service and that is the new way. I don't plan to visit this establishment again. I wish the barista with star tattoos would have put in enough customer service energy that she did with her impeccable makeup.

First things first--the vibe is chef's kiss if you're into cozy, low-key, intentional spaces. It's quaint without trying too hard, and it doesn't have that loud, chaotic coffee shop energy. I was actually able to focus, which says a lot. Now what really sets this place apart? It's tucked inside Zawadi Center, and that matters. This isn't just a grab-your-drink-and-go type of café. You're surrounded by culture, community, and a space that feels like it means something. Between the event space, the restaurant, and the overall energy, it feels layered... like you accidentally found a hidden gem that locals want to keep to themselves. The refresher? Solid. Did what it needed to do. No complaints there. If I had to give a little Yelp Elite honesty: seating can be a bit limited depending on timing, and if you're someone who needs complete silence, this might not be your spot when it gets busier. It's more "focused but alive" than "library quiet." Overall, this is the kind of place you come to reset, get a little inspired, and maybe romanticize your life for a couple hours. Will I be back? Being at Mall of America, you are never terribly far from a Caribou Coffee. There are six of them. The problem? Trying to figure out which one to check in to on the Yelp app is super confusing. My second check-in attempt was correct. Yay! This cafe is steps away from Radisson Blu Hotel, which is connected to the mall. I would find it both cool and deadly to roll out of bed in the morning and head over to this Caribou Coffee. It's also next to J. Jill, by Nickelodeon Universe. If you spot any one of these three places, you're near this cafe. The downside of this cafe is that it closes at 3 pm on weekdays and 4 pm on weekends. Considering that the stores at this mall tend to stay open between 7 and 9 pm, cutting it short so early is a concern. There was a lineup when I got to this cafe. I stood in line. It did move relatively quickly. I got a friendly woman at the counter. She took down my phone number associated with my perks points. I then ordered a large sparkling peach black tea. I paid with a credit card. I also tipped. Done! As I waited for my drink, I browsed around. I liked the drinkware and mugs at this store. There were plenty of snacks that looked yummy and intriguing. My drink didn't take long to be prepared. I thanked the woman when I got my drink in a Christmas-themed cup and looked for a place to sit. I oddly didn't feel cozy sitting on padded stools without any back support. Instead, there were comfy couch chairs in front of this store, so I sat there and enjoyed my drink. I loved my drink. It was perfect and fizzy. I actually sat in this cozy chair for an hour, casually sipping on my drink and figuring out which stores to shop at next. My experience was positive at this cafe. I'd return whenever I'm on the second floor and in this part of the mall. (469)
