My friend and I decided to have our grt together at Thai House on a Tuesday. It was very quiet. We were the only ones in there and only 2 or 3 people stopped in to get take out orders. I ordered the pad see yu, which they could do gluten free with jasmine tea. My friend got pad Thai. The food came out quick. It was delicious and had great flavor. I would Def order again and or get take out from here. The ambiance was good, a little sparse, but there is nothing wrong with that. We were able to hang out and not worry about leaving to give the table to someone else. I really enjoyed the food and time spent with my friend catching up. read more

A very sweet waitress seated us, took our drink orders, and brought us enormous glasses of water in addition to our chosen beverages. The Tom Yum soup with chicken (medium spicy) was just right! The spring rolls with shrimp were tightly wrapped and full of fresh purple basil. We really loved our entrees: The beef ramen with shitake mushrooms, bok choy, bamboo slices and bits of corn was hearty and balanced. My sushi roll was full of fresh vegetables, and just right for a light meal. We'll definitely come back! read more

We stopped in last Saturday on a cold and rainy day. Sadly, it was very chilly inside the restaurant so we left our coats on most of the time we were there. The menu is very big and has a few different options from your other Thai places around. We both started with soup- I had the vegetable soup which was delicious! It came out piping hot and loaded with veggies. For my entree I ordered the crispy eggplant stir fry which came with rice. It came out very saucy with a nice heat to it and the eggplant was subtly crispy, with not much breading on it. I liked that the veggies were the star and with the rice it was very filling. My partner ordered the Prew Wan which he really enjoyed. Only drawback, like I mentioned, was the lack of heat inside. Otherwise I would have given this place 5 stars! read more

The wife and I decided to go out for a lunch date during the week. A lot of places are closed on a Monday but fortunately this place wasn't. The place was very empty with only another couple and us having lunch. They have about 5 booths, a few tables, and a bar on the other side of the wall. The prices were very reasonable for lunch, the food was brought out quickly, and the food tastes authentic. It being in Depew, I wasn't quite sure how good the food would be, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Kat Gyay Kite whereas my wife ordered the Beef Curry and rice. Both dishes came with a soup. I ordered mine extra spicy and it was just right. My wife ordered the beef curry medium spicy and she stated that it needed more spice. We were both fond of the vegetable soup.I think this might now be my favorite Thai / Burmese restaurant in the area, and I cant wait to try more dishes. read more

I love all Asian food but especially anything from Thailand. We ordered multiple items for pickup around 5:30. The order was ready on time, but when i got home it was incorrect. I received two of the same Tom Kha soups, I ordered two very different soups. It was very good, though. We ordered the chicken curry appetizer as well. The curry had a half inch of oil and maybe an inch of curry sauce with a few pieces of chicken thighs. Tasted good, but I had to try and get the oil out before I could eat it. The paratha that came with it was extremely soft but very greasy. There was oil pooling in the base of the dish when I removed it. The Udon was very good, so there were no complaints there. The fried fish didn't look like the picture on their site. It was flat disks of probably frozen fish patties. Very funky texture. Would not return for anything but the Tom Kha soup. read more

Really good Thai food. Haven't eaten in the restaurant in a bit but have had delivered several times recently. Always quality, tasty, and good portion size. Side on Tom yum soup was a little Tame when I asked for it spicy but overall good meal. Delivery gets a bit pricey though. read more

I am writing this review as I am sitting in the restaurant waiting for our food. We waited 25 minutes to receive water, and so far they have brought out our meal item-by-item after an initial 45 mins of waiting. We are still missing pieces of our meal. Do not come here unless you have a lot of time to burn or you want to practice self control. read more

Nice local restaurant. Had a goat chili dish and it was very tasty. Good sized portion. Friendly service. The parking lot is a little undeveloped but it's worth a visit for some dishes you don't find elsewhere. I recommend it. I want to like this place. It's right around the corner, and I want to support local immigrants. I might try it again, but there's so many other Thai and Burmese places here.First off, zero ambiance. We came in at 6 pm and there was one man eating. A Doordasher came in to pick up, but no one else entered. We came in andcouldnt.smell a thing. No delicious aromas. At one point, I smelled a little garlic when our meal.was.cooked. I'm just gonna.lay out the points here- Satay beef was chewy and overcooked. The peanut sauce was freshly made, subtle, and nice. Calamari tasted good and wasn't overcooked, but it was cold..not the kitchen's fault; our server was apathetic, not talkative or helpful, and absolutely terrible. He showed up to drop off food and then sat on his phone. The one table behind us remained unbussed the hour we were there. Like I said, we were the only customers dining in, aside from the table with the man who was finishing up when we came in. Sushi was fishy and not worth the price at all. Hard time finding something that wasn't a California roll with extra stuff. Most of the fancier rolls were just "California rolls plus". I've been eating wegmans sushi several times a week. sucks my first Buffalo restaurant sushi was.this. Wegmans is way better. Pad Thai and basil fried rice both had a very off-putting rancid smell to them. I quickly realized that's the smell of uncooked fish sauce. It was a bit better when reheated at home. I took it home to see if heating it helped, which it did, so yes, my assumption of it being uncooked fish sauce was correct and unforgivable. When rendered in, it's delicious and adds depth, but this was sprinkled on top like soy sauce. Also, we all ordered a mid range spice level. We all requested 3 out of 5. My basil rice would qualify as a 3. Spicy, but not punishing. Pad Thai had no spice, and the goat curry had none either. Now, that curry was tasty. It was greasy and had a pool of palm oil, but it had a wonderful flavour, warm and welcoming, fragranced with star anise, the one dish worth the trip. Sucks to spend $150 just to basically rule out a neighbourhood restaurant though. read more

First time at the Thai House, newly renovated restaurant, with open seating. Overall cleanliness impression, above average. Many choices on the menu, we opted for a couple of noodle soups and the beef clay pot. We were very happy with our choices, and without hesitation, the Burmese chicken soup with coconut milk and egg noodles, recommended by the lovely Tiffany, was the star of the meal! Loved the presentation of the entree in the clay pot, and the small side salad that accompanied it... great texture and very refreshing. I thought that the ratio between beef and rice was a bit off, I would have liked more beef! But the dish tasted great. I really wanted to try dessert but, by the time I got to the end of the meal, I was way too full... I rarely leave a restaurant with doggie bags, but last night I did! Not the greatest , everything was too sweet. Thai food is about balance not sweetness. The som Tam was good, fried eggplant was good but the dipping sauce was so sweet . should have had soy sauce or fish sauce, chili, vinegar, garlic, ginger or galangal with the eggplant. the entrees were way to sweet. service was good and the place was clean, servers were polite but the menu needs adjustment to be more authentic south east Asian cuisine. read more

Last night- Chicken in pad thai tasted bad, one server for restaurant...so pretty poor service, although they did remove meal from bill without argument. But I still left hungry..Biggest no-no however is serving clay pot to my daughter, let alone anyone, without either removing lid or warning that bowl is hot and to be careful! read more
