Absolutely one of the best dining experiences- every dish was so flavorful! Speciality drinks too! Appetizers: baked Brie and hummus delicious. Hubby had the steak, I had the salmon - can't go wrong with choices! They have Turkish coffee - tasty! Look forward to making this a part of our regular rotation.

Used to be Pinpoint restaurant. They've done a nice job changing the interior, using lighter colors. Seems to have more seating, particularly for 2 people. Made a reservation online. Everyone was friendly when I arrived with my 2 toddlers and checked on me throughout my lunch meal. I'm glad they gave my kids crayons and a coloring sheet to distract them for a few minutes. They sat me in this nice kind of corner booth seating spot where I had enough room to park my stroller. The booth seat height was a bit taller than usual, but at least it was high enough for my toddler to sit on to reach the table. My other toddler used their high chair. We started off with the mushroom burrata, which was amazing. All of the different flavors from the balsamic reduction, chipotle aioli, olive oil, and truffle burrata perfectly complemented each other. My toddlers enjoyed the matchstick sweet potato fries. For my entree had the kofte platter. It did not impress me as much as the appetizer, but was still tasty. The kofte beef meatballs were the best of the dish. The pickled red cabbage could have been more pickled-softer and with a stronger vinegar taste. Also had the "kids meal" with a choice of protein and either fries or rice. Went with the shoestring fries and gyro (lamb). My toddlers loved the shoestring fries -I liked that they were not very salty. I thought the grilled lamb was good, but sadly, my toddler did not think so. Oh well, more for me! Overall, had a good experience and I would come back again.

Great food, ambiance and service!! Also had really great cocktails! Can't wait to try more of their menu!

The food was amazing. Every dish was filled with such great flavor. The girl octopus. Nil's platter was awesome! The baklava was great. I highly recommend this new restaurant.

    Trio of dips and ceviche

we recently went for tapas, and it was amazing. Highly recommend the trio of dips and the ceviche. The server and bartenders were gracious, even during a busy time. We are returning next week for dinner! The only thing that could make it better would be a gyro on the menu.

Incredible food and service. The whipped feta was amazing. Nil's is exactly what downtown Wilmington was missing.

Food was excellent. Atmosphere is LOUD and ECHOEY. Do not go in a large group. The atmosphere is 3, the food is 5, so my score is 4.

This was our first time here and it didn't disappoint! Word to the wise- be ready to wait 1.5 hours…read morefor a table. We came yesterday and didn't want to wait but then came back today and got our group on the list and waited. Note that the parking close by is expensive and they won't seat you if your whole party isn't there within 5 minutes of texting that your table is ready. So yep- plan to wait and sit around. Inside it's pub style, bar available and good music, but not much seating which explains the wait ;) We ordered the 109 Chestnut Chicken Sandwich, the Hot Roasted Pork Sandwich and the Reuben. Our waitress recommended not getting the onion rings app and to do it as sides to save money, and man, we had SO MANY leftovers. The pork sandwich is super good but so filling. I could only eat half with all the onion rings! The Reuben was absolutely delicious and I would 1000% get that again. The best thing on the menu in our opinion: the Cheese Steak Egg Rolls with chipotle mayo- OMG. We will DREAM about these!!! I haven't seen these talked about much- TRY THEM, they were literally mouth watering and I would have eaten them as an entree and not an app! Overall we would come back again, just be prepared to wait forever for a table and you won't be disappointed!

Cheese Steak Egg Rolls served w/chipotle ranch......Amazing!!!! Best we have ever had. 2. 109 Chestnut Chicken Sandwich had an amazing balance of ingredients that would make your mouth water. Very good and the fries as well. 3. Hot Roasted Pork Sandwich was very bland and had an excessive amount of spinach. Even the Au Jus couldn't rescue this sandwich. 4. The famous onion rings. Well they must of ran out of seasoning because these were more flour than flavor. Very doughy with no spices. Not worth the $9 * The alcohol mix drinks are pretty good. Definitely taste the flavor of each. Will give you a good kick.

They have a variety of seating options, including some group-friend booths. On my last visit, I sat at the bar and ordered a flight of beer. Tony the bartender was very patient with my request for a flight of local beer with no IPAs or hoppy beers. He picked out: 2: Wrightsville Beach Orange Crush, 3. Waterline Kolsh, 4. Teaches Peaches, 1. Watermelon Dragon Fruit Burst. I was familiar with the first three and loved them. I jokingly refer to Wrightsville Beach Orange Crush as creamsicle beer. It isn't too sweet, but the Orange flavor is quite strong. The Waterline Kolsh is light and very easy to drink. The Teaches Peaches is one of my favorites due to its light fruity flavor. The Watermelon Dragon Fruit Burst was a wildcard in Tony's lineup. This sour was a refreshing way to mix up my beer tasting. My friend also got a flight and didn't like one of the beers he chose. Tony swapped it out for a different beer as soon as I told him and the new one was well-received. My favorite part of this visit was that Tony decided to bring me a sample of the 8. Firestone Walker Mind Haze, because it was a non-hoppy IPA and he thought I might like it. It wasn't my fave, but I really appreciated the opportunity to try something new. I snacked on free popcorn all during my visit. The popcorn machine is in the back. Also in the back are single-stall restrooms. Tavern Law has an A+ in my book because they have great local beer on tap and they are gay friendly.
