You can't rely on NimNim dropping your item back on time. Despite them asking you what day you want the dry cleaning returned, it's consistently delayed. They don't update you on the status of your dry cleaning or apologize for delays either. I'll be returning to using Garment Valet instead - a much more reliable service. read more

NimNim is the best laundry pickup/delivery service! They pick up and drop off in 24 hours- sometimes less depending on what works for your schedule! The team members that I have dealt with are awesome! Nimish, Katherine and Joseph are always super friendly and happy to answer and questions and always have smiles on their faces! They respond almost immediately if you have questions/need to make a change in your order. I've been a customer of NimNim for years despite continued instances of my laundry not being picked up or dropped off in designated window without any communication. I've had to call several times to check on orders and am just told it's not ready despite me choosing a drop off window from the app. I'm leaving for a vacation tomorrow on a 6am flight and was supposed to receive my laundry from NimNim over an hour ago. I've called, emailed and texted all with no response and am now leaving for my trip with hardly anything to pack. I'm beyond frustrated at the lack of professionalism and communication and will never use NimNim again. read more

Holes in sweater, owner called and basically said too bad and tried to make me feel bad that he owns a small business and that I shouldn't complain. Noticed my bills were including a tip I never added. If my bill was $25, it would automatically add a tip for $25. Watch out!! Owner admitted to "forgetting" to clean a few times. read more

I am done with NimNim. At first I loved the convenience they offered, their fast turn-around times, etc. My problems started 2 months ago, when they completely ruined 2 of my shirts. Both shirts came back with several stains on them that were not there before. I contacted customer service first via email - never heard back. Then I called them, and they promised they would fix the stains as soon as possible, but they never ended up even picking up the shirts from the concierge in my building. Finally after I called yet again, they again promised they would fix the shirts, but when I got the shirts back they returned with all the stains still on them. I've just received a new batch of shirts, and a third shirt has been ruined with similar stains. I'll never use them again. read more

I discovered NimNim a few years ago when I was about to have surgery and had to figure out how to do laundry while I was recovering. I liked their service so much, I've continued using them. The app is easy to use and they can pick up as soon as an hour after you schedule an order. The turnaround is 24 hours which is way more convenient than the other services that take 3-4 days. I've even used the rush same-day service a few times which is definitely worth the fee if you need them back quickly (I have a tendency of packing last minute for trips.) The drivers and customer service people are all super friendly. I can't carry heavy items up the stairs and the drivers never hesitate to carry the bag up two flights for me. You don't have to sort your dirty laundry...they do that too! My clothes and linens come back smelling nice and folded so neatly. read more

I would rather pay more money for a different company and wait an extra day to get my laundry back than use Nim Nim. Their pickup and delivery times are incredibly inconsistent- they give a disclaimer that there is a 1 hour window around your scheduled time, but I've had to call multiple times after no one has shown up within the correct time frame to pick up OR drop off my laundry. They never alert you when they are running late (past the 1 hour window), which is a regular occurrence. I've also had other people's laundry delivered to me multiple times and been charged for other people's orders. I don't think the low cost is worth the continuous inconvenience and unprofessional customer service. I also think it's really weird that there is SUCH a stark difference in reviews- it's either 5 stars or 1 star and I've never received the 5 star service. read more

They over charged me for the wrong items that I didn't even have in my order. It was done very sneakily. After multiple texts and emails they did fix the charges I don't believe they are to be trusted. My clothing items came back pressed nicely but they were clearly not cleaned. I gave the two stars because I really enjoyed the turn around on my items, less than 24 hours although it was poorly done. I may consider giving it another shot in the future in hopes that they make some updates with the laundry list of bad reviews here. read more

Terrible service! Damaged items and have failed to return items. This has been going on for 3 months with no resolution.

I hate to give such a negative review to any business, but after three really poor experiences (spread over many months), I feel I have no choice. Aside from the annoyance of frequently late deliveries, NIM NIM has my lost clothes and ruined a suit. Most recently, shoes that were due back the next day were still missing after 10 days. Repeated chasing of the manager went unanswered until I finally reached someone who, after profusely apologizing, told me it was "his sole mission (no pun intended) to have my shoes returned to me by 4pm the next day." Unfortunately I wasn't surprised when they were still not here at 5:45p and didn't arrive until well after half six (6:30p). NIM NIM has a great app without the basic services to follow it up. I suspect it is because they are a tech and not a dry cleaning/laundry business. My understanding is that they network a bunch of mom and pop cleaners through their app. They may control the drivers, but have zero control over the basic services they are promoting. There are other pick up and drop off services that are far more reputable. I am now using Garment Valet without the smallest hiccup and am receiving great quality. USE NIM NIM WITH CARE AND I WOULD SUGGEST DO NOT USE AT ALL. read more

After living in NYC where ma and pop laundry shops run the city, it's nice to have the convenience of the NimNim mobile app. The service is reliable and my clothes/dry cleaning come back smelling swanky and looking fresh. The company is also very personable. When they are 15 minutes away from picking up or dropping off my laundry, they text me. Definitely a bit different than the ma and pop shops that you need to call to request pick up. Calling is awkward. NimNim is not. Keep up the good work Nimmy! read more

After using Nim Nim for a while, I can no longer use this service. For a few months, I enjoyed using Nim Nim. A majority of my orders were picked up or dropped off late, but I dealt with it because they had great customer service when dealing with scheduling and their app was very convenient. However, in my last order, multiple clothing items were lost. I sent numerous emails that received no replies and no follow-up phone calls. My items were never returned (without so much as an email confirming they would not be able to help me) and I never received any form of compensation, despite losing over a hundred dollars worth of clothing. I am greatly disappointed that not only my items were lost using this service, but that their customer service was so poor in dealing with this issue. read more

I had no complaints about using Nim Nim until this week. I entrusted an extremely important jacket to them, with clear (and polite) instructions with the deadline to get it back, as I'm traveling across the country with this particular item of clothing. Yesterday evening, 6 hours after the requested delivery time, I texted them (usually a reliable communication with them) and received no response. I then called them and the connection was dropped twice. When I finally got someone on the line, they promised it would be delivered for 10:30 this morning. Well, my flight leaves in 4 hours and I still don't have my jacket. I am extremely disappointed and will not be using Nim Nim again, unfortunately. read more

I used to be use NimNim's services on a weekly basis until I got sick of the absurdity of their delivery practices. Unless you live in a building with a concierge, forget about NimNim because they will never contact you to tell you that they will not be able to make a scheduled delivery, or a rescheduled delivery after you call to get your stuff back. NimNim has been my dry cleaner of choice for the past three years in Boston. They are reliable and *fast* -- often easy to get clothes picked up and delivered back within 24-48 hours. Given this convenience, its crazy that they are at the same price point as my local Brookline Village dry cleaners, which take 5-7 days to clean garments without delivery. When you book a pickup on the app it shows a different final amount but they send you a bill with twice the value shown upfront. I'm trying to reach out to them, dropped several voice messages but no one has contacted me so far. Found it pretty shady. read more

Nim Nim is great !!! Ok. I've been using dry cleaning services for over 30 years ( yes I know I am old). When we moved into Boston from the burbs 2 plus years ago I needed to find a new service. My building suggested several companies. I picked Nim Nim because of the easy app with the prices and extra services listed. You pick the time for pick up and drop off. When They pick up they send you a text telling you your drying cleaning has been picked up. The next day a text saying it's been dropped off. Very friendly folks as I always thank the sender for their alerts. I've even used the shoe repair service on several pairs of work shoes.
