Staff 10/10. However, the two times I went and the one time my parents went, Niles completely ignored us and focused on what I assume are his friends. It's kinda rude to be completely ignored but whatever. Pizza 2/10. There is never enough sauce, the no substitutions for me a no. It's obviously not family friendly if you can't make subs for a child but whatever. It's small and overpriced. We have had undercooked and overcooked. The drinks are 3/10. They are pricey and there's not enough variety. Plus the food takes so long to get out, they plan on you drinking more. Again, service staff is great. Friendly and attentive. Best pizza I have found in the Pacific Northwest. Tried both the traditional and the Detroit style and it was as close to perfection as I have had since visiting NYC. It was a nice small restaurant that was in high demand (good sign), so there was a bit of a wait, but I would wait double the time for this pizza! I am a pizza snob. In fact, I am an insufferable, annoying, loud pizza snob. As you'd imagine I am incredibly picky about my pizza. When Niles opened this place in the town where I work, I went in skeptical. But omg did I come out a believer. First the service, which is impeccable. Every single member of the staff I've encountered has been welcoming, kind, knowledgeable, funny, and attentive. Niles himself pitches in on busy nights, refilling glasses and chatting with the customers. My husband remarked to Niles that he can never get his pizza crusts as good as his, and hand- to- God Niles pulled out his business card and told him to call him and he'd tell him how to do it. SUCH a good guy. Now the food. The NY-style crust is indescribable. Light, sweet, with just a hint of sourdough. It is hands-down the best crust I have ever put in my face hole, and it's not a fluke--I've been back three times and the crust is consistently absolutely insanely good. The Detroit-style is exactly how I like it: caramelized edges but not burnt and again that impossibly light stricture. The toppings are PHENOMENAL. I had the pesto chicken Detroit-style which was so filling and delicious I could only eat half a slice but hey more for leftovers. I had the plain cheese NY-style which is classic and perfect. But my favorite is the BBQ chicken, which now that I'm writing this is making me too hungry so brb headed down to Niles Peacock. read more

All eclipsed by 125 year old yeast that makes the most amazing pizza dough this side of Naples. That's just the half. The other is the bar. 8 seats. Fills early and empties early. The drinks are also second to none and that's saying something with Daphnes, Kilnero and others vying for the $18 martini. Absolutely worth the trip to Niles Peacock. And yes it is a person. I was browsing IG on Saturday for a new restaurant to try and Niles Peacock showed up on my feed. If you're looking for your next favorite pizza place, this is the spot! We loved the ambiance, the drinks and the pizza was 5 star. We got the BBQ Chicken and The Hotwheel - both were delicious but The Hotwheel was our favorite. Perfect amount of kick and the crust was thin, crispy and fluffy! The cocktails were also super fun - lots of variety and flavor. The Nutty Professor is made with homemade (in house!) peanut butter bourbon and it was tasty. We'll definitely be coming back to Niles Peacock very soon (with friends this time!). read more

Ordered the Italian Job pizza. Although photos in these reviews look as if the pizza crust is thick, it wasn't we prefer thin crust. The pizza was very dry and salty ( understandable on the salty issue, ingredients) Asked for additional olive oil to drizzle. - No substitutions allowed - No sweetener for the iced tea -service so-so, answers to our questions seemed a bit curt. Just go! Tried the award winning my hot date pizza. Possibly the best pizza I've had in my life! My companion said the same. The Caprese salad was nice. We sat outdoors on a lovely warm evening. Our server was stellar and was the queen of calmness although it was obvious they had not quite been able to staff up completely. You would never have known if I hadn't chatted with her on the side... I told her she was doing great and I hope they are able to find more all star staff because I think this place will be packed going forward. read more

We went to Niles Peacock Kitchen and Bar as a party of four, on a whim, on a Friday evening and we had a great time. We ordered two pizzas, the Italian Job (GF) and the 3-Cheese (non-GF), as well as the Caesar salad. In addition to the food we ordered to "mocktails" for the kids, because the bar had really cool 'gastro-pub' drink offerings, which the kids both loved. [I don't remember what they were, because our server made suggestions to us, off-menu, which the kids enjoyed]. The salad was a 'good' Caesar salad. It was your par-for-the-course Caesar, which is good. It's what you'd expect. Not a bad starter. Both of the pizza, GF and non-GF, were really good. There were an abundance of toppics, which were full of flavor. (4/5) 3-Cheese Pizza - It was a good pizza. Full of cheesy-flavor, not too greasy. It was good. (4/5) Italian Job (GF) - I liked the Italian Job, there were a lot of bold flavors, which were competing, which was both good and bad. At times it felt like the bites were working in perfect harmony, but at other times it felt like some of the bold flavors were trumping one another. I thought the crust was very good, however, it was just a touch doughier than I would've liked, but again - nitpicks, I prefer a super-thing, crunchy crust, similar to a Neapolitan crust. Awesome servers, every one of them, so helpful and kind toward families with small children. The pizzas were fantastic! Amazing flavors (I had the one with dates, Gorgonzola and vinegar -- unusual combination, but wow!!! Delish!!!) The pizzas that others in my group had also looked great. Kudos to the kitchen staff! We sat in the outdoor tent area and it was so cozy and pleasant despite rainy/windy weather. All in all a perfect evening, perfect meal. My little granddaughter had a wonderful family birthday party -- thanks to your staff for making it special for her. The one recommendation I would offer is for the restaurant to add several more high chairs; one high chair (really???) for so many families with small kids was not enough. read more

Well, I really wanted to give it 5 stars, but the place just gets in its own way. First let's get to why you want to go here! The cocktails - Niles Peacock is locally famous for his cocktails, and for good reason. Top notch. I had The Martinez - a classic, well prepared. Food options are almost all pizza focused, but fret not, it's fantastic. There is a "Detroit style" option of deep dish, which we opted for, choosing The Garden as the best of the vegetarian options, and it was fantastic. Thick crust with a crisp edge, well balanced and seasoned fillings. But there's room for improvement here, and it will affect your enjoyment of the food and cocktails. On the weekend, they attempt to serve the full inside of the restaurant, bistro seating outside, and a COVID-style tent filled with tables. It overwhelms their small kitchen and single bartender. About 20 minutes to get a cocktail on the weekend when it's packed. In the winter, the tables inside are actually colder than the tables outside, as the staff has to keep opening and closing the door to serve the outside areas, bringing a cold breeze in. So if you go at such time, opt for the tent seating if you can. The inside also has only hard surfaces, no curtains or noise dampening panels, so it gets *VERY* loud in there, to the point we couldn't carry on a conversation without leaning over the table. Again, the tent is a better option. If the staff is reading this - you all were trying so hard, but you simply have too many tables to try to serve properly in this configuration. If you want a lovely evening with casual food and an amazing cocktail, go here! But don't go on the weekend, it'll dampen your... ahem... spirits. read more

Delicious food! Really the only pizza I can eat anymore. The staff is very friendly and efficient.

After much hype and 3 visits I'm here to say that it's...fine. Not nearly as good as the hype would suggest, but nothing offended me. I know locals must get sick of hearing this, but I am from the Northeast, so I know good pizza, and this is...fine. We've tried the Italian Job the Pesto Chicken, and a plain cheese. Pizzas are thin crust, and with a thin layer of cheese, so they rely more on their toppings for overall taste and presentation. This also means that they cool down more quickly and get dried out more quickly than other pizzas, so it would be much better to dine in and have them right out of the oven than to take home. They don't really hold up as well as leftovers either compared to other pizzas, so order only what you can eat at the moment. That said, it's clear that they care about having quality ingredients. Atmosphere is almost like nothing else you will find in Edmonds. This place isn't for the typical dinner at 4:00, in bed by 9:00 Edmonds crowd. It's loud, the wait staff in young and attractive, and the cocktails were flowing. Overall, I'm sticking with Venezia for those weekday pizza cravings, and I do wish that Evivva was still here, but I will probably be back here every now and then, probably when I'm trying to impress my younger Seattle friends. read more

We had our anniversary dinner here. We love coming for the delicious food and superb staff. We were next to this table of four women who from the get-go were complaining despite it being a popular place on a Friday night in Edmonds- it's common sense it's going to be busy and a decent wait for food. They gathered their things to leave and complained to the waitress after she let them know the meatballs offered to them to compensate for the wait time were free to them (which apparently is wrong for her to clarify that they were free). They were upset more items weren't free and asked for a manager. Rudely explained the situation to the manager and then continued to ask for the owner. Nile came out and professionally mediated the conversation despite the women being obnoxiously Karen-esque. The cherry on top was we were betting on what car they were going to get in after griping and sure enough- the Range Rover was revealed as they walked to their car. Overall we can't wait to come back. We love the staff and no matter the obstacles thrown at them they always handle with grace and more patience than I could ever have. Five stars. read more
