They planned an entire Mediteranean vacation for us which included flights, hotels, necessary transports, a cruise through the Greek Islands and a trip to Italy visiting Rome and Florence, including the high-speed rail transport from Rome to Florence. All our accomodations were perfect, they set us up with all the documentation, emergency numbers, instructions to help us get through each part of our trip. On one occasion, we had a hotel booked in Rome, Italy (confirmation numbers and all) and upon arriving there was an error in the hotels system that was delaying our getting into the hotel) We didn't know what to do and so we called the Livonia Travel Agency (from Rome around noon - about 6am EST) and right away, the representatives at Livonia Travel Services were calling the hotel to resolve the issue. A half hour later, the hotel consierge approached us and took us to our room. I remember being so worried that we were going to have find another hotel last minute with all of our luggage, but thank goodness that didn't happen. That sort of thing definitely happens and it was great to see the Livonia Travel Service have our back and set things right. We will definitely continue using Livonia Travel Services in the future - the service is consistently thorough, knowledgeable, affordable and SO worth it.
