A last minute decision to pick up food from here when we were downtown at a sporting event at Buffalo State. It was a great decision. We took our food home to eat and were pleased at the portion sizes of the food and how wonderful everything tasted. I will definitely order again or maybe dine in next time.

Yelpers seem to love Nine and Night Thai Cuisine. Once part of the beloved West Side Bazaar on Grant Street, which burned down a few years ago. I remember having and enjoying their Thai Beef Salad back then. Now, the restaurant has its own location in the Black Rock neighborhood. It wasn't my first choice for going out on Monday late afternoon. It turned out that most of the restaurants which I wanted to visit were closed on Monday or not for lunch. A surprising discovery. The restaurant is big and spacious, opposite from their previous location. With a limited number of tables and a sparsely decorated interior, it felt empty and cold. Actually, the temperature inside was satisfactory from the beginning. At the end of our stay, someone decided to lower the thermostat, really? It's winter! Overall, I was hoping for a more pleasant dining experience. I needed more than just food this time :). Regarding the food, my two companions strongly wanted to share all of the dishes we ordered. Eventually I agreed to play along. You have to understand, I just wanted my Shrimp Pad Thai to be all for me. That's all :). Then I thought the extra plates were too small. We had to be very precise when putting food on. There was a mess anyway. We tried. In the end, my choice of Shrimp Pad Thai was way too sweet and not my favorite. We liked the Pad See Ew the most. The Tom Yam fried rice was rather boring and nothing special. Besides, in my opinion the pork wasn't tasty. Papaya Salad and Red Curry Soup were both good. The Crab Rangoon? It wasn't my choice, and I don't understand why this is even on the menu ;). The Mango Sticky Rice would be better if it was served freshly made. I remember having it warm in the past. This time it was a cold brick of sticky rice covered with mango and some sweet coconut sauce. Still tasty. We had a server who took care of us to some point. After all our food was delivered, she disappeared. We asked for a bill and paid at the counter.

Food was amazing !!! I definitely would recommend and I can't wait to come back. The service was fast and easy. The restaurant was very clean and wide open. I hope more people come here to try it because I would hate to see it go anywhere.

Yummy and quick dinner with big portions. The tea leaf salad didn't have as much veggie as I hoped but it's good and refreshing. The pad see ew stir fry was yummy and soup had lots of veg. I'd recommend for families or a quick meal. Service was great too with a warm cozy vibe.

i was so happy to see this restaurant moved out of the west side bazaar and into a storefront. same good stuff, now with more drink options! service was great, prices are a steal, and it's a fun place to go in a good neighborhood. i will definitely be coming back

First thing I notice looking at the menu is that all of the dishes have the same sauces in them, same veggies, etc. just different hints or flavor (pineapple, basil, coconut, etc.) Fried Chicken dumplings 9/10 Deep fried, not pan fried. Really good, no complaints. Crispy chicken spring roll 10/10 Delicious, no complaints. Fried tempura shrimp 8/10 Tastes mostly like breading. I can't really taste the shrimp at all. Thai fried rice, mild, with chicken 10/10 Delicious. Chicken was good too, tender and soft. No heat. The rice also isn't super wet or saucy, it was on the dryer side. Would definitely eat this again! Thai fried rice, medium, with beef 7/10 Also delicious but the amount of heat was a little more than a medium, the spiciness builds as you keep eating it. Beef was ok, sliced thin, little overcooked and not super flavorful. Asked for some peanut sauce on the side, pretty sure they forgot to see if they even had any. Thai Basil fried rice 9/10 Not bad, again rice isn't saucy, the basil flavor came in towards the end of the bite, but also not super basil-y either. Fried udon noodles, no spice, with chicken 6/10 I have determined that I do not like udon noodles, so my rating probably isn't fair. The noodles are thick and gummy, and I don't like that. It's like biting into a gummy worm. The flavor of the dish was good though, saucy, and the chicken was not bad. The chicken was sliced thin, the thicker pieces were good, the thinner pieces were just a tad overcooked but not much.

I love that I can get better dumplings in my back yard than my friends in Seattle can get.

Yup! I'm in full agreement with my fellow Yelpers. Great food, pleasant surroundings, friendly and helpful staff. And it's just a short bus ride from my house on #32 Amherst bus, but you can take #3 Grant and walk a short distance from Grant and Amherst St.

My FAVORITE Thai spot, hands down. This is literally my 5th year obsessing over this spot. The owner knows me by name when I call atp. My go to dish is the Pad Ka Pow EXTRA spicy with extra sauce. It never disappoints. I typically get beef or chicken but I've even had the shrimp too! I'm a full circle fanatic. I absolutely love that with this new location he's open M-F. This is the one spot I know will consistently have the same taste for the food every single time.

Complaining about a restaurant that closes at 8pm, when you arrive 15 minutes prior is ridiculous. I am a frequent customer to this restaurant and absolutely love the food, service, and overall atmosphere! In fact, I chose this restaurant for our three year Anniversary!

Got spring rolls; a small Ton Kha soup and mango sticky rice - welp, I was bursting with happiness despite dining solo - everything was soooooooooooo delicious! and hot !! and flavorful !!! First and will definitely not be my last trip to Tiny Thai! side note: I was going to take the food back to work to eat but couldn't resist trying a few bites so I ended up eating outside the restaurant (there were a few table and chairs with a big window - quiet and aesthetic ambiance if I do say so myself) and took 1/2 of the soup and 1/2 of the mango sticky rice back to work. The soup was still delicious -and I didn't reheat it- ! I loved the 'warm' mango sticky rice and left the last half in the fridge - pretty sure it'll also taste good so definitely looking forward to late night dessert!!! I got the Pad Ka Pow with pork and an order of the spring rolls. The service was so fast here and friendly. I got my food to go and it was still piping hot when I got home 15 minutes later. This is quite the meal with a large portion of rice in the main dish and five spring rolls. It was delicious from start to finish. Each dish came with an extra sauce to use or dip into. The spring rolls were crispy and full of flavor. The pad ka pow was a perfect balance of savory flavor with the right amount of spice. I should have asked to get shrimp with it this time, but that will happen when I go back next time. The parking at Chandler Street can be a little tough but I found a spot which was nice. The building is full of businesses so it is a nice place to be when you're hungry. Tiny Thai is one of my new favorite places to check out in the city and if you're ever over near the Westside, you should too!

The cashier was a little gruff, but the woman running back and forth between the kitchen and the front had a better business sense about keeping customers happy. She didn't want me to wait long, so I think she rushed the kitchen a little bit, which I appreciated, but also may have led to some of the demerits on the food I mention below. I was happy to see one dish I ordered, the pig intestine with fish, on their picture board above the cash registers. That gave me confidence that they knew what they were doing and it was the best dish by far out of the three I ordered. The intestine was fresh and flavorful, the spice level was high, but also not too salty. It was a lot of food. Only drawback here was the fish (tilapia?) seemed to be heavy on the breading. The other two dishes were disappointing. Penang curry with pork had good vegetables, but the sauce had too little flavor since they went too heavy on the coconut milk. The pork seemed like chicken, not pork. Way too soft and flavorless. The Singapore Chow Mei Fun had good noodles and veggies. But the curry powder was not blended in. Eating it, I could still feel it in powder form. It was also far too oily. Overall, I think they had a lot of options but next time I'd steer more towards classic Chinese, since that seems to be what they do well. I hope next time the flavors will be stronger and blended better (i.e. powders actually stirred in). I'm willing to give them another chance, since they do have a lot of dishes I like. Last note: the online ordering service does not indicate that dishes come with rice. I thought they would have rice by default, but then when I added the penang curry to my cart, it asked whether I wanted rice or noodles or something else. So that made me think I had to order rice separately, which meant I had twice as much rice as I needed. It also said "quart of white rice" was sold out, but "pint of white rice" was not, yet the rice that came with my meal came in a quart container.

They serve top notch Thai food. What makes them extra special however is their service. The owner always greets diners with warmth. Tonight's message, "How are you? It's good to see you again." The dining room is comfortable and quiet, which is perfect for dining conversations or just checking email if you are dining like I was. I will admit that the room has aged a bit but it's still clean and pleasant. My Tom Kha soup had a tasty broth and was filled with chicken. The Pad Kee Mao lacked "spiciness" even though it is described as "stir fried spicy flat rice noodles in chili sauce" and I asked for medium heat.
